I told them over the phone I have VSP. They went ahead and scheduled my appointment without saying a word. I went in for the exam. That went very well. I got to the checkout and it cost $90. I thought that was odd but paid it and went home to check my benefits on VSP website. Everything I looked at said I should've only paid $25. I called the office. She looked at it again and verified she charged me correctly. She was clearly looking at a different set of benefits than me. I called VSP for clarification and VSP confirmed WALMART IS OUT OF NETWORK. Really? Then why does Walmart have a huge sign out front that says they accept VSP?! So now I am out $65 which is quite a significant amount to me. I realize it's my responsibility to check who is in network for me. But I chalk this up to poor customer service. How could you let someone use services without even letting them know? Never going back.

I'm so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Grosset. She's not only the most knowledgeable Dr. I've been to, she takes time to talk to you and explain what is going on with your eyes and how to get back on the path to eye health. I'm completely impressed with Dr. Grosset and would give her 10 stars if I could. She's caring, highly experienced, extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and a very nice person. I learned so much about eye health in just one visit it was amazing. I wished there were more Doctors like her. She doesn't assembly line her patients like so many other Doctors. I highly recommend Dr Grosset to anyone in need of eye care. She's a true gem!

I had an extremely frustrating experience with their optical dept. I ordered a pair of glasses but…read morewhen I tried them on, they were markedly crooked and ill-fitting. I had tried the same frames on in-store and they had fit perfectly. These, however, were way off. When I explained this to the fitter, my concerns were completely ignored. I was told my face was "asymmetrical". While that may be true, I have worn glasses since childhood and am not manifestly deformed in any significant way. This ridiculous clerk continued to tell me that the lenses had deformed the frames so this was how they were supposed to fit. I've bought $5 readers from COSTCO that fit better. After a few rounds of further gaslighting, I gave up. No offer to adjust the frames was made. No other solution was offered. No real customer service was offered. The "manager" was of zero help, except to walk me to the counter to refund my money. Just a complete waste of time. It's a shame because Dr. Rose is lovely and as good as they come but the optical dept is a tire fire. Avoid at all costs.
