The grounds are beautiful, whether you just look out from the stately house, or if you wander on some of the trails -- maybe set for a spell on a bench. If you're looking to exhale and then breathe in amazing nature, you have found the place! The room is very comfortable, too. Our bathroom was plenty big and roomy. Loved the big bath (whirlpool, if you like). The 'full breakfast' is fantastic. Jen is a wonderful baker (a breakfast bread pudding one day; mini churros another day), and each morning we had a varied and hearty breakfast that was delicious and well-balanced. The house itself is big and inviting with hip old timey jazz pipedor more modern-day chanteuses gently piped in. Enclosed porch for reading or just relaxing. Our room had a private porch, too. So much here. So many ways to really unwind. Walking around the grounds is inspiring. I ran into Derek a time or two who was relaxed but busy on the many projects that keep him focused here. The whole place looks perfect for a wedding, or a family gathering, or even a business get-away. Or, of course, just a simple, lowkey retreat. Lovely hidden (but easy to find) gem. Can't wait to return.

Every Last Detail was the first company I called. I'm normally the type of person who calls around to explore options and find the best price, but Patty was so personable and made what felt like a daunting task seem fun so I booked her right away. I'm so glad I went with my gut because I couldn't imagine working with anyone else! Patty was very helpful and responsive. She also went above and beyond for multiple tasks. We live a few hours away from Carmel and wanted to plan a trip to visit some rehearsal dinner locations. We ended up planning this with only a few days turnaround time. I expected given the time crunch that Patty would give us a list of venues to check out based on our criteria, but she actually planned the whole trip for us! She introduced us to points of contact at each venue, scheduled each tour, and even mapped them out so we visited places that were in close proximity back to back and we didn't have to keep trekking back and forth between locations. It took all the stress off of planning and coordinating. I also know that finding spots that we would like was not an easy task in and of itself. My fiance, future mother in law, and myself all had some different/ vague ideas for the event. Patty did a great job finding locations that fit what each of us was looking for. I knew she had it all taken care of, but in "Michelle's" world it was TRAGIC. NO JOKE. My venue cancelled a month before the wedding, I was seeing DISASTER. Christina was able to get us to get out that weekend and look at new venues, dealt with the fall out of the cancelled venue, made all new adjustments for the new place, for all they did, and basically calmed me down. She was able to make time for my busy schedule with meeting with my family, husband, in-laws and more. She let me make my choices and explained why they would, or would not work well and we tried lot of places and she never got tired of me asking for more options. Believe me I wanted a lot of options. Christina and Signature events were prepared for any and everything for this wedding, I'm not too picky..... OKAY I am... and I was and THIS GIRL DID IT. I wanted Light up strung balloons and she did it, I got a horse and carriage, I had my Ice Cream Bar (Love black cherry ice cream), I had my BBQ too, I had my Drone's, I had my Special cake!
