I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on my nose by my dermatologist. After two biopsies, I was referred to Dr. Brad Kovach for Mohs surgery. I could not be more pleased with the care I received from Dr. Kovach. He explained to me squamous cell carcinoma and the Mohs procedure to remove it. The Mohs procedure went very smoothly and Dr. Kovach reassured me throughout the surgery. I am very pleased with the results. My wife had 3 procedures done over the past 3 months. They're good at maintaining the appointments very close to the scheduled time. Dr. Kovach is an excellent doctor and twice my wife had to have a cancerous spot removed from her face, one requiring 70 some stitches, and a year later, you would never know it. That particular day, the first procedure was at 8:30 AM, and we finally left at 5:30 PM, because he only what he thought was enough, and when the pathology report came back he removed more, until on the 4th time, he got it all and sutured it up. The fact that the pathologist is in the same building makes that possible. read more

We were scheduled to see Dr Kovach .. appt. Was changed twice by their office. Finally go to Estero office and waiting room and examination rooms are filled with plug in fragrances.. now fragrances may be fine for some people, but not for asthmatics with bad allergies who also get migraines from chemical smells. Of course I left! Called their Main office.. manager apologized and said we're not used in Naples office.. no fragrances! Today, went to downtown Naples and arrived at an office with Plug ins!!!!! Left, and won't return or call back for explanation! I only left my original dermatologist, Dr Foster because he is here only 2x/ week. However, he and his staff wonderful! I was not meant to leave, and promptly got an appointment to return to him. read more

Moving down to Naples I was told to beware of medical practices that rushed you in and out, provided poor service and ineffective treatments and then engaged you in billing nightmares. A single visit turns into a months-long battle over billing. After the very poor treatment we experienced when I brought my father here I made an appointment for the both of us at another local derm practice and the difference was night and day. People, you do not need to settle for this kind of treatment. You deserve better! read more

Have a purple spot on lip. Was told by a dr that I need to see someone. Called to get appt as new patient. As of today, insurance company has dr zack listed as taking new patients but she is not and she wants to focus on surgeries I was told. Asked about dr kovak. He is taking new patients but he is booked 6 months out. They recommend you see the nurse. I was told the nurse knows everything the dr does and can detect cancer because she will take a biopsy then Dr will see me. No thanks. Sounds like we live in a 3rd world country anymore. You only have to become a nurse these days and you can do anything apparently. I need to go to Thailand where i can get better care and cheaper! read more

What a nice guy / Doctor. I went in to see Dr. Bradley Kovach about my Rosacea, the very visible veins on my nose and cheeks. My wife was a Dermatology Nurse for over 20 years and suggested Dr. Kovach, as he has an excellent reputation in Naples. She and her Doctor (not a dermatologist) here in Naples have referred a number of patients to Dr. K. Dr Kovach explained the laser procedure to me and within an hour and a half, the treatment was done. Of course, I had a few bruises, but they were gone quickly. Now the veins are COMPLETELY GONE!! The price was somewhat less than I had expected, probably the best deal in notoriously expansive Naples. If anyone thinks this is not an honest review, please call Jim at 313-277-3865. read more

I saw Dr Zack last week, and I am in total agreement w one of the other patients that she was disinterested, aloof, and in a hurry to leave the room. She did not even engage in any social discourse. She was ready to leave the room without doing the treatment I came in for. The office staff were disengaged and not pleasant. I would definitely not recommend anyone to DrZack. read more

Please stay far away from this practice!!!! My daughter who is a college student went there as a new patient to have her acne looked at . She was seen by the PA Hillary who did not ask any questions about what she had used in the past, she was prescribed a cream which she has used before and it did not work, my daughter also asked to have her scalp looked at and they told her she would need a separate appointment for that. She went back the next day ( another office visit) Hillary's nurse Linda was extremely rude when speaking to me on the phone and my daughter in person. I will just say I had an appointment at 8:00 am and I showed up at 8:11 because traffic was heavy that morning and they told me they could not see me until 10:20! My wife and I had a terrible experience at this office. The doctor who treated both of us was disengaged, aloof and had no bedside manner. Additionally, her comments regarding the skin damage my wife had incurred over the years were so hurtful my wife left the office in tears. I immediately contacted the office regarding our visit and was promised that the situation would be handled. A promise of an update call never came. When I called back they acted as if it never happened. If you care about yourself or your family stay away from this office. read more

2 visits, awful. First one with PA Thomas, chastised me for wearing make up, no personality, curt and really no help, just wanted to get out of there. Second visit with Dr Kovach disaster, had made an appt a month before to have broken blood vessels on my face lessened, not knowing what to expect, lasered by entire face, (after asking me WHAT INTENSITY I wanted him to use!!! I had NO idea!) The procedure was painful and did nothing to help with the broken blood vessels to the tune of $400 and all he said was oh, didn't you have a consultation visit before I did this! OMG never go here....its a joke! read more

Don't go there if you have HMO insurance. Dr Zack is an ok doctor but refused to do any freezing on my precancerous lesions. She did one Mohs, one scraping and then another surgery on an infiltrating basal cell. While my first exam, she said something on my back looked like melenoma.... without a path report. She scared me to death and should not have said that without doing a biopsy first. It wasn't. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They changed me an extra copay but could not tell me why. I think it was for stitch removal, however they didn't bill my insurance. I received a call from their office for a 6month follow up appointment, which they received approval for, and two weeks later they called me and said they didn't have approval yet and for my July visit I can only go to the Naples office. I live in Estero, 5 minutes from their Estero office. They all need a course in Customer Service! read more

My experience with Dr. Lisa Zack ended with a misdiagnosis that caused my Malignant melanoma to progress months longer than it should have. Although now clean for three years, I was out of work for five months and have had to spend numerous dollars. This could have been prevented by taking action the first time The spot was brought to her attention but instead instead she blew it off as nothing. Definitely would not recommend her. read more
