It was before 7 AM and I called the first towing company to come up on google, Bluewater Towing. There was a miscommunication and it ended up taking an hour for the truck to come. Things could have continued to go downhill from there as there was an issue with payment. I had no cash and the truck did not have a debit/credit machine. For some reason, I couldn't do credit over the phone. Instead of inconveniencing me further, as I was two hours late to work, they let me go free of charge due to the miscommunication and everything that had gone wrong. As a young working person that $80 makes a huge difference. Thank you for making up for the original inconvenience. Also, shout out to the tow truck driver who helped me!

I was very distressed atp. He asked where i was from and i said st clair shores. he asked me where to take it and i asked for the closest shopp to me rn (i dont know the area). And he responded with lakeview transmission shop, I agreed without a second thought because i had just asked him for the closest place. The place was 10 miles further than the cllosest auto shop and he charged me 8$ a mile. He wont own up to this and he says its my fault for agreeing. If you want to deal with a narcissist who doesnt care about anyt but himsellf and his truck, youve come to the right place. Oh if you call him to report a problem hell put you on speaker in front of his chilldren. A real great man he is who said he did me a favor cause i was in a bind. My car was in an accident this past Friday (March 5, 2021) This was the company that was called out…read moreto the accident. I was not there (my friend was driving my car) Before even asking my friend (the driver of the car, who was perfectly fine as in not in need of medical care) they towed my car to their "salvage yard", I'm assuming so they could make some money off of me with a storage fee. I called them not even 30 minutes later and had them take my car to the dealership I specified (the accident actually happened right in front of the dealership). Today I went to gather my belongings from my car and everything in my car was moved around (not from the accident). I always keep $50+ in my car for an emergency (always in the same spot) and it was no where to be found. What is most concerning to me is the fact that they towed my car without even asking anyone where we wanted it to go when my car was actually drivable and the fact that the contents of my car were moved around from the scene of the accident. The dealership said no one was in my car, I have used that dealership multiple times and never had an issue. I will be okay with losing $50 and some change, but I am writing this review so others' are aware before they let this company handle their car.

I had an accident where my car was destroyed, undrivable, scrap metal. Don's Towing was assigned and what a mistake! They towed my car and within 24 hours my usless car remnants cost me $570 to retrieve. $70 for 2 days (but somehow less than 24 hours there) $25 to type in my car's info to their computer $225 For the accident tow $80 to let another company through the gate to retrieve $125 clean up - arguably much was already done by fire department before any tow truck arrived $45 battery disconnect - already done by fire department They "generously" offered to charge me $375 for them to keep my car for themselves AND then sell it to a scrap yard for more profit. Funny, the scrap yard is paying me $350 plus they picked it up from this place. Obviously this all still cost money but I got a way better deal by having another towing company finish the transaction. In short, while you're disoriented from an accident that almost takes your family, be sure the first thing you do is say no to Don's Towing.

We drove the vehicle and they put it up on the lift so we could in spect, the mechanic had fixed an oil leak on the valve covers and put in new plugs, tires and Bush's sent it out for detailing and frankly it drove and smelled like a new one (except for that burnt oil smell which after a month has pretty much gone away). Staff was nice and as with any used car it's a crap shoot but they did a very good job at bringing a 2007 Nissan Murano SE Touring edition back to Life with 132,000 miles. We LOVE it but miss the pickup, but felt very comfortable with the quality of preparation work done by Bush's Motors so five stars!
