I have contacted this agent and their feedback was very bad. I do believe they are discrimination level the way I was talked to by the state. I was rejected with the word NO few times In the same line. it was like I was a monster! read more

I just renewed my contract with Minc. I absolutely LOVE this agency and all those who are hustling behind the scenes for their actors! Melissa, Amanda, Mariko, and whoever else I missed, are beyond helpful and professional. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. These last 2 months have been so busy, I have had at least 2 auditions a day, some of those callbacks. I booked 2 commercials within a month an a half, was pinned for another just last week, and I just keep getting busier! Getting called in by new casting directors, and am becoming a regular at other offices. The ladies have been extremely flexible with timeframe requests and other questions I ask, even having to book out last minute for Jury Duty. If you're a professional actor, who has put in hard work, and has common sense, Minc is more helpful, patient, and friendly than a lot of other agents I've encountered. I have been signed with 2 other agencies in Los Angeles during my 4 years here, those agencies maybe getting me in once a MONTH if any, with no explanation, or advice for me to help them do their job! I couldn't be more in love with my team here at Minc and am looking forward to many more years being on their roster! read more

I actually discovered Minc on Yelp, and was inspired by all the positive reviews (Melina P's in particular - I wanted the kind of agent she was describing!) to do some research. I checked out Minc's social media account - their actors are working. Fast forward, I signed with Minc a few weeks ago, and so far I'm thrilled - the audition opportunities literally started the day after my new headshots went online, and I have been to a few of the big commercial casting offices. Melissa really seems to have all her ducks in a row. She presents herself as someone who's very sharp and invested, and has made herself available for guidance at the same time - she provided lots of useful input during our initial phone interview, and when my new headshots were ready, she gave her time to sift through my whole gallery and help choose the winners. To address the negative review regarding time frames - agents are extremely busy seeking out opportunities for their clients, and providing time frames requires them to drop what they're doing (AKA submitting us for jobs) and hunt backwards through submissions. This is more than a hassle for them, it's a potential loss of opportunity for income on both sides. read more

I have been with Minc for over two years now. I truly love the agency. Melissa. Mariko, and their teams are all extremely professional, always accessible, and for me personally, very effective. I have booked multiple regional and national running commercials with them. It's LA so obviously I have lots of actor friends :) some at the "top" agencies and honestly, I work more than a lot of them. I can tell from the quarterly updates that this is possible because of how hard they work for me. They submit me in an appropriate and thoughtful way, so that I have the best chance at success. They are also just great people! read more

Been with Minc since October of last year and I am beyond grateful to have the team there supporting me. With only a couple of bookings among a sea of auditions I've been sent on, I am pretty satisfied with what they're doing for me and I'm certain the feeling is mutual. Melissa is very supportive and the most intelligent person I've met. I have a tendency to bombard her with millions of questions on millions of topics and she gets back to me with plenty of info, completely and thankfully not annoyed. There is so much to know and learn about this business and she wants me to be as prepared as possible when I meet opportunities. She follows up after gigs to see how they went and how I felt! She treats me like more than a client, like more than a dollar sign. I am lucky to have her actively nurturing me and my career as I navigate this terribly unpredictable business. read more

My wife and I have met with over a dozen talent agencies and we felt so comfortable sitting with Melissa, owner of Minc Talent. In a pretty short meeting we felt like we could trust her and knew that she was very knowledgable about the industry. She presents herself professionally and with full honesty. I really appreciated all the advice she gave to us. We took her advice and did every one of them. HOLY MOLLY- Every single piece of advice she gave took our acting/modeling career 3 or 4 new levels higher!!! Anyone researching Minc Talent should know that this is a company that is awesome and out of all the agencies/managers we've met with, Minc Talent is by far the best one out there! read more

Melissa is fantastic, highly intelligent, insightful and best of all she is the most generous person I have met thus far in this entertainment space. Melissa provided me with expert and very valuable advice on how to initiate and manage my career. If you are at the point in your career where your deciding on an agent, I wouldn't look further. It was obvious that she genuinely cares about her clients and is willing to go the extra mile for them. I see Melissa and Minc Talent as an organization that is interested in more than the bottom dollar. In Los Angeles, that is not only a rarity, but more importantly organizations like Minc Talent are responsible for keeping the dreams of acting/talent alive. :) read more

In a very short time, MINC has impressed me with not only their professionalism but their personal attention. I don't feel like I have a faceless agency who gets me work so they can make money. I feel like I have a professional friend who works with me to help further my career. In the months that I have been with MINC, no more than 2 days have passed before I hear from them again. Whether it be an email about an audition, a text about a booking or a call to set up a meeting just to get to know each other better. It truly is an ongoing relationship and I look forward to every exchange. Most important to me in business is honesty, transparency and integrity. That is MINC. I value those who want to work together for mutual benefit. That is MINC. I want to surround myself with those of like mind who focus on positivity and solution. That is MINC. I look forward to my continued work with them and am grateful for their desire to work with me. Here's to ongoing success! read more

I've been with Minc for about 18 months now and couldn't be more appreciative of Melissa and Mariko. In that short time I've booked over 20 projects and I know I wouldn't have had this level of success anywhere else. They've been beyond helpful in helping me get a foothold in the industry, navigate contracts with clients, offering practical advice, and just generally being super supportive and engaging. It's legitimately like having an agent who cares about your progress like a manager would. read more

For the past two months, i have had a professional relationship with this agency. Allow me to emphasize, RELATIONSHIP, because that is exactly what it is. During these past two months, since acquiring representation from MINC, i have felt their presence, immensely. I am in constant communication with them. and feel completely free to emall or call them with any issues or ideas, i have... which cannot always be said for other agencies. Before finding this agency, i wanted to be apart of an agency that was smaller, that communicated well, was honest, and was willing to work for me, as hard as i am willing to work for them. I know i have found that, and will continue to find that, with MINC. read more

Extremely rude professionals that work here! I called this establishment with a question about acting and if you can sign with an agency with no acting experience. (Keep in mind I was new to the business at the time and was just wondering how it worked.) The lady gave me a response as if she was annoyed with me calling. This was her only response to me, "Well I suggest you take some acting classes have a nice day." Hangs up the phone, it was just her tone of voice and how she hung up on me that fast without explaining anything to me at all. I left three different voice mails asking for an apology from the rude and unprofessional lady who answered my call and quickly hung up. I haven't got my apology yet! Lady whoever you are that answered the phone that day, you don't belong working with the public if that's the way you're going to treat people. Talk about very unprofessional and down right rude! read more

Minc Talent is a terrific agency. I'm so impressed by their professionalism, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, excellent communication. Above all else, they are a agency that really truly cares about the actor. Melissa and Mariko have shared incredible advice over the years in how to brand myself, answered all my acting questions, and are always available. I appreciate their hard work ethic, kindness, and advice. There's no doubt that Minc Talent is a excellent agency and I'd highly recommend them to anybody looking for representation. This agency is the worst agency for your child, do not use them there are way better. They do not book jobs for you , require you to pay fee's , Dont pay on time when you do get a job, are unprofessional , rude and ignorant. Will drop your child and rob him of any opportunities he could have had and you will start over. Aubri E. Almendariz especially she should step down and become a silent partner of this company. My son has been repped by Minc Model & Talent for two years! My children and I have been working with Melissa for over a year. I can honestly say it has been a wonderful, positive experience in every way. Melissa ALWAYS responds to my texts, emails, or calls very promptly. Because we were Newbies in the business when we began, I had tons of questions, and both Melissa and Mariko helped to guide us along the right path. They work endlessly and tirelessly, and they are very very good at what they do. We are very happy being a part of the MINC family! read more

Being so close to MINC agency in a live/work environment not only has helped my company grow but has also expanded our network. The modern, bright venue they provide is a very cool setting for anyone seeking representation and they conduct themselves very professionally. Melissa kindly reaches out to inform us about talent gigs seeking certain looks or people. If you are in this industry as either a model, hair stylist, photographer or a parent of talent I strongly consider setting up something with MINC and pursuing what could be your next career. Everyone though should understand rejection and inconsistencies are involved with the modeling world and it all revolves around how your attitude is with that. Keep up the good work MINC, have another casting call so we can meet more people! read more

I had a very negative experience when trying to discuss a complication with a potential job opportunity with this company recently. It was not necessarily the having the interview canceled due to my location (which they should have known anyway as it was on my resume. I guess they didn't read it enough) but it was how I was treated when I called the office as I felt their reasoning to pull the interview was unfair. I live on the opposite side of the country and I feel if I am applying to a company in a different location, it should be safe to assume that I want to move there (which I did mention). On the phone, when I was trying to explain the reason for my call, I was interrupted several times, yelled at to stop talking and overall felt the other person on the phone was rude and not giving me time to at least get my words out to listen to them. If this person had let me speak and kindly explained their side, I would not be writing this at all. Overall, very rude to those who are not employees or clients. Treat every single person you meet with kindness. That is what I do. Would have loved to work for you guys to try to give young actors their start and assist in the world to help create diversity on the tv screens. I am sorry we missed out. read more

I signed with Minc Talent some eight months or so ago. I was apprehensive to say the least about signing. I had been with a number of agencies prior to this and never felt completely at ease with any of the companies. Some were better than others, but for me, given that they had my financial future in their hands, I never felt that they were giving it their all. From my end, I worked hard and submitted for anything that remotely fitted my profile. So eventually, I did sign up to be represented by Minc Talent. From the get go, I never felt more at ease and 'at home' than I did with dealing with the company. Melissa, and then Mariko, backed by the team in Carlsbad, made me feel welcome. Hardly a couple of days go by without some action or word coming in from Head Office. I'm sure that most who sign with an agent, understand that the agent will get you some of your work, the meaningful stuff, the big bucks if you will. But it is the actress/actor who must still get the day to day jobs. If the agent manages to get you to 10% of your auditions, it is the responsibility of the actor to get the other 90%. That's the way it works. But understand the harder I work for me, the easier it becomes for the agent to place me at auditions - I have built up a track record for Melissa/Mariko to capitalize on. I should add, that the company now has office space in the 90028 zip area. To any who are serious about getting on in this business, talk to Melissa. She is very straightforward. I like that approach - I know it's not for all. And just for the record, I am a senior citizen, I came to Hollywood late in life but I do know a little of what I speak. read more

I have been an actress in Los Angeles for over 10 years and have had many agents. I had recently left an agency for unscrupulous practices and was looking for a new one that was upfront, honest and hardworking. Then I met with Minc. I was immediately taken with the professionalism and drive the agents had. Also, they "got" me. We were in total agreement of the roles I should be going out for. They loved my headshots and demo reels and felt they could get me auditions asap. I was good to go. So I decided to give them a shot. Well, I've only been with them a short time and my gut instinct was right- they are extremely hard working and proactive. They are in constant contact with me, and most importantly, getting me auditions! I also love how available they are to me. Anytime I have a question they get back to me right away. I get to speak to my actual agents and not an assistant! (a refreshing change in this town) I would highly recommend Minc to newer actors needing guidance to more seasoned ones like myself. A great group of people. read more

Melissa and her team were great to work with. They responded to all of our needs right away making our collaboration seamless.
