Awful, place dropped off 2 articles of clothing a jersey and a wool jacket, jacket smelled exactly how I brought it in and the jersey had 3 stains that were on there and could have been easily removed , over priced and literally just placed in bags to look like they did something, avoid scammed !!! read more

I called this place for the first time to have my daughter's first communion dress cleaned. I stated it's been in a bag for years. So it has a yellow dinged to it. Well, she proceeded to tell me yes we can clean it and I said OK proceeding to try making an appointment and she asked me what my problem was do I need a dolly. I took my wedding dress with mysterious stains on it from moving homes. They were very clear that they would do their best, but there was no promise they could get the stains out. I did also bring my husbands suit and some dress shirts to be cleaned and pressed, which were fairly priced and ready within a week. She gave me a two week timeline to for the dress to be ready. Two weeks to the day, I went in, and my dress was ready and perfect! They got everything out and pressed it- looked better than new! After reading too many bad and scary reviews about the dry cleaner in Morris, I figured I'd try Minooka Cleaners. I didn't have anything challenging to clean, just two suits and two sports coats. Everything turned out perfectly and I believe the price was reasonable. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. It was well worth the 17 minute drive down I-80. read more

Be wary of taking your items to the Minooka Cleaners. Twice this week they weren't open on time. I needed items before leaving town today. They were supposed to open at 8 am. I waited until 8:30 before I had to leave. Called and left a message and didn't get a response until 2:35 this afternoon. That's more than six hours after I was there to pick up my items. Then they told me I needed to pick it up by 7 tonight (I'm out of town until Sunday). Now I have to find somebody in town to go and get my items. They won't offer any sort of refund. Absolutely horrible customer service and clearly not the way to operate a business in our community. So so disappointing. I love supporting local businesses. But not this one ever again read more

I have not had a problem with getting my coats dry cleaned here every spring. Never had an issue. Sewing service is decent.

I recently started working in Minooka and wanted to find a local tailor. I brought in 3 pairs of denim pants to have shortened and requested them make the hem look like store bought, not just fold and stitch, which honestly I could do myself. They asked a lady to come from the back, Linda and I told her that I need all 3 shortened and hemmed to look like store bought and pointed to the jeans I was wearing and said like these. They smiled said yes and charged me $33 which I thought was an ok price for what I was asking. I was devastated to pick up the jeans and see they were ruined as they cut them off, folded them over and ran one stick around the jeans. I had searched months to find these particular jeans, bought one in New Jersey and 2 in Oakbrook and now they were ruined. They just looked at each other and said no, you did not tell us that. I repeated exactly how the conversation went and the younger lady said "oh I don't know" the older lady said you did not. I did not get any apology or offer of refunding even my alteration charges, I left the jeans as they are in such a way I knew they would never be worn, they now looked like Women's pants and were really high quality Men's Buffalo Jeans which I spent way more then I should have but they were a Christmas present so I splurged. I write this only to warn previous people, I should have researched before I went there because the other review on this dry cleaner would have been enough to make me go back to the cleaner in Aurora and driven the distance. Beware of Alterations, I have no idea how they do on dry cleaning but I know I will never find out either. read more

I have lived in Minooka for 17 years, and since I have lived here, I have brought Minooka Cleaners all of my dry cleaning and alterations. She has replaced zippers, hemmed ball gowns--several, replaced buttons, hemmed dress pants, cleaned my down items and cleaned and pressed dry clean only items. I have always been pleased with the work done. The only drawback is the Subway next door...but that isn't the fault of the cleaners. This will always be my first choice of place. read more

Worst business ever!! They lost my clothes and gave me someone elses clothes and went on to say it was not their fault. They said it was my fault. If I take my clothes to be cleaned, I expect my clothes to be returned. Take responsibility for your mistakes! DO NOT give them your $$ or clothes. Better cleaners across town. read more

Just moved here & Very 1st time using this cleaners for Brand New Pants just bought, they put 2 seams in both the pant legs. There turn around time is terrible. 3 business days to dry clean 2 pairs of pants & 2 shirts. I'll be trying a new cleaners in the area. read more
