My wife had sushi (she's particular about her sushi) and she said this was the best she's had in a long time. She said you could tell it was fresh. She was particularly impressed that the volcano roll actually looked like a volcano and had shredded crab and all on top of the actual sushi rolls. She must have enjoyed it, because walked up to the sushi bar and complimented the sushi chef. Kobe has two dining options, you can choose to do the hibachi style with the chef preparing your food in front of you or you can choose the "dine in" option. We chose to "dine in" and were seated on the right side of the restaurant. The hibachi tables are all on the left side. Kobe is a nice, clean place. You can tell they take pride in the restaurant. My wife enjoyed that each table has its own little lamp. Our waitress told us they are a small business, not part of some chain. They also order their fish and other stuff for the sushi bar every other day to ensure freshness.
