My assistants Brianna & Zulema made sure I was comfortable and checked on me several times throughout the process AND I GOT FREE WHITENING!!! On top of all that, Dr. Margavitch AND Dr. Atia both did an evaluation (you can get a second opinion from another doctor for no cost!) and made sure I understood their diagnosis of my treatment and did not push me to do anything! Came in to get ONE veneer fixed since it chipped on thanksgiving. Ended up with a whole mouth evaluation, X-rays, cleaning, the whole experience. Come to find out the front desk girl didn't hear me correctly. Excuse me?! Still getting charged for everything. Why the hell would I want to get the whole experience ever?! Especially when I'm walking around with a broken front tooth! Front desk girl came in to tell me the charges and started by saying that I would need to set up two more appointments. I'm sorry I need this tooth fixed today. Then she proceeded to have to run back and forth because she didn't really know what was happening with everything Also they don't tell you the price until AFTER they've taken your X-rays. The dentist didn't wait very long for the numbing gel to do its job since when she administered the shot I started crying and was almost through the roof. Very terrible experience. If you like having teeth do not use Mint. I began using Mint over 3 years ago due to flexible appointment time. I was under the care of a dentist my entire adult life but work hours made scheduling g difficult. In March 2025 I went in for what I thought was a chipped molar. They insisted on doing a deep cleaning (never before suggested by any dental professional). In this process they broke veneers on my upper incisors. When I went to original dentist for repair (thousands of dollars and multiple days off work) I was told the chip was decay requiring root canal and crown (also thousands $). Also I required 3 more fillings and still have one crown to go. Grand total around $8000 dental issues not ever recognized or addressed by any of the MULTIPLE dentist I saw in my time under their care. Had they recognized the problem it could have been corrected before requiring a root canal. The negligent practice of Mint dentist cost me $$, time off work, avoidable painful dental work. ​​ read more

I have been a customer for the last three years. But recently their service has deteriorated significantly! My wife complained about delay of service and lack of attention by the staff a couple of times to me before. But I took those as anomalies. A couple of weeks ago, I went there for regular cleaning. I waited at the patient chair for 30 minutes and no hygienist showed up. I had to walk to the front desk and get their attention. Today I had an appointment for tooth extraction. I took 4 hours off from work. I checked in, paid copay, a nurse did X-rays and the she told me that the dentist who does extraction is not in today!!! I received at least 10 text msgs and emails with reminder that of if I don't show up I will have to pay $50 as fine. They had 8 hours (8 am to 2 pm) to notify me but failed miserably! Now, it is time for them to repay me for not taking time to make a phone call asking me to reschedule. I am demanding to compensate me for 4 hours of my salary as well as $50 fine for not doing what they promised. What a hell place it has turned into!!! read more

Long story short, I spent $190 for the promise of a teeth cleaning, and a membership, and I left with no cleaning, and a bill for an additional $500. Literally my first negative review. I've never been robbed by such pleasant people. The Dr. and the tech that worked with me were super nice. It's unfortunate things didn't work out differently. Today I called and made an appointment for a CLEANING, when I arrived I was told a cash cleaning would be upwards of $600, but if I joined their discount program. I'd only be out the $140 + the $50 for nitrous. Seeing $190 is definitely less than $600 I signed up. After the X-rays, and pictures, I was told to wait around while they got prepared to my cleaning. When the guy up front came back in stating they're recommending a deep cleaning, and that would be an additional $500. To top it off, they would not be doing even the basic cleaning, and said they couldn't. The "discount plan" is a ruse to get you to sit down, and your payment information. No one in their right mind would agree to these prices up front, and conveniently it's non-refundable. People are neglecting to see a dentist due to practices just like this. read more

Let me start off by saying I haven't been to a dentist in YEARS. I'm one of those who had a really bad (dare we say traumatic?) experience at my jerk of a dentist growing up and am terrified of going back--even the thought of a cleaning sends me into fits of anxiety! I had a small cavity years ago and reluctantly went to another dentist to be told "it's nothing to worry about... they could put a little filling compound in if I WANTED, but it's nothing needed right now." So of course I put it off, but made sure to brush multiple times a day, etc so it "wouldn't get worse." (Yeah... don't do that, folks...) Several years later however, it became a big issue... :( That tooth broke while eating lunch and needless to say I was freaking out. I guess advertising does work ... so many radio ads and commercials about sexy teeth. Could they reeeeeally make mine all sexy??? Well, maybe not sexy, but I was very pleased with my first experience. In this midst of COVID 19 I realize many industries were forced to close shop. With reopenings, it's rather difficult to get an appointMINT (see what I did there???). I called their number listed and talked with a lady named Letisha, who was just awesome. She listened to my concerns and offered appointment options, trying to find a balance of the soonest opening and distance. Once I told her that I didn't mind driving wherever in the DFW area, she found an opening for me the very next day. Check in was easy, and everyone was wearing masks and things looked pretty sterile. The office is decorated to look very upscale, and not like a traditional dentist office. They help "distract" you with pandora or Netflix options during your appointment too which is nice. My oral hygienist was awesome. I warned her in advance that I was probably going to be her nightmare patient for the day and that I'm a huge baby about this. I had to have a deep cleaning (remember fits of anxiety about a cleaning??? Yeahhh.... imagine how that went over...) She was awesome though. I think she used over half a jar of numbing gel on my gums and teeth trying to make me comfortable, which was most appreciated. Yeah, I squirmed and yelped a little here and there, but it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I remembered it being growing up, and for a deep cleaning at that!! Next up is an appointment for a crown to address the broke tooth. Yes, I'm nervous, but based on the first experience I'm a little more at ease and looking forward to getting it taken care of. I will definitely be scheduling my 6 month check ups and cleaning going forward without anxiety! My only "negative" is that I googled mint dentistry and sedation and when I asked the check out desk they told me that they do not offer sedation options... I didn't press the issue, because I have some left over medication from a prior surgical procedure that i will use, but their website clearly states that they DO offer sedation. read more

Every day, my fiancé is in constant pain because of the lack of care they provided. She calls the office manager who blows her off EVERY TIME she calls. They did a trash job on her mouth and won't fix it. To make matters worse they won't pay for it. They gave her a referral but won't explain to her how it's gonna be paid for. She initially went to MINT DENTISTRY ON ELDORADO IN MCKINNEY TEXAS to get a cleaning and THEY recommended that fillings be replaced. GUESS WHAT??? They did a trash job. Please come for me because we have receipts. Your office manager needs to be fired. Judging from the reviews, turnover is a problem which means there is no true leadership in the place. Again, please come for me because I have receipts. Still to this day, you have not called her back. The so called customer experience number just rings which is another for sure sign that no one cares. I had a terrible experience. I was told I had two very small cavities and that I should do a filling (I had zero pain on these cavities before any treatment), after they did the filling I had so much pain on my bottom tooth where they did the filling. I went in about 4 times for bite adjustments until they finally agreed to redo the filling because something seemed off. When they redid the filling, they used a medicated filling so I felt fine for about a week and then the pain came back 10x worse. From what started off as a "small cavity", I am now being told I need a root canal because the dentist who did my filling actually drilled into my nerve and caused damage. I now have to get a root canal that I originally did not need because on unproperly trained dentists.. I'm very disappointed read more

July 1, 2022 I went online to schedule a new patient cleaning. I'm new to the area and was looking forward to what I had heard on the radio. I received a voicemail later that day stating my insurance was stopped and I needed to provide insurance information. I was not able to call back in time before the office closed. The office was closed for an extended July 4th weekend preventing me from speaking to anyone however, I left (2) very detailed voicemails with all of the information needed to verify my insurance was active. It seems your office isn't able to do a quick peek online because of limited access and must call in to the number I provided. Today is Friday; my rescheduled appointment is Tuesday. I was assured I would be contacted regarding the insurance so that I would be okay going in Tuesday. I called in to check that everything was verified and was told more time was needed and that you have many clients. I don't doubt you have plenty of clients and my piddly account won't break you but I'm not understanding how so much time is needed still to verify coverage. I called several times to cancel Smile club membership since June 2020. Every time, the representative who answered my call told me it's canceled, but I got charged agin in July. And, I just got an email notification that the payment is charge on 8/18/2020. I don't know what I should do to cancel the membership and get the refund for July membership fee anymore. avoid at all costs. If you aren't gonna pay for an overpriced dental work they will hustle you out the door and forget about you. Needed a root canal through a crown and was told they could only do it if they replace the crown (and overcharge me for it at that). I was told they would have to refer me to a specialist in order to not buy another crown. Then i was hustled out the door and never heard from them again. A month goes buy, tooth is really hurting now. I call their emergency number b/c coronavirus and everything is closed. I'm told the specialist is closed for atleast another 2 weeks at best, and they can only prescribe me ibuprofen for the pain in the meantime. What a joke and a scam....but thanks for the cheap birght green sunglasses that literally no one asked for or wanted. read more

I made an appointment several weeks ago - and received multiple reminders- all stating the fact I would be charged $50 if I cancel within 24 hours. I received a text and email last week saying I had to confirm my appointment that was a week away- or I would lose the appointment. This morning I received both a text and an email reminding me of the appointment. When I got home tonight I had a voicemail at 4:18 stating my 9:30 am appointment tomorrow was canceled- the location is not open. I could call back and they would accommodate me at another location. So they cancelled less than 24 hours beforehand and when I called the number they left - it went straight to a message stating no one is available to take your call- goodbye. I had better not be charged the $50 fee - they are the ones who canceled with less than 24 hours. Needless to say, I will not reschedule at this location or any of their other locations. read more
