BEWARE!!!!! We were scammed by very unethical and fraudulent billing practices at this office. When…read morewe walked in to our appointment we were under the impression that we already prepaid for the appointment at our last visit. They told us no they wanted 10k more before they would start. We chalked it up to us possibly misunderstanding the treatment process. So we paid. Minutes later while sitting around for them to finish we noticed we were over charged 2 dental implants for a total cost of 3,042 dollars. When I brought this to their attention Selina the office manager "looked into it" and "corrected it." She informed me we would probably have 100 or 200 credit on our account. I looked at her confused and gave her the opportunity to explain why. She gave me some made up excuse that there was all the sudden a new procedure they had to add in the last few minutes only after I pointed out they overcharged me 3k. I felt like she thought I was stupid and would just believe her. I sat there another hour waiting to finish the procedure then approached her again, before leaving, to go over the the charges hoping she would take the opportunity to be honest and correct her scam. I knew what she did and wanted to give her a chance to own up to it, but she doubled down again and said even though we we're overcharged 3k we would maybe get a 200 credit for future work. I was so livid I had to leave before I got upset. I waited a few hours and called back to give her a 3rd opportunity to admit what she did and correct it. She doubled down and refused to return the money. I sent her proof of what she did and told her she must think we're stupid. I have provided photo evidence of what she did. Once I pointed out that we were overcharged her solution was to remove the 2 fraudulent implants from the bill, then remove our insurance portion and increase the price of each item by 100 making the new total 600 more than what I originally paid and she stated she was doing us a favor by not making us pay the extra 600. I have never in my life been treated like I'm so stupid. She really thought I would believe after I paid and pointed out the fraudulent charges all the prices magically went up 100 on each item. I'm embarrassed for her that she thinks this type of scam works. It's the most unethical thing I have ever seen. They refuse to resolve it so we will not be returning to this office ever again. Because they refuse to be ethical and resolve their own "error" we are left with the only option we have, dispute the fraudulent charges with the loan company who assured us they will hold them accountable for what they did.

She was not wrong! (Thank You Diane!) I expressed my concerns with them and they made sure I was comfortable, didn't pressure me to sign expensive treatment sheets, and tried their best to work with me. #MyDentistIsBetterThanYours Daisy, Simi, Inesha, and Dr. Lee are AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service I received. I enjoyed discussing the joys of travel with Inesha and Dr. Lee because it's not a snooze fest! Who knew you could actually enjoy a dentist visit? Dr. Lee was very thorough in his review, explanation of treatment, and care. I felt very informed and prepared for what is and what may be in the future. 10/10 on the communication front. Daisy & Inesha were aware of the unnecessary and costly treatment plan I received at the last place and didn't waste my time trying to upsell me or add charges, she actually saved me money. Thank you ladies! Simi was super welcoming and explained the treatment to me and was even kind of enough to share her own testimonial with me about what to expect. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Epic Family Dentistry, particularly regarding how…read moremy treatment cost and insurance coverage were communicated to me. I was given a written treatment plan showing my estimated patient responsibility at approximately $2,443. I specifically requested that my insurance coverage be verified and was told that if I waited until my insurance became active at the end of the month, approximately 50% of the cost would be covered. Based on that information, I waited an additional 30 days with a bridge hanging out of my mouth, believing I was making the financially responsible decision. After waiting, I was then informed that my policy had a missing-tooth clause and the expected coverage did not apply. I ultimately paid approximately $3,200 out of pocket. My frustration isn't simply that insurance didn't pay what I expected. It's that I specifically asked for verification, relied on the information the office provided, and delayed necessary dental treatment because of it. Unfortunately, when I attempted to address my concerns, I also found the office manager to be defensive and rude rather than solution-oriented. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when a customer raises a legitimate concern supported by documentation. I have my written treatment plan and payment records and have formally requested that management review and resolve this matter. If Epic Family Dentistry resolves this appropriately, I will gladly update my review to reflect that.

My first impression of the office was that it is very clean, modern, and might I say "bougie". They check your temp and oxygen levels prior to bringing you back - they hit all the marks on COVID. My hygienist was awesome - very friendly and gentle. They took photos of all your teeth to show you on a screen and Dr. Loh went over in detail what I needed done and WHY. I came back the following Monday for two crowns (my first time ever getting crowns). The experience was as good as it could be given the circumstances (who likes getting crowns???) Dr. Loh and his team made sure I was comfortable the entire time and aside from having my mouth open for a while, it was painless. I came back two days later to have my bite adjusted - they got me right in. My teeth feel and look great and I'm happy to have found a dentist that prioritizes permanent solutions that will last longer than temporary fixes.

I just let them fix the cavities, so they did the filling in the following week, but the fillings totally failed, I have experienced tooth pain while eating very soft food like veggies, and cold sensitivities for all the teeth done fillings with them, while I didn't have any issues with my any teeth before the fillings done, what's even worse is that the gap in between the teeth is to small and the floss string can't get in, I complaint those issues with Dr. Vazquez and went there for the second visit, she then asked me to bite on a paper with blue and red color and adjusted my bite on one teeth not the other two adjacent teeth and tried to open the gap in between, but because the gap is too small and she didn't check the gap after the filling, it ends up to hurt my teeth with lots of blood, she cheated me to say if things don't go better, I want you to come back. I came back a week later and complained about my tooth pain issues and she started to adjust the bite on that two teeth but still not able to open the gap, so she offered to redo the fillings. There is no reason I should do any filling with such a disqualified dentist that never check bite after filling or the gaps in between the teeth with simple floss, also not mixing the material well that caused sensitivity to me, I asked for the refund for the money I paid to their office so that I can pay out of my pocked to get it fixed in another more qualified dentist, they told me they need to ask their manager but I never got reply.
