Where this place really wins is the quiet room, amenities, and staff. I like a bit of time between services, that quiet room is cozy, with tea and little snacks, it's truly lovely. This place feels like they have an Army of staff, constantly checking the locker rooms and quiet room, cleaning up after guests. Everything was so clean. I will spare the internet from my personal dramas, but I also had a family emergency the day of my service. My husband had called the spa to pull me out of my massage. It was 30 minutes into my first service, and I had to cancel my whole day. The staff were more than professional, they were genuinely caring and kind to me as I was crying, they were even going to drive me to the hospital. Later that afternoon I called back, believe it or not they were able to get me rebooked with some differences, before the end of my vacation. At that point, I informed her that I never received any calls at all either on my cell or home number and there were absolutely NO messages left on either. The receptionist was a bit snippy with me. I had the appointment card with me for the 7/17 date and time on it , held it up and showed her and then she insisted that someone called. I told her if they had, it wasn't my number they called. Anyway, I said I did not want to get into a further discussion and that I would get back to them if I wanted to reschedule. The receptionist at the desk was rude, never once apologized or said that they were sorry for the 'so-called mix up'. She was very uncaring and dismissive. I was shocked that she had no compassion at all and just wanted to get out of that office. Thinking it over on my way home, I made the decision not to go back to them and change to a new Dermatologist which I did. I notified them several times via text and then called them to inform them I was no longer going back to them. I finally received 3 calls back for a couple of different reasons and never once was asked why I was leaving nor apologize for the appointment mixup. I absolutely will not recommend Skin Wellness at all. My suggestion is that the front desk receptionists, etc, all get professional customer service training.
