I had the most worst experience going to this establishment and that would be two times this year at the same location. I walked into the cafe and asked for coffee first the lady said, "oh we don't have any coffee here at all" we can make u an Americano though which I agreed to and then came the payment, the other barista refused to help me or even take my order and refused my method of payment saying, "oh we don't take gift cards anymore because head office said it's not allowed in the store anymore" she was so rude and arrogant like omg, I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this place I had to give my gift card to someone else who will hopefully have better luck than me. read more

I have been here twice while I was in Langley visiting a friend. This cafe has wonderful options for hot chocolate and has a nice bakery section. The service is good and the staff is friendly. I like their coffees and cookies. They have some gluten free options for the cookies so it is worth a try. If you are a dessert person. They even give you their in-house made chocolate squares with every hot drink order. The place is spacious and has good seating options as well as patio seating. Great place for hot beverages. My friend loves their tea lattes and they have good non-dairy options too! read more

We stopped in twice and the hot chocolate is INCREDIBLE. The first time I got the hot chocolate and I added cinnamon. Yummy - not too sweet. The second time I got the drinking chocolate with cinnamon and WOW! It is basically a dessert and an excellent one at that. Puts all other hot chocolate to blame. Worth a stop every time we come to BC. read more

This is hands down the best hot chocolate I've ever had. I've been coming here for a few years, and nothing compares. There's plenty of space to sit down and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Highly recommend! read more

After having visited the Downtown Vancouver location a few times in the past, I was happy to find a new location had opened up in South Surrey and decided to try this new location too. The visit didn't disappoint. Free parking in the strip mall complex, patio seating available and air conditioned clean bright interior. Coffee beans are ground fresh and brewed for your own cup with a little side accompaniment. The only difference I noted was the downtown location (last I frequented) would allow you to choose your preferred coffee bean, while the Surrey location just asked you which roast (medium, dark, etc.) you preferred. Adding on a delicious looking white chocolate waffle (all was eaten before I could ask try a bite) and a solid ham and cheese croissant (wasn't heated up though, and I wonder in hindsight if that was an option I could have asked for), and we had ourselves a good place to sit for awhile. He did some studying for an upcoming exam, and I did some people watching and vowed next time to order the smores tray. What I really appreciated at this location was the staff. As I watched them help other patrons (the place really seemed to fill up after we sat down), everyone was upbeat, cheery and that positivity rubbed off on me. Just something about the staff there that had me feeling a lot lighter and happier when I left...and that is why I'm giving it full marks. read more

Lovely place. We stopped by for coffee and ended up enjoying some of their chocolate and fondue. Clean and great service! Everything was excellent! read more

The store was clean and it had stools/ chairs for seating. Every order got a free dark chocolate with it. I had visited with my cousins, and we ordered Fondue and cappuccino. The Fondue comes with s'mores and fruit. The overall cost of the items were reasonable. The location is in a small outlet center. The place was decorated for the holidays. read more

Mink has a few locations in the Greater Vancouver area but this time around, we went to their Surrey location. On Easter weekend, staff were very welcoming and friendly. We got their drinking chocolate and a potato and leek croissant. They have limited seating outdoors but there are quite a lot of open tables in the Morgan Crossing shopping area. Chocolate and croissant were great, and we would recommend coming back here to visit! read more

An entire cafe dedicated to chocolate?! What is there not to like? The drinking chocolate comes in 10oz cups, which is huge for something so rich. Coffee is good and they have a Clover machine (think reverse French Press). We were there for dessert, so my husband and I got the S'mores tray. That's right - you make your own s'mores. The chocolate to dip the marshmallows in was thin, so I felt I wasted most of it, but the taste was amazing. read more

We always pass by this coffee shop but it's only now that we tried to come in. This place is great for coffee and other sweets. We had coffee and parfait, and it was so good. All the servers have excellent customer service and even gave me free strawberries for my parfait. After our coffee we also bought their easter cookies, caramel spread and dark chocolates. Great place, great food and great service indeed we will surely be back for more. read more

Best hot chocolate in lower mainland hands down! Like normal you get whatcha pay for. Lol

I'm generally not a big chocolate guy, but I appreciate the large variety of chocolate products here. What I love most is the nice selection of hot chocolate and drinking chocolate. The 70% cacao hot chocolate I got had a deep chocolate flavor unlike most watered down hot chocolate out there. Everything was perfectly balanced... The creaminess did not get overpowered by the chocolate. Def drop by here for some hot choc or pick up some gifts for loved ones! read more

Disrespectful worker, not Covid safe. No wonder the shop didn't have many people in it. An unmasked staffer first ignored, then argued with our polite question about her not wearing her mask. She kept her eyes down, kept sweeping, and said her manager said she could take off her mask while she swept. When I said it was okay, but (as she made her unmasked way closer to our table) could she please just stay back from us. She barked at me, interrupting me, and repeated her manager said she didn't have to wear her mask while sweeping. I asked if her manager said she could interrupt her customers - as she again cut me off. Customer-oriented places hire staff who respect reasonable requests, not argue with customers. Lukewarm tea. Only told us after we bought our drinks that they were about to close. Little ambience. One employee was nice. read more

Extremely disappointed. Used to come here to have their chocolate fondue and get their iced hot chocolate from time to time and it was always amazing. My most recent time I had ordered a dark frozen chocolate and it was extremely watered down. Had no chocolate taste at all, ended up throwing away. Not sure if it was because it was close to closing time or they're changed their recipe. I came around 30-40mins before closing. read more

I used to frequent this cafe and it was great... then Covid hit and the owner implemented almost no safety precautions. No staff wear masks, which attracts customers who don't wear masks, which attracts customers who don't social distance. It's a mess. The place has fallen off a cliff. I won't be back. Why anyone would choose to operate like that in today's world is beyond me. Mink had an opportunity to shine through this and clearly chose to do the opposite. So disappointed. read more

I have shopped very frequently at Morgan Crossing but have never tried Mink so I finally stopped in for a quick bite. The server was very friendly and the establishment was welcoming. I enjoyed browsing their specialty chocolates while deciding what to order. Treat yourself to a sweet chocolate indulgence or beautifully presented open face waffle. I had a smooth Americano with savoury turkey, apple and Brie waffle. The presentation was a nice touch, served on a silver platter and my lunch did not disappoint. It's very sweet that they give each customer with your order an individual wrapped signature Mink chocolate... yum! I highly recommend coming here. I have since been back and enjoyed the most delicious hot chocolate OMG! read more

This is one of my favourite places to go to unwind and read a good book. With covid at the moment we take our things to go. The owner is amazing as well as all the staff. I love the fact that being gluten free as well as dairy free they have an amazing vegan dark chocolate mocha that I enjoy and all their other coffees. The gluten free and vegan baking is also a yummy treat. Thank goodness for small businesses that have been able to push through this difficult year and this is one place I will support as much as possible. If you haven't been I recommend giving it a try, you will not be disappointed!! read more

We live in the area but this was or first time here! We've been missing out! It was so good! We had the personal fruit fondue (2 of us shared it). It was so good! I used to like this place, but recently something changed. The service, though prompt, was very curt with me when I inquired about their internet not working. I was basically told I could leave if I didn't like it. Despite being able to see the 'connection bars' on the device, they didn't care why I couldn't connect. They didn't consider to reset their router or explain that I had to begin through their startup page (which didn't connect). As it is, I have to use my own data plan just to say how very disappointed I am with them. I guess I'll just go to another coffee shop in the future. If enough people encounter this type of attitude, I suppose this place will continue to lose business until they get off their arrogant #$$3$ read more

My Family frequently used to go to this place, but I was extremely upset to hear how the owner treated my Wife when she ordered a drink. My Wife, who is the customer, made a small mistake in an order she frequently made there requesting Oat Milk be used, and the owner got upset with her and charged her for another drink and threw the first one out, essentially charging us double. After all the money I've spent in this place to hear this is how they treat regulars they'll never get my business again. Go to a place where your business is appreciated. I've never walked in this place and ordered just a drink. It's always been with multiple add ons. Never going back. Looks like Starbucks is getting my business back. At least they know how to treat customers. read more

That's for customer service and attitude. Vancouver's better in this regards, but one great thing about this Surrey store is that it's huge, more upscale and even a bit pretentious. Walking in, the main seating area is off to the left for more window action. Right corner would be more discrete, and a good first date impression. I still couldn't get a full answer from Faith whether it's 100% Belgian chocolate. Located close to Thrifty's Foods. read more

Who doesn't love chocolate? Especially those dark hot chocolate you can get here at Mink's. There is a location in downtown and I've passed it several times but never had the time to go in and it was quite a treat for me to see it in Morgan Crossing. We had dark hot chocolate and they were sweet and chocolaty but not over the top sweet like some places. I saw people getting chocolate fondue and that definitely got my attention. I will have to try that some time. Mmm... yum. It's little bit on the expensive side. For two large sized hot chocolates, it came to $15.00 and change but as a little treat, it ain't too bad. As for the space, it's pretty open and spacious so if you got a stroller and the place isn't too busy, it's a good mommy hang out spot. They also have a high chair but I think there is only one. read more

Great cafe for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend checking this place out when you're in the area.

Amazing coffee and chocolate. Staff is always welcoming and friendly will always stop by this Cafe when in the area

This place is a huge treat ! An upscale European flavor cafe with the best Cafe' Mocha we've ever tasted. It is made with either milk chocolate or dark chocolate ganache. And a little Mink square chocolate served with each beverage... How nice.. Imagine being served dessert on a silver tray? Very classy. Their apple tart was delicious and my tea was served in a little pot and in a thermal double sided glass. It is impressive to see that someone has taken the experience of going out for coffee and made it a little more luxurious than the standard fare. read more

This place is a bit expensive, but they've got some really great chocolate here! Mink Chocolates has a modern, yaletown feel in the Morgan Crossing shopping area. The drinks here are great however the baked goods here/snacks here are a bit of a let down. The oreo inspired cookie that I had here was gross and stale. I can't comment on their chocolates because I've only tried the dark chocolate that they give for free with drinks. The employees here are also a hit and miss, I have waited about 20 minutes before on a Saturday for just one drink because they decided that the weekends were a great time to train brand new employees on how to make drinks LOL. I prefer to save myself some time so now I just walk across the parking lot to Starbucks where I just go pick up my drink that I ordered off my app. read more

Stopped into mink for a little break while shopping and its a great little cafe. They have so many different food and drink options. We also got cold drinks and loved them. Would definitely recommend checking it out. read more

Service is great as the staff are friendly! Atmosphere was nice and quiet! We ordered traditional fondue and African tea ! The taste was good and the chocolate was great! The tea tasted yummy! My 3 stars are because the plates we got with the fondue set ( one was dirty and another was broken )! I am like that when I see a dirty plate , I always start to think that the whole store is not clean and I don't enjoy the food anymore! My recommendation for this place is to get new plates and make sure ur plates are cleaned before serving! And getting staff who don't smoke! read more

Cute cafe in the South Surrey area. I ordered their personal Traditional Fondue which is still a good size to share between two people.
