Charged me $750 for diagnostic. Didn't repair anything. Told me they couldn't figure it out. Dont bring your vehicle to them for electrical issues. Follow up. Blew a head gasket because I didnt realize they had disconnected my electric radiator fans causing the truck to dangerously overheat on my teenagers drive to work. Also found that they removed the heat exchanger hose bracket and just left it with a rag under the hood. I expected that if they just didnt want to bother finding the problem and repairing it, in the very least they would return it to me in the condition I left it with them. Obviously not. To follow up further. The good mechanic that I brought it too in order to replace the head gasket, diagnosed the problem I took it to Milts for in less than an hour and its in the process of being repaired. Sam is the best mechanic out there. He spent time actually figuring out the issue we've been having for quite a while. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from where we live. Quality and service have tanked over the last five years. Find someone else! My husband brought my car in to have an expensive service rendered to the wheel base. Drove it around for a week and wound up stranded on the side of the road with a blown radiator. The guys who looked at my car said some sort of glue had been applied to the hose leading to the radiator, thus creating a massive leak, and ultimate breakdown. Was that a coincidence? Maybe. But I would steer clear of this shop for a myriad of reasons. I will onnay use a quality mechanic going forward -- someone who is willing to take an extra 10 minutes to look over any other potential issues. Had they diagnosed that I would have been a continued patron, but shoddy work, expensive pricing, and oversights just aren't where I like to spend my money. Used to really like and trust this shop, but like most services these days, things have changed. read more

Called Milt's and told them that my car was not cooling. informed Milt's that my auto mechanic said my truck it was out of the 1234yf refrigerant, and he did not have the proper tool needed to replace the refrigerant. Made appointment with Milt's for the next day because they said they could probably get it done the end of the day, I got it back 3 days later for a cost of $984.41. They did not call to authorize replacing the condenser, I called and they informed me they were replacing the condenser and the cost would be around $650. I had to call again to find out when I could pick up my truck. When I was able to get the truck on 03/02/2023 they charged $984.41 with no explanation, until I asked. They admitted they did not call, said items were more expensive then they realized. Milt's mechanic provided a 1 year warranty, the AC does work. read more

I have been going to Milt's Auto Repair since 2005!They are highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them to all of my friends and keep sending them to him for all their work! He also has a paint & body shop and do an excellent job. I had wrecked my 2008 Chevy Equinox. My insurance company had totaled it. I wanted to keep it. Milt said they could do the job, it was all cosmetic. I had messed up the front end! None of the engine or anything mechanical was damaged! They got it done in the amount of time they said, but I think it was kinda pushed along by my friend (Milt)! Yes! I do highly recommend them! How to get robbed without a gun!!! I dropped my car off two months ago for front end work... yes I said two months ago! No communication unless I called. I called one day and one of the mechanics was playing on the phone (are you serious?). I was quoted one price and ended up paying more than double... yes double! How does that happen? When I picked up my car the engine was running different as in rough... why is that? When the only thing that they were supposed to do under the hood was straighten the valve covers!... I stopped the car in the parking lot to look under the hood, to maybe see what was going on under there. One of the mechanics came out and told me to pull around to the shop where the car quit!! Why is that?? It ran like a sewing machine when I took it in! Before getting out of the car I noticed one of my air condition vents was broken!!!! Why??? Of course the mechanic says we didn't do anything in the car! So, he goes under the hood while saying "I didn't do anything under the hood"... he asked when did you get this car, as if I just got it and didn't know much about it. I responded by saying I've had it for 15 years, in other words I know about every bump and bruise from bumper to bumper!!! And on top of that I'm a mechanic myself... just needed some help and I definitely chose the wrong place! The only reason I gave one star is because I had no other options! when you tell the mechanic that you can not pay them for anything and they say to still bring the vehicle by so that they can see what's going - and they still fix your vehicle. that makes no sense to me - these people fixed my vehicle a year ago and i believed them to be reputable! however, they have proven not to be!! wont recommend over or ever go back there!! run!!!!!!! read more

Called, owner said bring car in 7 a.m. Tues 19 Oct '21. Told it should be done by 5 p.m. Came by mid day & he said he is short staffed not to wait as no guarantee it will be done today maybe tomorrow. That they should be able to get to it then. (It was in the side of the bldg where it was towed & dropped. Next day: female tells me (not worked on yet) if I dont like it I can always pick it up & take it somewhere else). Was told this also on Thurs. Fri was told they will try to look at it & call me to let me know. 4:45 p.m. I'm calling cos the close at 5 p.m. & not open on weekend. Went there. Truck still parked same spot, had it towed to Aamco. Dont know if this is the way they serve brown people but sure seems that way. read more

I have a '97 Toyota Celica in which the Crank Sensor was out, and they were decently quick to find the issue. My only complaint with diagnostic was their fee. The first thing they looked at turned out not to be the issue, yet they still charged me for looking at it. My suggestion would just be to know what you have wrong with your car before going in. Other than that though, customer service was fantastic, they always answered their calls and were able to keep me updated on the progress of my car. A part they needed from a Toyota part manufacturer (i guess) took several weeks to get in, but according to them, that's all they were waiting on, so to me there's no reason to pin the time it took to the fault of the shop. About to go pick up my car now, if anything goes wrong with the car, I'll update the review, and if there's no issues with it, ill probably bump this review up to 5 stars. On a final note, the owner of the shop was very friendly as well, he seemed very knowledgeable about his job. Thank you! read more
