My chapter decided that an escape room would be perfect for bonding. We found groupons for this one, so we went with it, and it was only $16.50 per person. To our surprise, it was a house. It was so cool. It was cool (cold) when we were waiting. The stairs to go to the room were a little weird but it made it even more cool. The clues were amazing! We were so close and every time we asked for a clue, it was something we figured out but just didn't know how to do to get the next part we needed. I do like that they don't actually lock you in the room. If you need to leave for any reason, you actually can. We got as many clues as needed, and finished with 3 minutes to spare! Me and my boyfriend have been looking for an escape room for a while, and we finally found this one. It was located in a very sketchy area in what looked to be an old frat house. When you walk in, there is no direction on where to go. There is just a bunch of random rooms and a staircase. We walked around and almost left before a young girl asked us if we were there too do an escape room. She took us upstairs and there were multiple rooms. The room we did was the Sherlock Holmes themed one and one of the locks was busted so we spent about 20 minutes wasting our time on it. Two different girls had to come in and try to fix it, but they were not able to. It really messed us up because it was literally the first thing needed to start us off. They did give us like 10 minutes of extra time, but at that point we were already so confused that it didn't help. It was also 60 bucks for the two of us so I feel like it is very overpriced for junkie rooms and poor atmosphere:( read more

This was the worst escape room out of the 17 we have done. Old furniture from a yard sale, worn out props, unlinked clues...An escape room lover's worst nightmare. read more

This is my first escape room and it was amazingly fun! I went with my friends and kids, and it was surprisingly pleasant. The location is a home so it gave a unique feeling to the story of the escape room. The staff and owner Gary was super pleasant to work with and very accommodating. We tried the Heist which was said to be hardest. We didn't make it out in time even with the extra 10 minutes but we had so much fun trying to figure things out. We did the heist and really enjoyed it! It was one large room with a variety of clues ranging from medium to hard difficulty. The staff was was very friendly, helpful and kind! We look forward to doing the other rooms. read more

Took 3 generations of my family here. We had a BLAST. It was great seeing every work together and the laughter was uncontrollable. Definitely a great place for a family outing. read more

This was my first escape room experience and I loved it! We did the Sherlock room, and it was delightfully challenging. In fact, we failed to escape! But the host was attentive, helpful and super friendly. We all really enjoyed this experience and will be back to try the other rooms soon! read more

The owner really bent over backwards to accommodate us and the game was wonderful. If you haven't been, THIS IS SO MUCH FUN. The game was so engaging and we spent a lot of time working together on creative clues and puzzles. Plus, our game master was so friendly, quick to help, and responsive to questions at the end. Great idea to set up breakout rooms in this lovely old house. We enjoyed our visit, the staff is friendly and helpful and the room had challenging puzzles. We will return to try some of the other rooms. read more

We did the experiment room. I felt entirely clueless. The room was very hot. We waited too long for clues which caused us to spend too much time on certain things. Once we did get the vocal clues we couldnt hear well. I want to experience all the escape room places but will probably not go back to this one. read more

I'm always excited to try new escape room venues so when this one opened up I had to check it out. While the experience wasn't all bad, our group left very disappointed. The venue itself is very unique - it's in an old house and the hallways have tons of cool art. The staff was very nice but the room and puzzles left a lot to desired. The room we tried out felt like an escape room that was created when escape rooms just started out many years ago. The theming was poorly connected and the room itself was extremely basic - think a teenagers bedroom with some random furniture thrown in. If you have completed escape rooms before, I would recommend trying a different venue. But the main reason I have to give such a low review is that a few of the clues were defective. One had been used so much that the "trick" no longer worked and another couldn't be used too much or else it wouldn't work the rest of the game. We were able to get around a few of these with some guessing but it was crazy to us that the staff didn't replace these props (especially for how low budget they were) when they realized they started to get worn down/ineffective. Modern day escape rooms should not have this problem and could easily frustrate new or veteran players. If you're looking for a new escape room in Greensboro, I wouldn't recommend this one. It seems like they are just good at SEO and most of their budget is spent on online marketing instead of puzzles. read more
