Excellent nail salon. I took my niece for her birthday. She got a mani/pedi and I got a pedicure. The woman who took care of her was great and the gentleman who did mine was also great. Salon was clean, organized, and very efficient. They used sterile tools, which is always something I notice. Best of all, their prices are wonderful! They prefer that you pay cash for gratuity, but they happily accept it on a card. Had I have known, I would have brought cash, but I had no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Took my 5 year old here to reward her for her efforts in school. I don't much about nails shops, my experience with them in the past is just me waiting around for my loved ones. This time is different, I had to be involved and help my little one make choices for her manicure and pedicure. Tammy was great at helping me understand how safe the products were and what's appropriate for my daughter's treat. My little girl loved the experience and she was happy to see there was a massage chair that was her size! We'll be regulars here as long as my little one maintains her good school efforts! Side note, the whole place seems pristine clean, I'm a nurse so I look for any potential problems. Happy to report no issues found. read more

I called for an appointment a week in advance and showed up. The lady asked who I wanted and I stated it was my first time. A lady started my pedicure and seemed to not know where anything was. She was asking the other workers. She cut my toes, not just one, but 3. It wasn't the cuticle it was the meaty part. My dipped manicure wasn't collecting the powder so the man added a layer of gel on certain nails. They've already chipped and are cracking. Stopped into this place for the first time since I had breakfast next door. OMGness. SO CLEAN! The staff are all very friendly and speak perfect English so communicating what you would like is not an issue. I got the basic pedicure and I have never sat in such an amazing pedi chair! It massages all the way from your neck to your glutes and the sides along your waist and legs inflate which feels amazing! My tech was a really seeet lady who gave the best massage ever and massages again over the top of the hot towel which you don't get at most places with a basic pedi. I'd been many years ago, they've completely redone the place. Sparkling clean and very serene. Nice soft rock playing in the background. Tech was very professional and meticulous. She did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I got gel on my nails and polish on my toes. Total was 67.50. Well worth it for a great mani pedi experience! My wife Kim called ahead on a Friday and asked if they had a opening and they told her yes they did. She was there within 15 min to get a manicure and pedicure. When she arrived they started her manicure but stopped 10 minutes in because the nail tech forgot she had a appointment with another person. They proceeded to put my wife in a side chair and she had to wait over a hour before someone got back to her nails. As bad as that sounds the worst part is they charged our credit card twice for the service. Kim called several times and they said they would fix the problem but unfortunately after a week of calling they never did. Kim decided to speak to the owner in person but when she arrived he said " That's not true that's not true" and started waving his arms. She then showed him on her iPhone bank app of the double charge he then said "get out of my shop now". Kim then told the other customers they may want to leave unless they wanted to get ripped off. She was pretty upset at the entire experience of the place. And in closing she said the white tips on her nails did not last her even a week. There are a lot of places to get your nails done in Brandon/Valrico why would you go to a place that treats a new customer this way? read more

I've had some pretty bad experiences with this place. With cutting my fingers with the machine they use because they're in a rush to just flat out poor manicure jobs. But today was the absolute worst I've had and I won't be going back. Ever. I've had Johnathan twice now. This last time being the very last time. (See photos attached). I speant 3 hours and $80 on a pedicure for me and my daughter. The service was extremely slow despite me telling them that I was on a tight schedule. The person doing my pedicure wasn't sure what to do so I sat around waiting for her to be trained at each step. I'm not even happy with what I got so I definitely won't be back here again. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last, at least at this salon. Their technicians are very inconsistent in the quality of the service. I have mixed feelings about this place. They do a fabulous job with a Gelish manicure but I do not think it is very clean. The last time I was there I noticed that they do not clean the pedicure tubs after each customer. At first I thought I must have missed it but once I really paid attention I am certain they didn't They have a large sign saying how clean they are but I would have to disagree at least with the pedi tubs. Been coming here for years spending my hard earned money. Last time (three weeks ago) I was told by the owners wife to come for my fill on Wednesday's which is better for them.. I advised her that I worked and had to come when it's convenient for me since I'm the paying customer! Mind you I always have an appointment which I always have to wait when I'm on time. Called today and was told to just show up on a Sunday which I say over do for my fill they don't take appointments (I feel like that was directed at me) cause her husband takes too long. Sorry! I went in today for the first time and I am so happy I did. Tom is the BEST!! I normally never write reviews, I always use yelp to see what others say about places but I had to with this salon. I got pink and white ombré and he did exactly what I wanted. He was extremely attentive to my cuticles and to what he was doing! I am very picky when it comes to nail salons but I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. Plus they are next to my gym, open until 7 everyday except Sunday. But they are open on Sundays!!!! Best nail experience ever! I went in today for a full set of acrylic nails and I have to say these are the best I've ever had. Ben(or Will) did my nails and he is a great conversationalist and a great nail tech. He is definitely a perfectionalist and expressed to me that he always checks to make sure your nails look right because you're paying a lot of money for them and it's his job to do them correctly. Great customer service, I will definitely be coming back to have Ben do my nails regularly. read more
