Have dealt with them a few times. Prompt, professional, courteous, and even dealt with a weasel of an insurance adjuster to save me around $900 in storage while they lowballed. Can't say a bad thing about them. Recommend whenever able, and all have also been pleased. A small town place that let's service level keep them going. Seeing bad reviews, and reviews based on fb post seeking validation is something I can't say if have experienced here, nor has anyone ive sent. With that, you will never see them on your best day. It a business that has to feed families, keep the lights on etc. More people should consider and respect that. Its a business not unicef. I cant understand why they should gift towing because you failed in some capacity around Christmas. This is all based on my own experience, they deserve any business i can send. Extremely, extremely rude lady that runs this place, all the local business can not say anything nice about this person. I truely don't know how they stay in business with customer service. This time was a tow and storage over night, last time we had to deal with them was an accident repair, hacked up our Escalade, looked like they painted it outside on a dirt ground. If you make the mistake of having your vehicle towed here, you'll be met with an extremely rude woman at the counter that will change the price unreasonably high once your car is in their lot. They'll even keep personal items in the car as collateral which is larceny, all to keep your car and sell it for scrap. Any other tow place would be better to go than deal with these scum. read more

Worst people to do anything with, they will give you a price until they have something to hold over your head then raise the price by 8x what they originally said. They illegally hold personal belonging until you pay which is a direct opposition to what the Michigan towing laws are. The desk clerk does is very mentally unstable and screams until you leave the building, talking to her on the phone is the same way. Let me clarify a bit more. The paper that had the total said $240 but the fees listed were $165 + $25 + $25. When I told you that didn't add up to $240 YOU were the one that got a confused look on your face and grabbed your CALCULATOR. When you got an attitude with me and said here do you want me to fix it (you forgot to write a fee for 2 days) I said yes, if I'm signing it I want it to be correct. I'm no savvy secretary but usually when you give someone a total, the fees should equal the total....just sayin Let's not forget that when you handed me back my paperwork you forgot the insurance information...when I mentioned that you didn't give it back you argued with me for about 5 minutes before you found it where you forgot it..... And as I walked out the door to get my son's car you said "have a nice walk"?! I do not have a record of issues with police and my car being impounded....I've never been arrested... Not that it's any of YOUR business but this was an issue my son had! I was not upset and didn't have an attitude until you argued with me about the totals YOU wrote on the paperwork not adding up to the amount written at the bottom. I had no issue with the amount being charged, I just asked that it be correct if you are asking me to sign it. I think it's very sad that a business tries to dis-credit my experience by using a stereotype of "disgruntled felons" (which no one is or was in this situation) and even IF that was the case, why does it give you any right to treat people the way that you do?! All that being said....whatever opinions you have about me should not be reflected in your performance at your JOB....you are conducting a place of business and should have some class, not hunt down people with bad experiences and harass them..you're doing your company no favors here. read more

Mini's helped me out big time when I was in a bind. I was visiting a house on the waterfront and the right front end of my truck fell in a sinkhole. There was no way I was getting out without a tow. I called Mini's because they were the closest. Within 15 minutes of making the call they were at the house. 5 minutes later they had me pulled out. You can't ask for better service than that. read more

I brought my car to minis after I purchased it to have body work done (rust spots) and they did an amazing job! My car looks brand new. Michelle was very kind and willing to work with me. And I highly recommend minis to anyone having car trouble. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! The lady at the counter Michelle outright lied. My sons girlfriend Kaelyn was in an accident on a Sunday and this is the company that the state police called. On Monday Kaelyn was told her bill was $620 for towing and one night of storage which is double what other companies charge. She was also told that she couldn't have her wallet (containing her license, SS card, insurance card etc. ) and other personal items until the bill was paid. My husband called Monday and asked if she could sign over the title to pay the tow bill and Michelle said "No we don't want the car, it's not worth nothing". He negotiated a price of $545 and was told by Michelle they would waive the administrative fees and all the storage if she could have $545 paid within the week. Kaelyn also called the state police on Monday to see if by law they could hold her wallet etc. The state police called Minis and said they couldn't hold her personal items. Kaelyn and her brother went Tuesday afternoon to get her personal affects and they asked Kaelyn to sign a hand written agreement that she would be back Friday by 5:00 to pay the $545. She signed. Kaelyn went back Friday with the money and paid the $545 and was then told by Michelle the bill was $720. Michelle showed the paper Kaelyn had signed on Tuesday and it was clear where she had added on after the $545 "only if the car title is signed over". She would not give us a copy of that paper. I was irate and asked to see the towing bill and Michelle would not show it to us and called the police. I asked for Kaelyn's money back and she grab it and refused. Another wrecker company was there to remove the car because Michelle stated on Tuesday they didn't want it so this other company was willing to give Kaelyn $200 which would help her with her wrecker bill. Now Michelle said the bill was higher because they weren't getting the car. This lady is a liar and corrupt. We ended up signing the title over to Minis because the police officer was not listening to reason. I have spoken to other local towing companies to get a printout of their rates to compare and they have all said that Mimis has a history of horrible customer service and price gouging. I am doing everything in my power to have them removed off of the state and local police department rosters and sharing our experience in social media so other people don't have to deal with this horrible bossiness. Research them, we're not the only ones who have be taken by them. read more

I have dealt with them for a number of years and have found them to be fair and provide a good service for the price. I wonder if the people giving the bad reviews were walk in customers or people that were there because of police tows, big difference. read more
