So I used to get some real drinking done here in my 20's...full circle and took the wifey for yummy date night al fresco. If you don't already know it's a huge bar restaurant with 3 main sections including the outdoor dining area. 2 large bars, pool, table dance floor, band's playing... it's a spot. The outdoor area was packed. We sat next to the gnats. Not anyone's fault but at 7:30pm my wife and I were also on the menu. The service was A++ Courtney was one of the best servers we've had in recent memory and we've both logged years in food service. Super friendly, checked and gave updates as the place was packed and the kitchen was no doubt goin down. I got the hot honey sammie, my wife got the cutlet w/fresh mozz, peppers and pesto aioli... both were really tasty and the portions were a great value. They have a wide selection of dranks and daily specials. I wasn't happy that the $5 fri Pacifico special ended up as $8.30 each on the bill... so always check the bill because honest mistakes happen. Although Im a huge music fan the volume of the speakers in the outdoor area are simply deafening. Be warned if you sit under the pergola the music is so loud you'll be able to smell Taylor Swifts breath. I would however do this again. You should too. read more

Always a great place to drink but just recently discovered they have amazing food too! I got a turkey burger and loved it. They have a variety of options on the menu and they all sound delicious. The service was good and it was nice to sit outside in the summer. Only downfall was the drinks weren't the best but still not horrible, a little pricey too but that's all of Long Beach. Would come back! read more

First time here & I'll definitely be back. Came for the Mother's Day brunch. Vibes sitting outside were great: amazing playlist (All Too Well 10 min version, Out of The Woods, Night Changes, AND As it Was?! Yes please!) Lobster roll was really flavorful and the fries were crunchy & seasoned perfectly. The coco margarita was refreshing & flavors were well balanced! Our waitress was so wonderful. read more

Overall not bad. Short staffed, but the world is these days so my review is in no way complaining about that. Food and drinks were good but not out of this world incredible. Ambience is good, especially if you like country music. read more

In the stall going to the bathroom. TMI but I was on my period and the security guard was banging on the door and then barged into my stall and kicked us out. Walking into my stall while I am still trying to put on my pants is NOT OK. I don't know what this was about but it was definitely ridiculous. I'm sorry I was taking "too long" to change my tampon and had cramps. She was also touching us and pushing us and we gave her no problem at all! I have family in the police system and now that I have her picture she will be notified. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else! read more

Terrible and expensive food. Worse service. There are great restaurants around Long Beach. Pick one

Since you're wondering... Service was sub par, food was sub par. Being that this is in Long Beach I ordered a warm lobster roll and fries which expectations that the lobster roll would be great. The quality and amount of lobster was great but the flavor was EXTREMELY lacking. The lobster seemed to be sautéed in some sort of oil and then thrown on a piece of lettuce and covered in parsley. No salt. No garlic. No flavor. Nothing. Just a waste of good lobster. There wasn't many people dining at the time we were there and yet the food took longer than expected and the service was completely neglectful. I literally watched the staff chilling at the bar as we waited 20 minutes for someone to come and refill our waters, which never happened. Plenty of other restaurants on this street to visit. read more

The food was very good, I got a quesadilla and Street corn that were well priced and flavorful. The atmosphere was fun and the crowd was young. Drinks were a little high priced for me but they did have daily deals. The tables moved once it got later and the floor opened up to a dance floor/bar vibe. Good music and a lot of fun ! read more

Good vibes post-beach day and basic drinks. Outdoor seating is a plus and they had a friendly waitstaff. Only downside is the prices of the items, while their food is tasty it is not worth that price. read more

Went to Minnesotas on Long Beach with my two children. I have to say we have been going to Long Beach for years and this place truly is a gem. We had the mussels, jerk sliders, and beautiful fresh oysters. It was Taco Tuesday so we had to try them. They were unreal. The taste and flavor in all of our dishes was to the highest standard. Our compliments to the chef. Kelly Ann was our server. She was super friendly and nice very helpful and knowledgeable of the food and menu. We'll definitely be back for this 5 star food and service. Also try their Margaritas they're awesome. read more

pre meal- we sat with 5 people in our party, three 16 year olds and 2 adults, and although the hostess was extremely pleasent, the servers were slightly rude. there were multiple servers that came over to us and i don't think a single one said your welcome to our thank yous. we wanted to add an appetizer so we asked our waitress if we could put one in (politely and respectfully) and she didn't even speak a word and silently took our order walking away with a head nod. another note was that one member of our party was not in attendance when we were ordering, so i, her daughter, went ahead and ordered for her. she interrupted me multiple times and seemed to just have an annoyed mood. we were very polite and definitely did not deserve this sort of attitude. we also witnessed another older kid who was dining alone finish up his meal and watched as the waitress, a slightly older woman, slammed down the check and didn't even give him a chance to hand her the cash before she quickly walked away. food- pretzel bites as an appetizer were very good, definitely enjoyed. chicken avacado ranch was also delicious, thouroughly enjoyed. ambiance- very nice vibes we definitely enjoyed the aesthetics of the place. felt tropical and not like we were even in new york at all. the decorations and the small details really add to the overall experience. unfortunately the service sort of brought down our ability to enjoy this. read more

Just make sure to check your bill against the menu. There are extra charges, different prices, and the things in the menu don't show up on the bill so it's hard to know what's going on. Plus, if you're looking for a similar taste at home, just swallow a jar of salt. read more

Just like nearly every other Restaurant in the West end, Minnesotas has a good vibe and good ambiance with bad food. I ordered the tidbits (see photo); bread was stale and cheese was cold and portion size had me thinking I ordered from the Kids Menu. Another in my party ordered a lobster roll with fries, all of which were also cold. This all being said, The service was good; always checking up on us to see if we wanted drinks (probably cause they know the food is so bad). Jokes aside, having worked as a server in restaurants wiith less than stellar food, it pains me to write this because our server truly was excellent but excellent service doesn't outshine a subpar kitchen. read more

Fun place to go out in Long Beach. This could be a deterrent or a motivator depending on the type of personality you have or what kind of night you are looking for, but this place gets sooooo packed sometimes you can barely move. The DJs are usually pretty good here and the staff is really friendly. The prices are high and the drinks taste alright but that's everywhere on Long Island. The bathrooms are too small and the girls line is actually insane sometimes - and once you get in, the bathrooms are dirty and stink. Definitely is a place to go if you're looking to have a fun night out and I come here once every few months. Just wish they would do something about the bathroom situation honestly as the entire bar itself is huge. read more

I love Minnesota's! Been coming here for years and the food is always phenomenal, great ambience dining on the outside patio w comfortable seating, umbrellas for shade and I love the little pond which adds a little tranquility,it's also nice and comfortable inside, great apps, the seafood is always very fresh, delicious sandwiches, huge burgers and ice cold beer/potent cocktails, all the waitresses and waiters do a great job and are always friendly and smiling, This place is great for the family or a friends get together,Sometimes it get really busy especially in the summer with all the beach goers and service can take a little bit of a hit but it's Long Beach so you just have to keep a positive frame of mind ,relax everything will be all right...i promise lol read more

All I can say is do yourself a favor and DO NOT EAT HERE! I am not sure what happened to this place but it's horrible. There was 2 people in the whole place and the food took forever. Ordered from the raw bar and had to return because it looked awful! That should have been our indicator to run. Hubby had the lobster roll which he said was good. I ordered the Steak Frites. Fries were good, steak was dry and rubbery not to mention I have been sick since with nausea and runs. Avoid at all costs. read more

This seems to be the popular spot to go to after spending a day relaxing at the beach. They have dancing after 7pm - or at least a dancefloor - and indoor and outdoor seating. I have been to Minnesota many times so I returned yesterday. Wow was I disappointed. I ordered a lobster roll, it was not available. So I ordered the lobster bucket. I waited 50 minutes, asked twice where my order was. Finally I asked for the manager who arrived as my food came. They put the bucket down I had no bowl for the shells and no cracker for the lobster. I had to ask for them. When I received the Cramer I cracked the lobster claw to find nothing in it. I ate the shrimp which had no taste and was so over cooked. I called the manager over again she said there was a shortage of Lobsters since covid. Had they told me that at the beginning I would have ordered a burger which my husband was enjoying. The manager did take my meal off the bill. My waitress nice girl but no utensils after 50 minutes and it's not like they were busy. I was very disappointed! read more

This is our second time here in 2 weeks. The first time we waited a lil bit for the food, but boy was it worth it. This time the food came quicker and was phenomenal. The nachos, Cajun pasta, and Mexican street corn shrimp were to die for. Service is fabulous and people are kind and very friendly. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the weather if you choose. The whole experience is one to remember. We'll be back again soon! read more

Well let's just say 1. Sexist sexist sexist.... Bouncers let in underage girls with no clothes and flip flops on but won't let respectable men in wearing flip flops / sandals on a Sunday night in a beach town??? Cmon u could do better. Then the bouncers were bullying the men we were with on their outfit choices (nice shorts and shirts), literally asking other girls in line to to not agree and make fun of their "style choice". Such a disgrace and not recommend. There are much better options within walking distance and no cover. read more

Came here on labor day and waited 20 minutes for a table. They had only 2 waitresses serving the whole outside. We ordered oysters and lobster fries. We saw the guys at the table next to us leave because they were waiting so long and no one was asking them their order. The food took 30-35 minutes to come out (you dont even have to cook raw oysters..) When the food did come out, they gave it to a different table next to us. We had to tell the waitress it was ours. The oysters were not the best. The lobster fries were very good. This place has a lot of potential, they just need a lot more staff. read more

Some of your bouncers are weirdos. I can tell through experience and all of the other reviews describing your security. I ask one where I can go to smoke and he says out front. I go out front to smoke and then they wouldn't let me back in. Why? Because the bouncer "said so" meanwhile he just let my friend back in right before me. So basically I paid $10 admission for 20 min. What a deal. Not much else I can do but give you 1 star for hiring buffoons. read more

Took my family here on Thursday 6/27/19 around 5:30. There were 8 of us. We were seated immediately, hostess was friendly. Restaurant was clean and my kids enjoyed the games set up on the side of the restaurant. Server was friendly took our drink order. I ordered their special margarita on the rocks with salt. There was no salt on my drink when it arrived nor were the jalapeños muddled as described on menu. We ordered our meals. I was the only one ordering an appetizer, little necks and oysters. They were fresh. However, horseradish was watery and there was no hot sauce and table. I immediately asked the runner for Tabasco. He never brought it. Our server did not check on us so I got up and asked a busboy for Tabasco. A few minutes later our server brought me Sriracha, they had no Tabasco. When our meals arrived, my son was missing French fries and wanted another lemonade. Our server again did not check on us. There was no ketchup on table, salt shaker but no pepper. We ordered burgers....I flagged down our waitress and she brought ketchup but ran without asking how everything was. I was chewing so I wasn't able to call to her and out the door she went before I could ask for pepper and my son's lemonade. After we finished our meals I again had to flag down our server for the check. There's no need for us to ever go there again. Disappointment. read more

SHITTIEST BAR IN LONG BEACH HANDS DOWN. WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN. The manager is genuinely a immature bitch and should not be running a store AT ALL. to make a long story short they stole me and my cousins ID because the unnecessarily disgusting disrespectful bouncer "Dana" or whatever the fuck his name was, said he "didn't have time" to scan them to Validate if they were official or not which of course they were. then instead of the manager coming to correct the situation and give us our IDs back so we could leave she threatened to call the police on us. being that we were had already left multiple other bars like the ugly duckling before we weren't looking to end our night with calling the cops over something that could be replaced. once again HANDS DOWN THE WORST place ever . the food is shit to begin with and the drinks are extremely over priced i've been here before and they have served me and my friends drinks many times before and this is the first time this has ever happened to me anywhere PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your money on this shit hole!!!! read more

How. How is this place still open. I went there at 6pm Sunday (to see a band) you would think 6 pm still has dinner or waitresses taking your order. Nope. The 2 bartenders on site were rude, they literally ignore everyone except for people they seem to be friends with. I'm not 21, i have money to pay for my drinks and tip you but it's fine, waste your time on 1 dollar tips. I hope that pays for gas.
