He was sure to reach out before any worry or concern because I of course forget the dates haha. In the end, the dress came in better condition than when I first bought it. It was amazing to see the update and after photos and made me wish I took some before photos. My dress wasn't super filthy but the train definitely got dark brown. Your girl couldn't get off the dance floor! Since I'm in the middle of de-cluttering our apartment space and haven't figured out where I'll store the dress, I haven't quite opened to see how it's displayed. It is such a special dress with such intricate and delicate crocheting (some of which was done by hand by my grandmother before my mom's wedding), we weren't sure the fabric would make it through a cleaning attempt. Looking online I wasn't sure if anyone would even touch it since it was so old. We brought it in to Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners and crossed our fingers. We were absolutely AMAZED with the results. The dress looked PERFECT. The color was revived to its original beauty, all stains were gone, and they repaired the back buttons perfectly. And they lasted all night through MY crazy dancing! They attempted to fix it and put hooks on it covering the snaps, which shows. It is now ruined. They refuse to pay for that. I spent $400 on the pantsuit, $150 on the shawl, and $550 on the shoes.
