For a fancy looking ice cream parlor at Hersheypark, specifically Hershey Supply Co., we were expecting much, much better. First, where are the flavors?!?! When we visited, albeit at the end of the day around 7:30PM, there were only 7 flavors remaining and none of them were really Hershey themed. How???? I'm guessing we got the bottom of the barrel in flavors and the more popular ones were all gobbled up during the day, but, to be frank, they're HERSHEY. They should have an endless supply of their branded ice cream tubs ready to go. There was a line to enter, but it went relatively quickly. We ended up ordering a waffle cone with a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip and Blueberry Crisp. Pretty ordinary flavors in our books and obviously not Hershey branded like Reese's. The ice cream was OK to my wife and I, but, as expected, our kids couldn't care less what the flavors were because their faces were smothered in it. In addition, the ice cream shockingly melted mightily fast even though we were indoors in an air-conditioned space. I've been outdoors in 90 degree heat with ice cream cones and it never melted as fast as the ice cream from here. We definitely expected more, but, yes, it was the end of the day, so I'll cut them a smidge of slack. However, like I said, they should have had more right behind it all. And the ice cream we did get was just average. Maybe if we came during the day, the ice cream would have been better, so we'll see next go around. read more

We visited here once before the park for lunch and again after the park for ice cream. It's really nicely decorated, clean, staff are nice and were very careful with my sons food allergy. Very good ice cream! This is apparently the only place you can get ice cream by the Hershey's chocolate company. I had the Reese's Peanut Butter and Malted Memories (milk chocolate malt flavour) ice cream, topped with Heath bar pieces and candied walnuts. Both ice creams were very rich in flavour and nice and creamy. Even though this is is an amusement park ice cream shop, it was definitely on par with "gourmet" ice cream I've had elsewhere. The candied walnut topping was also a delicious touch, although the walnuts are in syrup which made it a little messy as the syrup overflowed from the ice cream-filled cup. But it was worth it! The staff here was all very enthusiastic. The full menu is available online, but not all of the specialty sundaes are on the menu display above the counter. Before we reached the counter to order, there was a staff member with the full menu who was happy to explain everything and also just share fun facts about the ice cream and shop. The person who scooped my ice cream was helpful and very very patient in the face of me being indecisive. We stopped here on our way out of Hershey park. We got in line right on time but the line went kinda slow even though when I got up there the lady was pretty fast. She was super nice though. They had a TON of flavors (more than what they showed on the menu board) for everyone and all different types of toppings also. They also had different flavor waffle cones. I tried the dark chocolate and honestly nothing beats an original waffle cone but it wasn't bad. The place is super cute, like an older them ice cream parlor and they had plenty of seating and even serve actual food for lunch and dinner. This was a kind of strange experience. I wanted a sundae but not their massive $10 one so I asked for a medium cup of soft serve with hot fudge. The dude behind the counter goes "just give her that one" and points to the largest cup they have. Okay not what I asked for but whatever, I had to leave. I guess this guy was in training or something cause dude fills up the whole cup leaving absolutely no room and he got it all on the side. Literally just a flat layer of ice cream with no room for hot fudge. The dude takes it over to the hot fudge pump and it's just going every where all over the sides cause there was no room. Don't, don't believe the hype...we waited in line for almost 45 minutes. A server took our order only for us to still wait ANOTHER 15 minutes to get to counter...only to have to repeat the order since "the ticket machine is broken". We got 2 cups Mint Chocolate Chip and a cup of Vanilla and you are allowed one free topping. Again another wait to pay for our ice cream where upon you receive spoons. Mint Chocolate was good but not wait-all-night good. My nephew thought his Vanilla tasted weird with a whipped cream after taste... and there wasn't even whipped cream on it. And if you hit up Milton's after your park day, your feet will not thank you for yet another painfully slow line. The ice cream was tasteless. The whipped cream is not the real stuff and for $50 for 5 shakes and a cone, I think expecting real is not unreasonable. Family of four who wanted to sit indoors for dinner and dessert. Menu was simple and the food was really good. The chicken and waffles was excellent, chicken wasn't dry. Burger sliders were just enough and seasoned very well. For dessert we went into the ice cream line and got the unlimited sundaes with 3 scoops and unlimited toppings. My friend ordered a root beer float and enjoyed it. I ordered a regular cup. I wish I had a picture of the sign by the entrance, which shows 2 scoops in a regular and 3 scoops in a large. I was excited to learn they had a vegan option for ice cream. I asked to sample it since they only have one flavor and they flat out refused, saying we don't do samples here. During the same visit my niece had an ice cream cone and there was paper inside the cone. we only knew that because she ended up eating half of it. We took it back to the register they said the cone was doubled by mistake. We asked for the manager who looked like he was all of 17, he just stared at us and had no clue about service recovery.
