I spent $300 on products and $165 on the facial and my daughter's skin looks terrible! My question is why didn't Maricia offer a trial kit which they sell online and see what would work? I found Marcia by emailing Face Reality because my usual esthetician is based in LA. It was easy to book an appointment with her over the phone. I didn't have to give all this extra info just to book. It's so annoying when they ask for all that. Her practice is inside a dermatologist clinic inside an office building, so it's very convenient. Parking was ample and free. Marcia was extremely caring and thorough with everything. She gave me some additional tips on after-care and said I could reach out to her at any time for any help. She answered all the questions I had and explained things very well, something I don't usually get from my other esthetician, which might be because of a language barrier but that's ok. Marcia started off my "maintenance" acne boot camp facial with a cleanse and thorough exfoliation and minor extraction. She did a cocoa enzyme mask and peel too. Then she did some sort of electric zappy thing to help kill the bacteria in my skin. I forgot what it was called! At the very end she gave me an LED treatment. She performed some other things too but I don't know or remember what it was. Lol All of this was about one hour and cost about $120. Products were separate obviously. Skin care routines can be tough especially searching for the right products to use. There are so many product lines and when you're desperate, you try anything. My skin was acting up for years and I almost gave up, but I told God that I would try again and be consistent on my end and let him do the rest. I wanted my skin to for once thrive. I was a little apprehensive because I am African American but if you know your stuff, then color doesn't matter.
