It was a relatively short walk with a lot of stops and long pauses to talk. Because it was cold I probably would've preferred a little more walking. It would have been really cool to be able to go inside some of the buildings on the tour instead of just looking from the outside. Another thing that might've helped is for the guide to have printed out pictures of the places or people he talked about to help us all visualize the stories. He did show us a couple pictures on his phone, but I feel like I could've used more. The guide was knowledgeable in answering everyone's questions and he was very friendly. If your spouse is deployed or TDY, you cannot use your dependent ID to claim the advertised BOGO tickets. Additionally, the attraction does not recognize Gold Star families, which was especially disheartening after my friend--who lost her loved one in active duty--was also turned away. I strongly encourage management to reconsider this policy, as these families have made profound sacrifices and deserve recognition. We attended on opening night and waited approximately three hours in line. While some wait time is expected, better organization could greatly improve the experience. There were fun moments--music, light interaction, and themed characters--but compared to a competitor we visited the night before (which featured a full fall festival and concert guests could enjoy while waiting), the overall setup here felt less engaging and far less efficient. There was also a bar halfway through the line, but guests were not informed during ticketing that a green wristband was required to purchase drinks. After standing in line for hours, many people were understandably frustrated when they discovered this too late. Clearer communication would easily fix this issue. The "Bates Motel" and "Camp Crystal Lake" sets were the standout features in terms of design and atmosphere. However, the actor performances lacked coordination and consistency--several repeated the same handful of lines, and some of the scariest characters weren't even in their designated themed areas. One performer in particular, a female clown with black and white hair, blew an air horn directly into my mother's and my ears at close range, causing immediate ringing and a migraine that lingered for hours. That kind of proximity-based scare tactic poses legitimate safety concerns and should be addressed immediately. Furthermore, the terrain was uneven and poorly lit, with unexpected drops and steps that posed a hazard, especially for elderly guests. Adding proper signage, lighting, or a simple warning at the entrance would help prevent potential injuries. Overall, while there were moments of entertainment and strong visual effects, the experience did not align with the ticket price or expectations.

The atmosphere is unlike any other haunted attraction I have been to. As soon as you enter the property the tone for a haunted adventure is immediately set and it feels like you just walked into Halloween Town. The DJ and club spooky with the music and all the lights as you wait in line is such a fun experience but we highly recommend the VIP/Immediate Access tickets if you want to skip the line because the wait times are normally 1-2 hours for general. It's well worth the extra $20. They change it up so it's a new experience every year but every time I promise you will literally feel like you were dragged into a horror movie with their top tier scenic design, costumes, makeup, props, and insane special effects. You can tell how much effort and detail is put in and how much the owner Tony and his team care about making it A+ quality. They are active on their socials and post behind the scenes stuff sometimes so give them a follow. Also check the website before you go if it's your first time especially the FAQ section. They allow small purses. For safety you go through security and a metal detector when you first enter. They will check your bag and you will empty your pockets. Smoking of any kind is not allowed on the property. They recommended arriving a half hour early to make time for traffic, parking, and getting settled in. They have nice bathrooms so definitely go before you get in line because all they have in line is a porta potty and the attraction itself normally lasts a little over an hour. They have scare actors roaming around to interact with guests and take pictures. They also take a group picture before you enter the attraction and they are available to purchase after. They are always good quality photos! They have a few grab and go concession options where you can get fudge, candied nuts, funnel cakes, soft pretzels, popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, chicken tenders, etc. I think the must try is the apple cider donuts. They are so delicious! They also serve alcohol. Grab a 21+ band when you first enter to purchase. Kersey Valley also does other attractions during the day. We have only been to the pumpkin patch and corn maze but they have so much more! Check them out! You won't regret it!

Just kinda shuffling through, but is definitely better than nothing. There was no need for the VIP fast pass thing when we went, because there was no line anyway. We paid $160 for 3 people, and drove 3 hours. Probably wouldn't have done that. If it was like 30 mins away, I'd probably have done it happily, if we didn't buy the VIP passes and stuff it would have been like $75.

I had the pleasure of speaking with a scare actor dressed as a witch while waiting to enter the trail and this person did a phenomenal job. Once my family members and I embarked on our journey via the haunted trail we were startled by all kinds of scare actors in various sets from houses, slides, psychedelic tunnels, busses, cornfields, and plenty of scare actors chasing us with chain saws. Plenty of jump scares, but overall I did way better than I expected. Be prepared though to walk what felt like a mile or more. Also the fact there were so many different options to go through made the experience even greater. One character scared someone that she fell on the ground but the character then helped her up which was sweet. The security and staff in general through the whole experience were sweet and you knew they enjoyed what they did. I think at first I thought the tickets seemed expensive, but after going through the experience, the price was truly worth every penny. I would definitely bring my friends here in the future.
