Before-- done when I was 15 by a friend
Ella H.

This place doesn't cease to amaze me-- I came to Lee (5150leelee on Instagram) with a picture of a tattoo I got in my early teens from a friend that I wanted to get covered up with a traditional rose. She was highly recommended to me by a friend, but I wasn't expecting this outcome. She did everything I wanted and more, in the size I wanted. She worked on the cover-up piece in her own time, so it would be perfect when I came in. Nobody can tell there was ever anything underneath. She changed the music in the shop to something I wanted to play, and talked to me throughout the whole appointment. There's also an ATM inside-- super nice feature. I recommend this place to anyone who asks. If I could give a 10/5 I would:)))

What an amazing walk in experience! My friends and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to be able to get three different tattoos back to back. Everyone here was incredibly friendly, we instantly felt so welcomed despite how busy it was. Lee was especially wonderful! We showed what we wanted using pinterest inspiration pictures and she was able to get drawings of what we were looking for pretty quickly. She was easy to talk to and made our visit so memorable!! Thank you for such a great experience!!

I've been tattooed by Dani (@daniwilsonart on IG) thrice and I would have done way more tattoos with her had I not moved away! She is such a cool artist with amazing skills and ideas, and just as equally enthusiastic and welcoming towards my own ideas, too. Dani has a super light-hand which made getting tattooed on my calf way easier than it really could've been for me considering how sensitive I am. I've been more than amazed at each piece she's given me as each one has incredible linework and coloring. I've also been tattooed by Lee (@5150lee on IG) when she was first started tattooing as an apprentice and I love the tattoo I got from her and I wish I had been tattooed by her again before leaving as her skill has absolutely skyrocketed. My husband has also been tattooed at Jackson Street by Jose (@roarshak on IG) twice and his tattoos are awesome! Jackson Street is a super clean, welcoming environment with really awesome artists that are so good at what they do. Their prices are awesome, you are paying a good price for a good tattoo. I'd go back any day.

Yesterday I spontaneously decided to get my 5th tattoo w/ little to no planning. I hastily looked around to see where I could possibly go for a tattoo & I ended up coming across Jackson Street Tattoo Company. Within an hour, they were able to help assist me w/ my tattoo. I worked w/ Dani & she was able to create a template of my design which took about an hour. After she was done setting up & ensuring I was satisfied w/ the placement & size, we went straight into it. It took less than an hour to finish, & once when it was all done I was happy w/ the overall quality. I will definitely consider coming back here again in the future especially since the price for tattoo's are pretty cheap here.

Everyone there was super nice despite being so busy and exhausted having seemingly worked all day. Three of us were walk ins and Dani took two of us. They stayed the shop open hours past just to squeeze us in and she was super accommodating and kept her energy up the entire time. We felt so welcomed and comfortable with her. Thanks again Dani, you rock! Love my fish cowboy

Got my first tattoo here ! I was able to just do a walk in and they made me an appointment for that day a couple hours later. Drew me up a beautiful design of my mandala moon. My mom also got a tattoo from here and she wasn't satisfied with hers. However he immediately made to fix it and correct her so she was satisfied. Very thrilled with the result !

I got a medium-sized tattoo done by Ed on my forearm. Not only was Ed friendly and the tattoo was BEAUTIFULLY done, but it only took 45 minutes!! Setting up an appointment was super quick and easy, too. Highly recommend this shop and Ed!

Mike tattooed my boyfriend and me multiple times and his work is timeless. The details and care he put into our tattoos was beyond impressive. I get complements on my tattoos often and all the credit goes to Mike!

I just moved back from eastern Washington and was looking for a new artist. Patty was amazing and created the most beautiful sternum piece. I couldn't have asked for anything more and she made me feel comfortable while being tattooed in such a tender spot.

My appointment was scheduled for 5 pm on a Saturday. About 45 minutes before my appointment, Eric emailed me and informed me that he had a walk-in who wanted a tattoo. Eric asked me if I could come closer to 5:30. I agreed. When I went in later, Eric apologized for delaying the appointment, and that he explained firmly to the walk-in that he had a scheduled appointment and would need to work quickly to respect my appointment. I really appreciated that. Eric asked me if I could describe or show him what I wanted. I showed him a couple of pics I found on the web. He said no problem, would probably take about 15 minutes. He sketched it by hand first, then transferred to a computer, and then got to work. It took about 15 minutes like he said and I love it! Eric explained the tattoo after care that I should follow, as well as providing me with printed instructions. If I decide to get another tattoo, I will definitely patronize this studio again! You should use them too!!

This is one of the best studios in the tristate area…read more Where to start? I have always wanted to get a tattoo. I am an artist and a lover of the arts, so it makes sense, but I never took the jump until I met Sean Duffy at Phenom-A-Bomb. For two years, I researched different artists and looked all over the country, but I never got the inviting vibe that I was looking for from any of those talented folks I bookmarked. And then the strangest thing happened: I ran into an old elemetary school acquiantance at a bar who had a simply gorgeous art piece on his shoulder. It was creative, colorful, had impressive depth and lighting, the shading was highly skilled, and looked like it was designed FOR the actual body part it was on. I had to know who had done it, and was directed to Sean. After checking out all of his work and thinking on it for a couple weeks, I decided to make the leap. Even after setting up my consultation I still felt anxious about the experience, but any fears I had about the experience or the end product diminished in about 30 seconds of meeting him. Right off the bat, he was well spoken, personable, and extremely friendly. He loved my idea, and was very excited to work with me. During our first consultation, I showed him the design elements I picked out and he was already spitting out dozens of intriguing ideas and details that really blended everything together. I was still slightly neurotic about the final design because I had trouble visualizing what he end product would look like. That brings me to an important point about working with him and any other creative artist: if you really want to make the best of your time and money, you need to give him or her creative license. Why? You can go just about anywhere to get your compass star or koi fish (and no disrespect if that's what you want!), but if you want the best looking piece possible, you need to give your artist freedom to do their thing. The drawing process is very organic, and imposing too much control over that process and cramp an artist's style. I'm not telling you to dump your ideas and let people doodle whatever they want into your arm, but you should be prepared to let the tattoo evolve as the process goes on. Some of the ideas you thought would look badass just won't translate over well to the body part. So what do you do? Do you find someone who will plop whatever you want wherever you want? In my opinion that is not the point of "body art." If the piece does not complement the body and soul of the person wearing it, you just have a symbol embedded on you. Again, fine if that's what you want, but if you're as picky as I am then that's not gonna fly. That being said, Mr. Duffy has no ego and will not try to push you in a direction that doesn't work with your own philosophy. He will, however, give you honest feedback and suggestions. And if you don't like his design, he will start from scratch for free, and you aren't getting billed for the hours it takes to do that. It's a pretty damned good deal if you ask me. Onto the actual day of the first sitting, which totalled five hours, I don't think the process could have gone any smoother. The studio is bright, beautiful, and clean. He will show you all of his tools and explain how they work if you're curious, even going into the hygenic process that the studio uses to make sure everything is sterilized and clean. He's got a huge cabinet full of blu rays if you want to chill, but I like to yak so we talked the whole time (with It's always sunny providing occasional laughs). As for the process itself, if you've had work done before then you probably know what to expect. I can honestly as that through the entire five hours, only a couple moments of actual pain occurred. The rest is pretty reasonable (no worse than sunburn). I only bled from one tricky area that had a lot of detail. One of the biggest skills a tattoo artist needs is a feel for the correct depth of the needle in the skin. Too deep and you hit muscle, too shallow and your ink doesn't fully take. It's a sweet spot, and one you need to reach if you want to keep that color looking bright for years to come. That's something that only experience can teach, and he's been doing this for 15 years now. The first session was last month, and it's fully healed now, looking as bright and beautiful as it did the day it was done. I get complimented randomly everywhere I go now, and everyone wants to know where it was done. I can't wait to go back tomorrow and get back on that chair. I will be uploading photos to this review when the half sleeve is finished in November. A note on the other artists: Tara, his wife, is extremely talented, but I have not had the pleasure of talking to her for more than a couple minutes. All of the artists there are highly skilled and up to snuff. If you don't end up working with Sean (his waiting list is getting longer than a year), you will be in very good hands as

Yardley Tattoo owners, Max and Lisa, are such wonderful and kind people and am so glad they chose to bring their talents to Yardley, PA. Their shop is very welcoming, cozy and clean. My first tattoo here and most recent tattoo were both inked by the owner Max aka danger_pop. I got my first piece in memory of my grandmothers. I shared my vision/high level concept I had in mind, the symbolism then Max ran with it and designed what is now inked on me. When I saw the mock up for the first time, I cried happy tears. It took two full day sessions and Max explained everything in depth, made sure I was good with the placement and got to work. It's been 2.5 years, has healed beautifully and I absolutely love seeing this work of art each day. An added bonus is I receive so many compliments and happily share my love of Yardley Tattoo. I also have 2 flash tattoos, candy hearts saying 'love hurts' from their 2023 Valentine's Day flash event and a 4 leaf clover from November 2024. Both were tons of fun, quick and healed beautifully! (Love their flash events!) September 2024 - Max designed and inked my reddish color rose. I wasn't 100% decided on placement and Max was so patient, brainstormed placement ideas with future ink in mind. It has also healed beautifully and the color, design and just everything about it is stunning!! I also get lots of compliments on this one. I highly recommend Yardley Tattoo and think they are an amazing addition to the Yardley community and lower Bucks county. I love seeing small business owners succeed and wish Lisa, Max and team all the best!
