Kung Pao Beef
Dustin O.

The Kung Pao Beef is so good! I asked for extra spicy and it has just the right amount of spice

Ming's Cafe is a Chinese Restaurant located in the Bristow Center retail complex. They opened their doors yesterday (Sept. 10, 2024). It's a small place on the inside - perhaps 3-4 tables to eat in. I placed an order to go: Hot n' Soup Soup (small); an order of Vegetable Rolls (with a side of House Chinese Mustard); and a Dinner order of Kung Pao Chicken (extra spicy). I wanted a large option for the Hot n' Sour soup - but the small size is the only size option for now. The soup was fine - the run-of-the-mill Hot n' Sour soup that a lot of American-ized Chinese Restaurants offer. The Vegetable Rolls were crisp and delicious - but on the greasy side. The House Chinese Mustard was good. The Kung Pao Chicken is served with a lot of celery. I could not detect any heat - even though I specified extra spicy. I would have like to see some broccoli, onions, scallions in the dish. There was also a good bit of oily residue in the bottom of the to-go container. The lady taking my order was very nice. Paid with Apple Pay. #MingsCafe

General Tso's Chicken Pork Dumplings
Ruffa S.

Delicious food with great service from staff! We got the General tso's chicken and pork soup dumplings. The chicken was so fresh! Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. 10/10 would recommend :)

Mongolian beef after I ate all the beef and a ton of onions. Almost full still and it's all onions!

Just meh. Had high hopes based on reviews. Food was boring, nothing special. Minimal taste. Ordered Mongolian beef and it was 97% onions and barely any beef

General Tso chicken - comes with a side of white rice
Grace W.

The service was super friendly and the food was good! The restaurant seems more catered towards takeout versus dine in (only 3 tables, no real plates or silverware). We got the kung pao chicken and the general tso chicken. The portions are generous as well! I will be back :)

This was THE ABSOLUTE WORST Chinese food ever. The hibachi chicken looked boiled and not grilled…read more No flavor at all. Since moving to Manassas I realized that there are no good Chinese restaurants here. Just yuck

We've been on the hunt for good Chinese food in Manassas for years and have always come up…read moredisappointed in three areas - freshness, spring rolls, and texture. Friends recommended Lin's and I'm pleased to say this may be our go to! We ordered online and picked it up on a Sunday evening and there were several folks dining in at the time which is great to see. The inside was very clean with all the sauces and utensils/chopsticks available to grab when you pick up the order. They had a hot sauce which we liked. We ordered general Tsos, hunan chicken, Taiwan rice noodles and vegetable rolls. Both the general tsos and hunan came with small containers of white rice. The veggie rolls were just spring rolls with cabbage but the shell was crispy and the cabbage still held up.. no mushy insides. The general tsos chicken was all white meat and good texture, but a bit lacking in spice. When we order again we will ask for more spice. Similarly the hunan chicken had a pepper next to it on the menu but had very little spice, but was redeemed by the number of fresh veggies. The squash in it was amazing! The noodles were not greasy, had good flavor and came with a good amount of chicken, beef and shrimp. The lack of grease and oil was very refreshing and will definitely have us ordering again! Someone dining in had a mountain of fried rice that looked and smelled amazing so will be trying that next.
