I hate dealing with home repairs because so many companies take advantage of women, but that was not the case with Best Appliance Service. Vlad spent over an hour diagnosing the issue and could have easily pushed a costly repair. Instead, he recommended just buying a brand new washer based on what it would cost for him to fix it. He even fixed my microwave door, charged only the diagnostic fee, and followed up by sending links to washer recommendations. Finding a trustworthy business in 2026 is rare, but Vlad was honest, kind, and professional. He communicated clearly and truly went above and beyond. Monday at 10:30 am the same guy shows up to do the repairs. Of course the fridge was still plugged in and not dried out. I was about to unplug the fridge when he stopped me and said "no need." No need? You're going to work on electrical wires with the fridge still plugged into the wall? Then, he plugged his equipment in and blew a fuse in the kitchen. I said, "you probably blew a fuse I just have to find the box" (we just moved in). And he keeps repeating in broken English "why power no work, I can't fix with no power." The guy repairs appliances and he didn't know what fuses and a fuse box are. I swear I have never seen such an incompetent difunctional repair service in my life. How are they still in business? Unbelievable. If I could give them negative stars I would. For the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks I have had to cancel on clients and rearrange my entire schedule because of these morons who can't manage a schedule and don't even know that you're supposed to unplug equipment before tampering with wires. I'm beyond appalled. And if I call to complain I'll get a mouth full of excuses from the manager and no apology. Nothing. How do places like this stay in business?
