Went to this place in 2021 for an emergency extraction. The doctor was really impatient with me and acted like she was paid per minute. Long story short: Apparently here at Bliss we are rationing the local anesthetic shots. Despite me telling her it hurt the best she could do was tell me it's because the infection and she won't do another shot. I literally had blood on my palms from digging my nails in my palm. that's how painful the extraction was. 27 years and never had dental pain in the chair until this doctor. Not to mention I told her which tooth needed to be pulled (the one that caused me to go there in the first place) but the Dr recommended to pull another tooth instead (???) And get this, guess how she does this? With words? With some sort of spread sheet explaining how the tooth that has no pain whatsoever is causing pain in another tooth? NOPE, how dare you expect decency. She asked me to open up my mouth and HIT the tooth with some sort of metal instrument. The one she wanted to pull and caused that teeth to now hurt as bad as the one I originally wanted to get pulled! I left with the same pain I had when I went in and out of pocket costs for the tooth she just pulled. She didn't prescribe anything for it either assuming she just got rid of the pain. Run. To not walk away from this place. I now know why people are afraid of dentists. You couldn't pay me to get work done here. The reviews saying they got a surprise charge is also correct. Despite them telling me I was covered I ended up having an overdue balance more than 90 days later from them with a threat of collections if not paid in full. read more

I walked in dressed a little poorly & asked if they do braces but the receptionist said, "we don't do braces here." 2 nurses standing behind her snickered at me after she said this. Please see the photo of the front of their business that says they do braces. The receptionist had braces on her teeth. To be honest, they might not have been snobby but just racist. I went in for a check up and they talked me into a deep cleaning and multiple fillings then and there. They showed me a breakdown of what my insurance would cover and what would be my cost. 6 months later I got a bill for $600. My insurance rejected the claim, because Bilss didn't have adequate supporting documentation for the services they sold me. I just had a conversation where I found out they didn't do a pre-authorization, and the numbers they showed me were not based on anything concrete. Also after they talked me into these services they left me in the chair for over an hour and after the doctor got halfway through the work they gave up and asked me to come back later. I went to this dentist and saw DR. SWETA SHETH in February right around the beginning of the pandemic. I got a cleaning done and fillings. A day or two went by and I was still having pain in two teeth while eating. I called and told them and they brought me in and she attempted to "fix" what she did. She redid a few fillings and also worked on the wrong tooth. I left and was actually in more pain and it was just worse than before. I went to my home town for a few days and saw an old dentist of mine and he said she shouldn't have worked on my teeth several times in a matter of days, that it could cause other problems nd inflammation and he didn't feel comfortable going in on that tooth a third time in the same week. The pandemic continued... things started shutting down and I was having trouble getting in anywhere due to dentists only taking emergency patients or weren't taking new patients and I was terrified to go back to Bliss. Plus I had already paid thousands of dollars there and was in pain and unable to eat normally. They must have rebooked my cleaning automatically and they reached out to me via phone to remind me of my appointment and I told them they messed up my teeth and I would not be going in to my appointment that day! No one reached out to me. I finally found a dentist and he said the fillings were done incorrectly and "didn't stick on the inside" also one of the fillings was broken and the nerve was not handling that well and on another tooth it was cracked and a third and FOURTH tooth needed their fillings replaced also! I have will pay thousands of dollars to fix what this place has done, I've lost weight from not being able to eat normally, since I've had to chew just on my front teeth I have had to go to the chiropractor for jaw adjustments several times a month... it's been a complete nightmare I told them what was going on and asked for my money back, I was told no so that's why I am writing this to prevent this from happening to anyone else ! DON'T GO HERE! She doesn't know what she's doing and even if she tries to fix it she makes it worse. I paid her thousands of dollars! And now paying $3000 more to fix her mess up and she still has yet to call me herself and conveniently wants to see me on a date that would be after my teeth would be fixed. read more

If I could give this business a negative number, I would. Last year, my senior father went here for cleaning based on a coupon. Next thing he knows, they tell him he needs all this work done and wanted him to pay upfront. Which he unfortunately did. I encouraged him strongly to go back and get his money or I would. They were giving him the run around about getting his money returned. He said they eventually did. Btw, every time my senior dad went, the wait was ridiculously long. Then earlier this year they told him he needed a cap and how much it would cost. My dad was hesitant in paying all that money. But then he wasn't sure why they said that he needed a crown since he wasn't having any pain. This time I finally convinced my dad to go see my dentist. And guess what! They charged me $200 to do fillings and a teeth cleaning on 4/9/2022 as a new patient. During the appointment, the doctor and assistants argued over me about who should be suctioning because I was DROWNING in my own blood and from water. I was waving my arms at least 3x during visit to signal pain. They did not numb me properly and when I let the doctor know she told me I just needed to relax. I felt absolutely everything. The doctor cut into my gums in multiple places. They also cut my face around my mouth and I have scarring and scabbing. I have no relief. My face and mouth are damaged. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

My first experience at Bliss was not the most pleasant experience....however, the visit afterwards & my visit yesterday were phenomenal. The dentist I had months ago, came in & pulled my tooth in 4-5 mins top. All I remember her saying is "All done!" I was literally speechless. I had a friend visiting from out of town that did not have insurance. He called to make the appointment for an extraction of his un impacted molar. The office would not quote any prices to him over the phone. The appointment was made. When he arrived, they tried to pressure him for extras - xray of his entire mouth instead of a direct xray of the problem tooth. They demanded my friend pay in full for this xray and a limited exam fee before they would do the x-ray and exam while sitting in the exam chair. Never have I encountered a dental practice that would not quote a price BEFORE seeing the patient and demand money at the time of the appointment. After examining, the dentist quoted a price of a simple extraction of a molar tooth (not impacted) of over 700.00 without insurance. This is information someone needs before taking time to make the appointment when they could be finding a dentist that is honest and affordable. read more

They are taking multiple patients simultaneously and making excuses once you get there so you're stuck. This is dangerous for people who are high risk for COVID and need emergency dental attention. No dentist is ever going to be completely painless, but I have never seen a dental office work harder to keep their service pain free. The staff is friendly, and well trained. I went for a check up last year (First in a decade, oops) and had some follow up appointments for quarterly cleaning and some fillings. Each visit was as pain free as possible, and the overhead TV's to distract me aren't bad either. I have found my dentist. I may even not wait a decade this time to visit again. :) read more

The staff and dentist were friendly. I went in for a routine exam and cleaning without any prior pain. I was told I need 3 crowns and numerous fillings. I said ok because I figured I needed some work done...After that ONLY experienced pain. Temporary crowns were not placed correctly, they cut into my gums, one side of my bite touched the other had a big gap between the top and bottom. I had to go back twice just to have the temporaries placed correctly. Finally had crowns place and was still experiencing pain. Dr said she did not see anything wrong so referred me to an endodontic. The endo stated one of the crowns should have never been placed the tooth just needed to be removed. Ok 1500 wasted on a crown I had less than 3 months because I had to have the tooth pulled to stop the pain. After that I decided I would no longer keep going to the dentist because I felt as though they were not fully competent. The entire time there the hygienist and front desk staff kept stating how my insurance was the best they ever seen and continued to say you need braces, you should get braces, your insurance will pay for all of it...Of course so you can get more money. After 6 months of dental pain...I went to a dentist referred by a family friend and the dentist said ALL of the recently placed crowns and fillings were done wrong! The crowns were to large! I always wondered why food with get caught in between my crown and gum! I would just say do your research first...and get a second opinion read more

Came here for a cleaning in July and was told that I had cavities that needed to be taken care of immediately. Nothing but pain and problems ever since. Both fillings were painful to chew on and broke off shortly after having them done. The first one because I "didn't floss correctly." There was hardly any space between the filled tooth and the one behind it, so the filling broke off as I brought the floss up from between my teeth. They told me I should have been pulling the floss through my teeth horizontally instead of vertically, which my new dentist confirmed is BS! You should be able to floss normally after getting a filling - the Dr. just failed to leave enough space between my teeth! The other filling broke while eating a piece of chocolate. When I went in they insisted that I must still have not been flossing "correctly" for the filling break off, which really upset me - why would I lie about how it broke??? To be fair, Dr. Sheth did fix the broken fillings for free each time, but I really didn't appreciate her and her assistant blaming me instead of being compassionate or taking ownership for the imperfect work she did. Three times I had to take time off work, waste time waiting forever in that office, and endure painful shots because of it! I was still having lots of pain when chewing on both fillings, which was brushed off as temporary sensitivity when I brought it up, and my gums started to bleed really bad when flossing behind one of the fixed teeth. I was going to give them one more chance during my follow-up appt on Monday to help me and keep my business, but they kept me waiting over an hour. I walked out and scheduled an appointment with a new dentist who in one visit was able to redo the bad filling that was causing the bleeding, and properly contour my teeth so that I can finally eat again without pain! Thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall, the staff is decently friendly, Dr. Sheth is pleasant enough and the office is nice - hence the two stars. But they have lost all credibly with me based on my experience and wait times are atrocious. I would absolutely never recommend this Bliss Dental to anyone. read more

At that first visit all that changed, the location on Midway road is very professional, kind, and compassionate. The wait time is horrible and staff is..... not what I expected. I expected them to be a little more on top of things, I'm pregnant so it's important that my dentist office knows it. The day of my appt I waited an hour for the dental assistant to come into the room. Once in the room I smell a strong odor of cigarettes as if she just finished smoking and came into my room. I was there to get a tooth pulled and she is under the impression I'm getting my teeth cleaned, there is no record of me being pregnant even though I brought in an authorization form from my OBGYN. She then proceeds ask me what I want to do in regards to x-rays and simply reply " you tell me that's what I'm here ". The dental assistant then proceeds to go over my options after the X-rays and tells me I need another authorization form to move forward with whatever decision I made.The vibe was off and the wait time is a piss off, what's the point of making an appt when the dentist is still in the room working on somebody else's teeth. I just simply got up and walked out, it was a waste of time and I didn't feel confident they would do a good job after I had a whole hour to read their reviews ( which I should of done in the beginning). read more

I will start off by saying, thankfully, this dental practice did not touch my teeth. In March I went in for a routine cleaning. I was a new patient as my long time dentist was now out of network with my new job so I expected some extra x-rays and paperwork. What I was not expecting was TWO HOURS worth of x-rays. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned as scheduled because they took so long to do my x-rays and I had to get back to work. To add insult to injury, they recommended that I get TWO ROOT CANALS and work that totaled around $3k. I was shocked. My previous dentist didn't indicate that I was remotely close to needing a root canal or that anything was that wrong with my teeth. Luckily, I trusted my gut and got a second opinion. Guess what?! The x-rays at my new dentist took less than 5 minutes and MY TEETH ARE FINE. Two root canals would have been completely unnecessary. It is disturbingly clear they were after money over my long term health. Avoid getting scammed here. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

Horrible Dental Experience Ever. Most of the staff are friendly however there's this new lady named Allison at the front desk. She had a terrible attitude and not friendly like the rest. Also I went for a root canal and after 3 impressions there were still not able to get my permanent crown fitted right. As a result I've been wearing the temporary crown for over a month and now have a abscess there. So I have to go to a specialist now to get this corrected. Also the wait time is ridiculous so appointments are pointless. They will hound you for your money and make sure everything is paid but the services will not get completed. They're just all about money and do not care about completion of the dental treatment. read more

Dr. Sweta was very accommodating, from last minute schedule changes to discussion on what kind of treatment my son would receive. This was my son's first visit to the dentist and she did a wonderful job making him feel at ease. I really hate to give a new local business a bad review but when they don't live up to the verbal agreement of an employee then they really don't deserve anything better. I was using a coupon for a dental exam for my son. They also had a coupon for teeth whitening and knowing that no one accepts two coupons on one visit, I inquired as to how much teeth whitening would be. The woman I spoke with told me, in no uncertain terms, that she would go ahead and include it for free. On the day of my son's exam they refused to honor her promise. I got a call from my son and spoke with someone there explaining what had been promised. They told me someone would call me back after they checked with another employee that was not there at the time. Needless to say, no teeth whitening, no call back. So therefore this rating. Sorry, but the sooner a business learns about customer service, the sooner they can expect success. There are a lot of dentists out there so earning and keeping a patient should be a #1 priority. read more
