All I had to do was give him my theme "Twilight" and not only did he deliver, but everything was impeccable !! The decor was breathtaking, phenomenal, something straight from a movie. Every single detail was perfect, it was timeless. If I can say one thing about him would be OUTSTANDING. He is a delightful person to work with incredible talent. A persons wedding is something that will be treasured and remembered for years to come, and having Oscar and his team create and deliver that for a couple is the ultimate gift. Investing in Oscar is the best thing any couple can do, he seriously outdid my expectations.     I've been a loyal customer of M&M Party Rentals for many years -- I even got all my wedding rentals…read morehere. Their inventory has always been a bit old and worn down, but the staff used to make up for it with decent customer service. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I recently rented a hot dog machine for a school event. After setting everything up and loading all the hot dogs, the machine worked for about 10 seconds and then completely stopped -- no power, no light. We tried different outlets and even moved everything to another area with working electricity, but it still wouldn't turn on. This caused a major setback during the school function, and we had to scramble to feed the kids another way. I called during the incident for help but they were closed. After the event I called again and explained what happened. They told me to bring it back and that I'd receive a full refund. I did exactly that. When I dropped it off, Mayra said she'd refund it back to my card -- no problem. A short while later, she called saying they plugged it in and it worked for them. We had a polite conversation about how strange that was, but she never mentioned canceling my refund. It's now been 6 days, and no refund has been issued. I've left messages and never received a call back. When I finally reached someone named Ana, I was told she had to "check with the owner" to see if they even wanted to give me a refund -- and that she wouldn't be back for several days. At this point, it's not even about the money -- it's about principle and professionalism. I've supported this local business for years, but it's disappointing to see how they now dodge calls and treat loyal customers. A small issue could have been resolved quickly with honesty and good service. It's truly sad to say, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere -- somewhere that values integrity over keeping a few extra dollars. I wish them well, but I hope they use the money they kept from me to finally replace that old, faulty machine.

One of the tablecloths was also the wrong size. When I called to request a refund for the unusable dance floor, I was told it was our fault and even that we had asked for it without all the pieces, which was both rude and unreasonable. I hope they improve quality checks, recommendations, and customer service in the future. We will not be using this company in the future.

Her attitude is perfect, assertive and super friendly. She brings a whole group of staff with her, which is great because they all know each other and work well together. She even dealt with our photographer who we had hired outside Fab Event People, who ended up being kind of a pain. We were able to show up the day of and leave at the end of the night without having to worry about anything - what more can you ask for?! Thank you so much Janey, we couldn't be happier!

Janey sent us over some catering packages and we finally agreed on a menu. When it came to letting Janey know, she informed me that their tastings were $20 and that they do tastings. After emailing back and forth, Janey told me that they rarely do tastings. How can a consumer trust that their food would be yummy on their wedding day if they aren't able to sample the food? I would be a little worried about possible food poisoning. After several attempts of emailing Janey, and giving both her and the receptionist our availability to schedule a tasting, Janey just stopped communicating all together. I can understand a busy schedule (hello, I work and attend two schools full-time AND am planning a wedding!), but to just simply stop communicating with a potential consumer reflects poorly on a company. A simple email would have at least helped. They were still available to cater our wedding since they claim to have hired someone recently who would be able to assist us. However, if I have to be the one who's always emailing and contacting a company, I think I'll find someone else who would be worth working with and spending our hard earned money on. The photos and presentation are pretty, but that's just it. We hope other couples won't run into this problem when planning their wedding, and I hope this review will help them in understanding that customer service goes A LONG WAY!
