I have seen her for medical dermatology concerns as well as cosmetic treatments, and in both areas her expertise has been outstanding. Her recommendations are always personalized and spot on. Through her expertise, I've seen a significant improvement in my skin and feel very confident with her recommendations. She takes the time to listen and explain options clearly. Her nurses Blair and Camille were friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. She has also cared for my son, providing exceptional scar management after an injury. I have always had a good experience with Dr. Anne Tremaine. This YELP report is not about her. It is, however, about some of the administrative support at the front desk. I had an appointment scheduled for 7/17. When I arrived at the office to check in, the woman at the desk seemed to be fumbling around. After a few minutes she proceeded to tell me that they had no appointment for me that day and that someone called me to change the appointment for the 23rd. At that point, I informed her that I never received any calls at all either on my cell or home number and there were absolutely NO messages left on either. The receptionist was a bit snippy with me. I had the appointment card with me for the 7/17 date and time on it , held it up and showed her and then she insisted that someone called. I told her if they had, it wasn't my number they called. Anyway, I said I did not want to get into a further discussion and that I would get back to them if I wanted to reschedule. The receptionist at the desk was rude, never once apologized or said that they were sorry for the 'so-called mix up'. She was very uncaring and dismissive. I was shocked that she had no compassion at all and just wanted to get out of that office. Thinking it over on my way home, I made the decision not to go back to them and change to a new Dermatologist which I did. I notified them several times via text and then called them to inform them I was no longer going back to them. I finally received 3 calls back for a couple of different reasons and never once was asked why I was leaving nor apologize for the appointment mixup. I absolutely will not recommend Skin Wellness at all. My suggestion is that the front desk receptionists, etc, all get professional customer service training. read more

A year ago, without any kind of explanation, you scheduled an appointment for this year without informing me that if I didn't confirm, I would have to pay $50. I recently took a fall at home during the evening that required ambulance transport to the local hospital for a deep laceration and concussion where I received facial stitches by the ER physician and was instructed to follow up with my personal physician to remove the stitches and check the scar for any needed repair. I contacted my dermatologist office of Dr. Daniel Wasserman, Skin Wellness located on Goodlette Frank Road in Naples. I have been a patient of Dr. Wasserman's for 10+ years and had semi annual skin checks, several procedures and facials done by either him or his staff. I was shocked when I called for an appointment and was told they would not see me and that I should go to a walk-in clinic for follow up. The last thing I wanted at this point was to see a stranger, I wanted to see my doctor and have him look at the scarring since it was facial and proper healing was extremely important. The staff made me feel like I was unimportant and a disruption to their day. They were rude and uncaring and very dismissive. Needless to say I am changing dermatologist! read more

Renee Deneweth is fantastic, as are Dr. Wasserman and Dr. Tremaine. Unfortunately Ms. Deneweth's supervisor is Vivian Wong. You do NOT want to see her under any circumstances. I was supposed to have Mohs surgery with her and after research, finding she had a one star review, I went elsewhere. I met Vivian Wong on my first visit to Skin Wellness in 2020 and then worked only with Ms. Deneweth. I recently had a massive outbreak of eczema and requested Hydroxyzine. Ms. Deneweth is out of the country so it went to Vivian Wong. Her advice was zyrtec in the am and benadril in the pm. Obviously it didn't work. I hope Renee finds another dermatologist to work with, I will not return. read more

Lacking integrity Took my money and didn't care that there were zero results! I made a point to show them and relay my considerable disappointment. Dr Tremaine was rude and basically said it was my fault for not getting an additional procedure also done. No concessions, no apology, nothing. I have been seeing Dr Wong and Lily the esthetician for approximately four years. Impressed with the facility I see Dr Wong on a quarterly basis for Botox and examinations and Lily for monthly facials and laser treatments. . Happy with the results. My only complaint would be that I wish someone would answer the phones..always have to leave a message which is annoying. read more

Went in October for a spot on my shoulder that I was concerned about. I saw a PA. I explained to her that this spot showed up about 3 years ago and it has gotten bigger. She said she would have to remove the spot and do stitches and that most people just say it's gotten bigger so they can get it removed. She said this spot is nothing to worry about and asked if I'm sure it's gotten bigger. I left because it felt like she was insinuating that I'm lying about the spot getting bigger just to have it removed so that it will look better. Will be going somewhere else. read more

Dr Wasserman is one of the most rude, egotistical, and just plain may be the worse doctors I've ever been to. I had an appt and waited almost 2 hours, this is normal for him. He signs everyone a 10 minute appt time for 2 people! He never apologizes for this. He does not like to be asked questions if you don't accept his first answer, if you question him , he yells. That is another thing, he yells or raises his voice constantly to you. He agreed with me on this point. He believes he can't be wrong, just telling you how brilliant he is. I would never recommend this person to anyone as he treats people with contempt and when confronted with this, says he doesn't have time to make nice with everyone. He did not do a full body check, though that's what I was paying for. As he walked out I heard him tell the nurse that I was a bitch. read more

I saw Dr Tremaine yesterday. The office staff was busy - not unfriendly, but not friendly, either. But the medical staff was extremely friendly. And the doctor knew just what to do for my condition (I knew ahead of time, so there were no surprises) and she did so efficiently. I felt this office was capable and like offices I've been to up north (which felt rare to me, compared to other medical offices here in Naples). I came away very impressed. read more

I had originally been seen by my dermatologist up north and diagnosed with Actinic Keratosis following a biopsy. They performed a procedure but didn't get it all so I followed up here to have the remainder removed. I had my chart sent ahead of time so they would be familiar with the case. I showed up on time for the appointment. After a long wait, Dr. Wasserman's PA took a look at it and called him in to look. He glanced at it, ordered a steroid shot, and left. This might be an OK office for cosmetic concerns, but when it comes to any real pathology look elsewhere. read more

This was my yearly check up and my first bad experience. The office is not as professional or as efficient as the last time I visited. They waited until I was in an exam room, had my pre check with the nurse and in a gown before an office member came into the room and appologetically told me they do not accept my insurance (United Health Care) but I could still go ahead with the visit and submit it myself. I declined to proceed. After a great experience last year this left me feeling demeaned. I pay for my own insurance and pay all my own hefty premiums and co pays myself in a timely and responsible manner. I was a bit bewildered as they had all my insurance information many days prior to my visit. I was told they had "tried to reach me on the phone" If they did, there was no voicemail, text or email that I heard or saw explaining that they did not accept my United Health Care plan. I will find another practise that runs more efficiently. read more

My husband and I have been going to Dr Wasserman for years so we naturally followed him to his new practice. We have also recommended him to friends. He is compassionate and spends plenty of time with his patients at each visit. It was nice to see that some of the staff who worked with him at the previous practice are with him now. To me that says a lot about his integrity and professionalism. He has done numerous MOHS surgeries on me which resulted in as little discomfort and scarring as possible. In my 20 years in Naples I had been to several Dermotologists and always left dissatisfied until I met Dr. Dan Wasserman. When he started his business I called his office before he had officially opened for business. I was worried when I called his last office and they informed me that he no longer was with them. because he was without a doubt the best doctor they had their. I had to do a search on Google to find that he opened his own office and really breathed a sigh of relief when I got a number and spoke with his wife and found out when he would open. In my 85 years I have been to many but yet to find anyone as good as this Doctor. Seems like he has a real knack for catching bad spots. read more

I had an appointment at the SR#41 office. My assigned time was 10:30. I arrived at 10:17 I was called from the waiting room at 11:17. It was another ten minutes before I saw the doctor. I always arrive early for my appointments, out of respect for the office schedule. Is it to much to expect at least an explanation why it took so long to see the doctor for 8 minutes? Great experience. Brought my 20 month old son as Dr. Wasserman is one of the only dermatologists recommended for children. The office is spotless. Love the snacks and refreshments offered, juice boxes, gummies, chips etc, so great to keep the toddler busy. Wait for Dr. was short, office is state of the art and he is top notch. I have been a patient at this practice for years. It takes approximately 3 months to get an appointment and, per usual, 3 notifications will be sent to guarantee you arrive on time and keep your appointment. I did all of that. Today, I waited for 1 hour without any acknowledgment for signing in or updating forms. Because I could no longer wait, I asked to reschedule. The administrator never asked why I wanted to reschedule, did not acknowledge the amount of time I had been checked in or apologize, and told me to "have a nice day". read more

Went to the Downtown Naples location on Goodlette Frank. DO NOT go here if you suffer from acne/skin blemishes. The physicians assistant came in, talked to me for 3 minutes, didn't bother to look or feel my skin. Told me that the sole problem was me "touching my face." When I explained to her that I know not to do that and did not excessively touch my face, she brought in her superior doctor just to tell me the same thing ("the products she suggested is the best plan") and that I was the biggest problem in regards to my skin getting better. She also recommended a product that was extremely expensive & of course that their office is partnered with. I then went to my beloved OBGYN the following day and found out that not only did I not even have acne, it was a staph infection that was causing the blemishes on my face. She gave me $4 prescription antibiotic ointment and my skin has fully cleared up. I am extremely angered by the lack of professionalism & this practices lack of trying to find the cure instead of pushing their own products. The website itself says it is an "acne center" where they will get to the root of the problem, but all they truly do is try to sell product. Can't speak to their other services but my one word of advice to this clinic is to NEVER tell a patient again that their acne is "their own fault." read more
