My very first appointment with them. Karen and Rose we're both there. Rose took me under her wing. Took off the dip which chipped so badly and did a fantastic job on my acrylic nails. Karen brought me a margarita and some candy totally spoiled. Their prices a reasonable and competitive. Loved it. Will be back again! read more

I loved my experience at Mini Nails & Spa! The set came out so cute and I am obsessed with the charms. The customer service was amazing especially from Linda who did my pedicure. Julie is a fantastic manager and I can't wait to come back. The 20% off promo was super helpful as well. read more

I had such a great experience at Mini Nails! Karen was super sweet, helpful, and so patient. I showed her exactly what I wanted and she got it down perfectly. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer so many services besides nails--facials, eyebrows, eyelashes, and more. I definitely recommend this place! def coming back! read more

I don't want to complain since I've been there multiple times, but I couldn't just let this one slide because my experience was worse than before. On my first visit, I paid $60 for a gel builder refill, and the technician seemed reluctant to do it, taking deep breaths several times while working on my nail. My nail ended up looking a nightmare--I couldn't even bear to look at it. The polish chipped after just one day. I drove 30 minutes back the next day to get it fixed, but the polish didn't last any longer; it came off again. Additionally, she didn't seem to drill properly to make it look neat. I think the owner should look into this to improve the service because I truly regret spending my money there and am left very disappointed. read more

I have been coming here for a couple months now and usually see the guy and a woman V they are amazing and efficient. Today I called made an appointment for manicure, pedicure and the actual owner was the only one working today. It took her almost 3 hours to do a poor job of a full set. I told her this is taking a while let me go get my friends kid I'll be back at 5:15pm to do the pedicure part. I walk in at 5:14 and she's starting another lady's pedicure and tells me I'll just have to wait... unprofessional, dismissive, and poor work quality. I won't be back read more

Stopped in because I was eating Tacos next door and needed a full set and pedicure quickly. No wait and they did both at the same time. Both paid a lot of attention to detail. I appreciated that they tended to my cuticles without me asking. $15 add on for gel is pretty standard price, but the full set seemed a little higher priced than my usual spot. I'd come back. read more

This nail shop was a cool spot Especially during the Emergency shut down. But the main lady Monica was totally disrespectful to me my last visit 2/19/21. I asked her if my stamp card could be stamped for the times I missed getting a stamp because I forgot. My bad. No big deal. But I am a regular paying customer I would think as well as appreciate it if I could get the stamps/signatures for the days I came and PAID for my service requested. Very disappointed in Monica's reaction. Totally ignored me, like I didn't just pay you lady? Never coming back here. You guys lost a loyal good paying customer. Peace read more

Mini Nails - Just got my nails done 2/19 and it is now 2/22.... smh - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakewood, California

Worst nail place I've ever been to. First of all, we called to make sure they were open and available on Easter Sunday and they said yes. My friend and I waited like 20 minutes when we got there and there were only 2 ladies working on 2 other customers. Once one of the ladies became available, they started doing mine, my friend waited and was supposed to go after me. I came in with an old gel French manicure and wanted to get dip powder. They didn't remove or push back the cuticle at all (literally no manicure whatsoever), the lady didn't even fully take off the French manicure before she started doing the dip powder so you could see it under the powder once that was done... powder wasn't evenly distributed all over the nail, it had gaps and looked like it had broken off! I kept asking her to fix it she didn't see anything wrong with it even with her glasses on.... high key blind. I didn't let them finish, I left because it was so bad!! After seeing mine, my friend didn't want to get hers done. She ended up leaving $10 but honestly didn't even deserve them. read more

I came across this place looking up nail salons that are open late and meet my expectations with service and the way I prefer my nails to be done. Let me tell you !, I arrived tired and in need of some pampering. I had left energized and satisfied at 32 weeks pregnant lol Monica is a sweet and honest woman. She's a great nail tech. I'll definitely be coming back. I didn't get the name of the woman who attended me with my pedi and triple coat on my acrylic nails but thank you very much ! read more

Mini Nails - Best set of nails I've ever had! - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakewood, California

I went in to meet a friend and I desperately needed a mani and pedi. This was my first time going there and I definitely will never go back. I've never experience such a horrible pedicure. The man giving the pedicure seemed like he had never given one before. He did not clean my toes. Did not file majority of them. Cut me while cutting the cuticle. The worst. I was going to get a gel mani but seeing how he was doing a horrendous job on my feet, I said heck no, he will not be doing my mani. But then , I had gel from a previous place so I needed it off. So he did my mani anyways. I felt bad not paying for my service let alone complaining, so I payed for me and my daughter. When I asked the manager to kindly zelle me money back for my service, she said she had no access to the zelle account. Mind you, I knew she was the owner of the nail place she just didn't want to zelle me back my money. She asked that I come back so she can fix for me. Why would I want to go back after the entire incident?! Never again. $60 for this job. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! read more

PSA: Andy doesn't work there anymore, it's under a new management (they'll keep telling you he's on "vacation") The new management is very cold, the lady doesn't talk/smile, hardly engages with anyone. She looks like she doesn't want to be there lol she is skilled though (saw her working on a few people's nails). What threw me off was her telling walk-ins to sit and wait, that they'll be with them soon when it was obvious that they wouldn't be able to help them any time soon because of how busy they were. just irked me a little. Wendy does my nails now, she takes her time and is always willing to change/fix anything I ask. Only thing is my acrylics break way easier than before, they're not as great as Andy was. read more

First time here thought to try other salons around although I love my regular salon. This salon caught my attention since it's next door to an eyebrow threading shop that I go to and my favorite taco spot too. It's kinda like hitting three spots at once! Nails, eyebrows and bomb A$$ tacos but I definitely do NOT recommend!!! The young guy was trimming my toe nails and cut my skin! OUCH he was also in such a hurry he barely rubbed my feet rushing to attend to the next walk in. Not great service! Won't be going back read more

I was in and out within 20mins and the lady was rude after I asked why this don't open 9:30 like it says .

Mini Nails - I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK!!!!!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakewood, California

Probably the worst pedicure I have ever had. When in walked in, I noticed everyone was different. They lied and said the manager was on vacation (found our later the manager and staff actually moved to another location) the floors were dirty, they charged me $5 to take off the gel polish that they put on (well the same place) they charged $1 to use my debit card and my feel feet so rough. They are worse than before I went in. Took me a while to find that gem but now the new employees have no idea what they are doing. Looks like I will be driving to Fullerton to the new location (THAT PICTURE IS FROM THE PREVIOUS EMPLOYEES) read more

The first time I came here I really loved my nails and so I came back a second time but I was utterly disappointed and upset. My manicurist first kept attempting to force me to get gel nails but I only wanted a regular manicure. Afterwards she proceeded to work through my nails very quickly and she was comfortable answering her cell phone and having an extensive conversation all meanwhile. She cut my nail cuticle and I bled a bit which she didn't bother to apologize for. I was not happy at all with the quality of the nail paint either. When my manicure was over she just left me sitting there without a word waiting for my nails to dry. I will not be coming here again. read more
