If you want to make a group of adult professionals VERY happy and have a laugh, take them to Mad Splatter and book the splatter room! This was seriously SO fun. I've done it another time before with a smaller group and enjoyed it both times. With a larger group, it's even more fun. A few tips: -Try to bring a group that you can share a larger canvas with. The smaller canvases are cute but after about 10-15 minutes are done. The larger canvases take longer and leave more room for creativity! Think of a piece you can hang in your shared office suite! -Dress in older clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Even with the suit, you can expect to get some paint on your clothes and shoes. -Dress coolly if you can. The room gets really hot with so many people and the suit/glasses! -Maybe upgrade for more add ons. We were finished pretty quickly but may have done more with more add-ons. It really is a great, unique experience. We laughed the entire time and enjoyed painting each other after our canvases. A super cool time for all age groups! The experience last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. You get to choose the music you listen to in your room and just have a blast with slinging paint, being creative, laughing and building memories. I would say if you have a group it's makes the experience even more funds it can be cool for 2-3 people but have a large group makes it more exciting. You also have the option to paint all types of pottery afterwards. You definitely leave with paint on you so not the place to dress to impress. Love, love, love The Mad Splatter!! I am 62 years old and I am hooked. I love to paint the pottery, but you can also go to the splatter rooms and have a blast. You can also paint on canvas. So I was first introduced to The Mad Splatter when I took a young lady I was overseeing there. The staff is young, helpful and they explain exactly how everything works. There is a wall of raw, unpainted pottery that you select the shape you would like to paint from. I chose a simple bowl. Next is a wall of tiles hung in coordination to each color you can use. They show you the gradation of how deep you can reach your color depending on how many applications you do. They hand you a pack of brushes and then your off. You get charge by the piece you select and the studio time. When you are finished painting your piece, it is kept and fired in their kilns. They call you when your piece has been fired and ready to pick up. This may take several days. I can't tell you the feeling I had when I saw how cute my bowl came out. I was surprised I liked it so much, but mostly I couldn't wait to come back and create more pieces for myself! It's a great way to spend an afternoon, a rainy day or a birthday. Attended a child's birthday party and made me want to go back with my children and with friends! They have so many a so many ceramic options to choose from. They have three different sized splatter rooms ranging from 2 to 4 people up to 20. The large room can be reserved for a smaller group and has black lights making for a more interesting experience. the staff was very friendly and patient with the children while another staff member gave me a tour and explained all they had to offer. I have wanted to come to the Mad Splatter and enjoy the Splatter Zone for a while. Just seemed like a fun way to be creative, and let off some steam by throwing paint around like a kid a bit. So I told my friends this is what I wanted to do for my 36th birthday and we did. It was super easy to reserve online, just pick a date and how many people are coming. You have to pay $10 per person to hold the spot. There are some extras you can buy. I went for the glow in the dark glasses for everyone, but honestly don't think they were needed to achieve the effect. They have 3 room sizes available (small, medium, and large) depending on how many people are in your group. I went for the medium room with 8 people. Each person does have to purchase a canvas on the day of. You can get individual sizes or a larger size to share with others in your party. We decided to buy two sets of the (3) 10x20s and then just let everyone splatter on all of them while in the room. I liked this approach as it felt like all of the canvass were the creation of mine and my friends. I have to say the highlight was us all trying to put on the suits and seeing how we looked on mice dressed. Seems they come one size fits all so looking at my husband so is 6"4' and friend who is 4"11' in the same suit side by side was hilarious! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The employee who was helping us get set up in the room was very nice and patient with us and our shenanigans. After laying down some easy ground rules we truly just got to let loose. You can paint on the canvas, the walls, ceiling, each other, basically everything but the door. They give you assortment of paint colors (we did glow in the dark option), brushes, and tools. You get to pick whatever music you want to listen to while you paint. I went for a 90s playlist, would say it could of been a little louder. They have a button you can push if you need any assistance and always came quickly whenever we pushed it. We had a great time and the amount of time you get in the room is honestly plenty. Clean up was also a breeze as the paint came off very easily. To top it all off, I got some great photos of our group before hand the staff took and you can bring your phone inside and take picture during if you want it (and ok with risking a little paint on it). Totally worth it. The canvas does look quite different outside of the glow in the dark room, which was kinda cool. On thing to note, you have to take the canvas that day and they will still be wet, so make sure you have a safe place/way to transport in your car. Highly recommend the Splatter Zone, but they gave us a tour of the facility and they have so much more. You can do canvas or pottery painting. Saw kids and adults alike enjoying. My boyfriend took me here as a surprise for my birthday and we had a nice time! The place itself is nice and clean with a modern design and very organized. Even though we were there for the paint splatter room, the staff member walked us around to show us what else they had to offer. Their specials are also great deals and opportunities so I would highlight that during the walk-around as well. For paint splatter rooms, you can book the room in advance for a reasonable fee and then you pay again based on the canvas size that you use, which I also thought was reasonable. They also offer different add-ons like glow in the dark glasses, additional paint, a new paint suit (instead of used), paint gun squirters, etc. The suits are WAY too big. They are made for someone who's 7 feet tall and 300 pounds. I understand that it's more cost-effective to have one size for all but perhaps consider something that's a little more average and have the XXXL sizes as options. It wasn't too hard to move around in but you looked kinda ridiculous as a penguin wobbling around with the suit lol. I loved that we could pick a spotify playlist to have music on while we painted - definitely made the vibe even better and the volume was good (I appreciated that they confirmed if it way). All of the employees were very nice and friendly and this is an activity that is truly fun for all ages. A couple things that I wish were different: - I accidentally got paint in my eye and it took more than 10 minutes for someone to respond to the button call. While it was pretty painful at first, it did go away, but thankfully there wasn't an issue that would have prevented us from continuing. - Be aware that you need to take your painting home during business hours that day (especially if you're getting a large canvas). It would be nice to offer to hold them, or at least larger canvasses, for even 1 or 2 days so that it can dry before you have to put it in your car (potentially on non-flat surface where the paint would run) - The guns are a fun idea but they make your canvas super watery and drippy. Wondering if this could be a little thicker. All in all, I would totally recommend this place and would love to go back to try some of their other activities! read more

Overall they have good service and wonderful vibes but they forgot to tell us that they don't keep the splatter room canvases over night unless we signed something. so when we came back for our ceramic stuff some time later they have already thrown out our canvas we paid 60 dollars for, and that was an add on to our experience. So if you do both activities and its busy they will forget to tell you that they don't hold the canvas and will throw it out while you believe that it's being kept together with the ceramics. My daughter and myself visited here a few weeks ago to spend mother/ daughter time and make memories that we can look back and cherish later in life . Went to pick up our cherished pottery memories and they had given hers to another person. They wasn't forth coming with feeling remorse about what had happened or even refunding the money till my daughter asked . It's all about the memories and time you share while there . Needless to say when I or we look at my particular piece the only memories will be of sheer frustration!! This was a horrible experience!! I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night. The slots go fast, so we were lucky to get a reservation! They held a deposit of $10 per person ahead of time. I like that the business had a private parking lot, friendly staff, applepay available, multiple activity options, and good looking facilities. Our time slot was for an hour. I didn't like that they actually include time to get dressed and checked in for that one hour so the actual activity time is minimal. We chose to do the paint room. We dressed up in full coverage suits, chose our canvases, were offered paint, were able to choose our music, and splattered paint on each other and the canvasses and walls. We didn't get much paint and it would have cost more to get more paint so ultimately it wasn't that fun or exciting. We didn't even end up needing a whole hour. We were paid and out there door 52 minutes after our initial time slot. It's a cute business idea and I'm glad we tried it but it's not something I would do again. If I were to come back, I think I'd paint ceramics instead. read more

My granddaughters and I came to make a plate and bowl. After we were finished, we were told they could not fire it. The whole purpose was to make something we could eat off of. We were told we used the wrongs paints. Nobody explained to us we were supposed to use a certain paint. They would not help in any way. This place is located in a great area surrounded by a few restaurants, coffee shop, and nail salon. We were immediately greeted when we walked through the door and asked what we would like to do. The girl quickly gave us a tour of the entire place, explaining that they had just moved into a larger location that gives artists more room to do the activities that they offer. There's the room for their kiln, party room, class room where they offer step by step painting classes (great activity to do with someone!), splatter room, and the large room where you can paint your pottery! They have a LARGE selection of pottery to choose from. You pick out what you would like to paint, bring it up to the counter, and they take your information and start your timer for how long you will be there. They charge $5/hr + the price of your pottery. -**this is why I'm rating it 3 stars. I didn't like this type of extra charge. I go to these kinds of places to relax and relieve my anxiety, not be stressed out and feel like I have to paint fast so that I don't rake up a large bill. It really made me not have a good experience because I felt like I was rushed and had to be in a hurry. All of the other pottery places I've been to do not charge this type of extra money per hour and let you relax and take your time to create and be fully satisfied with your painted pottery! I'm an extremely stressed out, anxious person, so this didn't sit well with me. The girls that worked there seemed pleasant, and helped me out with any questions I had or things that we needed. The pottery was ready to pick up within the week as well. We went in on a Sunday and got our pottery on a Thursday. The only other thing that was different from any other paint-your-own-pottery places I've been to was that they don't ship it to your house if you live out of state. A lot of people I know like to do these types of things while they're on vacation. However with this specific place, they'd be unable to pick it up the following week because they'd be back in their home state. Besides the setbacks of the extra charge per hour and not shipping it to your address if you're out of state, this place is very clean and organized. The staff is pleasant to work with, and help you out with anything you have questions on. They have music playing while you paint, and come up to your table to make sure you have everything you need. It's neat that they have a private room for paint parties with fun themes and all the supplies available for you as well. The painting classes, which I highly suggest for anyone to do, are always fun anywhere you go. They go step by step, and at a slow pace -easy for you to socialize and have fun, while keeping up with the teacher. I visited Mad Splatter with my family. It was a unique and fun experience. I like the black lights which made everything glow in the dark and the option to choose music. They sent us pictures after our experience which was a nice touch. I don't think I will be back due to the cost. It could get very pricey here as they have add-on things when you go in the room to make your experience more fun. We did not choose any of the add on because the cost was already very high. It cost me just about $200 for an hour of fun for my family of 5 in a mad splatter room. We all went home with a small piece of our artwork. They charge per canvas and have a maximum amount of people per canvas. the drying was extra, the paint was extra, and if you wanted a clean smock that was extra. My family lasted 15 minutes and then ran out of paint, when we called the woman to ask about the process to pick it up, we were given 3 hours until they would throw it out. Even though we had to reschedule, she was so kind to give us out little valentine treat bag with our name on it. So glad we got to experience this place. Looks small from the outside but very spacious. The staff were very friendly, informative, and social distancing as much as you can. They wore facemasks for everyones protection. Mad Splatter was very fun. We didnt really need the entire hour time slot. My son said they should add more colors such as black and brown (he wanted a particular theme). We were able to leave our canvases there overnight to dry. We are definitely going back soon for pottery and canvas painting.
