I have been going to Milton Nails for a few months now. They consistently do a great job and have excellent customer service. The salon is very clean and open, tons of seating for both manicures and pedicures. Today I received a dip manicure and gel pedicure both of which were fantastic. I was able to call day of to make an appointment. They took their time but were very efficient (1 hour 15 minutes total for both) and did an excellent job. I have tried a lot of salons in the area trying to find the right fit and this is definitely the one for me! After bouncing around a few spots, I finally found my nail person! As a hairstylist, I'm super picky--especially with dip. We love it because the color doesn't change when doing hair color. Unfortunately, not everyone gets that. The owner here originally tried to argue with me about topcoats (newsflash: there is one that works, the top coat that Goes With---, he just didn't carry it because his customers don't like "too expensive"--his words). I almost gave up on the place... it would be a shame as it's just so close to my house - until I scrolled the reviews, followed up on a few names, and took a chance. I'm so glad I did. I found my person and she has MAD skills. The place is always clean, the pedicures are next level, and they stay busy (which tells you something). Ive been going here for years now and have been doing dip. They last me 3-4 weeks without chipping or breaking. I did trial a few ladies and found the one I love! My sister and mom did get a pedicure and said they do a better job here compared to other nail places. They did a remodel on the place a few months ago and it looks great and super clean. They do take walk ins but call ahead if you can and make an appointment because some days they do get pretty busy. read more

I don't remember the guys name that did my nails but he made my nails chunky, didn't blend them after applying the tips, he finished the color and everything and it looked TERRIFYING. So I said I don't like them and he got mad and got up and walked away. Another guy helped me and also didn't fix them they're lifting after 2 DAYS! A week old and one nail already popped off. I went in for a dip manicure (my first dip) and am SO HAPPY with the results! I usually do shellac at home, but lately the shellac has been peeling after a week so I decided to try dip. They are so durable and comfortable. The manicurist did a FLAWLESS job of shaping my nails and getting the dip right up against my cuticles. It will take electric filing to get the dip off, which I find very unpleasant, but so far I'd say it'll be worth it. I was busy talking to my friend, so I didn't get a chance to admire just how much attention to detail the manicurist paid - I wish I had tipped more, so I felt very motivated to leave a review in appreciation. I was amazed to find a great nail salon in Milton. I had my shellac for my nails and pedicure on my toes. I love how they've turned out. Kim was making sure all the edges of my nails were smooth because I'm gonna have my newborn baby soon, making sure I'm not scratching him. I love the hot stone and the salt scrub for my feet. I felt so amazing good. I paid totally $48 but feel like I have pampered myself at top salon that could have been $100. Let me start this out with saying I'm not a confrontational person and I don't like to complain. I got my nails done today and showed a picture, when we were done I wasn't a huge fan and had a doctors appt to get to so I left. On my entire drive to the doctors I couldn't stop staring at my nails. They looked awful and not like the picture at all. I called within an hour and told them I was just there and didn't like my nails and wanted to come in and get them repainted but just a solid color this time. They told me to come back and get it done in about 3 hours. Once I was seated and chose a color the girl told me that there would be a charge today and the reason is because I didn't say something right then and there about not liking my nails and I waited to say something when I was already gone. That to me is ridiculous, I hate complaining and wanted to leave in the moment to look at them more and see if I really hated them because again I'm not a confrontational person. I called within an hour of leaving and I cannot go on vacation to Mexico tomorrow with awful nails. So I will never be back. They actually literally charged me which is insane. So make sure if you hate your nails you speak up immediately. read more

This is one of the better nail salons I've been to. Got a standard pedicure. I was amazed at the quality and amenities featured. There was a callus removal, scrub, oil, lotion and hot stones all for just $23. Kim took her time and did not rush me to dry afterward ( left 10 minutes after she was done). I asked for a 6:15 appointment one day, I was forced to wait half my appointment time. The following day from my pedicure, I noticed multiple toes had little to no paint. I hardly go get my nails done and this was a convenient location for nothing but disappointment. I called to ask if they would fix them, they stated they wouldn't cover a simple polish. I was looking for a nail salon and came across this place and I been coming here ever since. The prices are reasonable and they do an amazing job, I personally request for the guy to do my nails. He does the best job there and takes the time to see what and how you like your nails. As for the pedicures. They rub hot stones on your legs and it's to die for especially in this Washington weather we get. Overall I recommend you come here for nail service and pedicures. It took about 10 mins for them to greet me ( I only stayed bc it was already 6pm and I needed nails done as I had an even to go to that evening ) The shape was terrible, they tried fixing and it still looked horrible i was so frustrated. The lady would only put on 2 coats of polish ( it was a nude color and definitely needed another coat ). I was really unhappy as was my friend and she just got a simple manicure. I won't be back. I arrived on time for my appointment, I understood that a standard pedicure was $25.00. When I arrived I was shown a emery board and a shaper in a zip lock bag and told that I must purchase them at a cost of $4.00. I was incredulous! I have never heard of having to purchase equipment for the salon to use. I decided to leave without having my pedicure. Dollar Tree is just down the street. There I purchased the shaper and emery boards for $2.00. New cost of the items they wanted me to buy for $4.00 was $1.50---the emery boards were 2 to a package. If this was an honest business, they would raise the cost of a pedicure to $29.00-- not come up with a bogus charge that they don't tell you about until you arrive for your appointment. Moved to Edgewood this past year and am happy to finally find a reliable place to get gel manicures and pedicures. The staff are friendly and do a great job. Their prices are very reasonable too! $18 for gel color change; $23 for fell manicure. I've tried the other local nail places and milton nails is by far the best. A week later and gel manicure still looks great and is fully intact...no chips, peels, etc. read more
