    Pretty view from our room
    Rayshelys B.

We stayed here for a weekend wedding! The good: no bugs, which is always a relief, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Also, they had plenty of activities for the kids, not including the pool! Unfortunately, the service was pretty slow -- checking in took longer than expected, and it was a bit of a wait for housekeeping. The room itself was decent but nothing special. Overall, it did the job for the occasion, but I wouldn't choose this hotel for a leisure stay. If you're just looking for a place to crash and don't mind a bit of a wait, it's fine, but not somewhere I'd recommend otherwise..

Let me be crystal clear, Minerals Hotel is the place to be for families! Pool & Jacuzzis a little bigger & warmer!! The grotto is amazing & the night swimming is spectacular with all the leds lighting up the area!!! Kids can also enjoy sports, rock climbing & arcade area!!!

we are having my daughters wedding here in 2027. the day we went and signed contract the venue treated 7 of us to an amazing lunch with top notch service . they went above and beyond for us, so im certain that the upcoming wedding will be amazing. the catering department is very attentive to emails with questions ive had so far. looking forward to an amazing time. also, when we were there both times during this booking process, the resort itself was lively and had people using all the amenities ;the indoor pools, the gym, workout room, skeet shooting. highly recommend for a getaway as well

I enjoyed my two days at minerals. Full disclosure I was there for business meetings and did not pay. Parking is plentiful and free. The room was large and clean, included a patio with the view of the mountain. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The room had a coffee maker, bottled water and coffee pods. I was disappointed that the bottled water was not replaced on day 2. I had a few meals, catered dinner and breakfast. The food was above my expectations. The hotel includes a huge indoor and outdoor pool that was open in October. The gym was larger than expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. I may consider going back for a long weekend as there are several golf courses in the area.

Always a five star experience here they take care of you from the second. You walk into the second you leave I love doing tastings here the people here love trying what I have to offer every time I'm here not to mention. The facility is breathtaking views everywhere and always something to enjoy.

Love this place!! My membership allows me gym and classes and access to pools all year. Sometimes too crowded with families. But overall great experience. Would benefit from having the outside pool area power washed so that in the summer when people are in the pool area walking barefoot your not getting your soles dirty and they going into the pool. Concrete looks like it's never been cleaned so do lounge chairs. Need power wash outside overall. But fun nice place.

We recently were displaced due to a house fire and had the pleasure of staying at minerals for 2 weeks while we couldn't stay in our home. The staff was so amazing and treated us like family that I I would like to mention them by name and all that they did for us. At the front desk there was Blake, Christian, Mia, Selena, Jacob, Raymond and each one of these people and I'm sure there's other names I'm missing took care of us and helped us with everything we need it the entire say we were there. And I apologize for the people whose names I didn't get, but the people that said above treated us like family and went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to helping us out. It was an awful time for us and they made it wonderful thank you for that. Then the dining staff who were amazing Jamie the omelet guy, Lucy Beth and Rose all were fantastic why we were eating and they were taking care of us. I can go for hours and hours talking about how wonderful these people are, they made our life just wonderful when we had to go eat. No unfortunately I didn't get the names of the people that were working as lifeguards and working down at the pool where they that us towels (the woman with the white/blonde hair and the younger men that work down there, I'm so sorry for not getting your names but you all were wonderful) and down by the arcade and I apologize for not getting their name but they should be recognized as well. They were constantly doing us favors, taking care of us and overall treating us as if we were family why we stayed there. Overall just wonderful people. Then the bartenders Jason Alex and Kristen were amazing as well and they should be recognized. The stuff that was working at the little restaurant outside by the bar I didn't get their name either but they were fantastic as well. Overall it was just really refreshing to be in an awful situation and everybody was fighting us we were constantly losing our rooms due to the insurance company they weren't paying on time, and still they're Staffing minerals did everything in their power to take care of us and make our lives easier. And for that I cannot thank them enough Just a quick update Mike, I went back to minerals and got the some of the other names of the amazing employees that you should mention aswell - Cheryl, Conner, Zoey, Maya and Amanda all were extremely kind and helpful during our stay. Thank you everyone. Mike Not sure how to contact you any other way besides editing this post but I just want to thank you and your staff very much for everything they did and I know I missed a few names but you should be very proud of your entire staff and basically every single person should be included by name on this post, I just wasn't able to get everyone's name, because every single person we encountered at minerals made our life easier and brighten our day at the same time.

highly recommend the elder flower cocktail - delicious!!

very nice place- the front desk gets overwhelmed easily and there aren't too many people to ask about what read to be pretty cool activities for families like scavenger hunt and rock-climbing wall

Considering a 2 night stay here with my wife and kid just to get away. I'm feeling like a decent hotel with a nice indoor pool will make me happy. But a lot of the photos seem to suggest faded glory. Is this place worth it?

No, dump. Everything is broken and management doesn't care. As of today one hot tub is open and not hot. The steam room is closed. The gym wifi goes in and out. Cold plunge isn't cold.

My family stayed at The Appalachian for a quick visit over Father's Day weekend. Located at Mountain Creek, it's surrounded by activities like mountain biking, trails, slopes, and a water park. We were drawn to the area for the NJ Beer and Food Festival held at Crystal Springs Resort. Initially, we aimed for a room at CSR, but at over $620 per night, it was too costly. So, I searched on Expedia and found a studio condo listed at half the price. The listing was titled "Serenity Now" - Sunsets Mtn Creek Ski Resort Remodeled Fireplace WIFI. We ended up in Appa unit #361, hosted by Gerry, who was very communicative via email and responsive via text. We were pleased with the studio's condition. It featured a fully stocked kitchenette and a bathroom with limited toiletries. A parking pass for the underground garage was included, which was convenient. The only downside was that my allergies flared up during our stay. Initially, I suspected the AC filter, but upon inspecting further, I found pet hair on the blanket underneath the comforter, suggesting someone had violated the no-pets policy before our arrival. Despite this, it was an overall pleasant stay. Although my kids didn't use the pool on-site, it looked inviting. I would consider visiting again and booking Gerry's unit. Compared to some negative reviews, it appears Gerry maintains his unit better than other condo owners.

On New Years Day I called and thought I was going to have a resolution. The person on the phone told me they would call their manager and get back to me in 15 minutes. An hour later I heard nothing. I called back and was told by the same person that the manager stated I needed to call whoever I made the reservation with. I couldn't call Quality Inn New Years Day, so I called the next day. After 10 minutes on hold with the rewards Service Center, I was told I needed to contact the hotel for any refund. I could also try calling Customer Relations. I then called Custome Relations and after 15 minutes on hold I finally got someone to lodge a formal complaint. They also informed me that the Christmas Day reservation had been entered in by the General Manager based on a phone call but no name was associated with the phone call. The first time I ever called this hotel was after I had been charged for a night not staying there. Customer Relations told me the hotel had 72 hours to contact me and resolve the situation. This is the only positive part of the story. Thirty minutes later I received a call from Barbara and she said she would be entering in a refund today. The next day I looked at my credit card account on line and there was NO refund, so I guess there really is no positive part after all...
