This is our the second year staying at Milton heights for the summer season. The campground is meticulously maintained. Our experience camping at Milton Heights campground was not a positive one. It is an ok campground with limited facilities. The site was uneven, the sites really need some improvements and upgrades. Gravel parking spots would be great and some pull through sites for larger rigs would be helpful. There are so many rules and management is micro managing the park, driving around continually. The office lady, maybe owner not sure, is not very friendly. She comes across as being kind of aggressive. Visitors are charged $7.50 each to come in the park. We had friends come in and pick us up to do a day trip with us; it cost them $15 to come into the park for probably 10 minutes to pick us up and didn't use any facilities, while in the park. I asked the office gal what the $15 charged was paying for, and she wouldn't answer, just said it's the rules. They couldn't have used the bathroom behind us anyway, it was out of order the whole time we were there. Suggestions for improvements- working restrooms; gravel parking spots; water hookups , where the hose doesn't fall into a cement hole; pull through sites for bigger rigs; garbage bins in more than one area (only one was near the entrance); less fees for visitors; and friendlier staff/management. Campgrounds should be run by friendly, inviting staff/management, so people want to stay there and return, as well as tell their friends for more future business/campers. They have what could be a pretty campground and inviting, but need some improvements and an attitude adjustment to encourage campers to recommend and return to the park. read more

We stayed here for ten nights so that we could attend a family reunion in the area. Our site was a pull thru with full hook-ups. The park is older but well-kept. The rates are reasonable. The office staff were friendly and so were the resident cats. For information, the staff were helpful to point out locations of interest and even provided a simple map of downtown Milton. The campground was quiet, each site has its own fire pit and the office has firewood for sale at a reasonable cost. A security gate closes after hours and each registered site gets a pass card to open the gate. The laundry was sufficient; the shower/bathrooms could use some updates but they were clean. Very clean and well kept park. I see lots of silly reviews on here about people with issues with the rules. I personally love the rules. The fact that dogs have to be on leash, the fact that trailers can not be old and falling apart. If you like a campground that is as close as you can get to Toronto and located near a major city this is for you. It is especially nice considering how calm the park is being located near such a big city. Will definitely be back! read more

The staff is mostly grumpy. The owner is infatuated with the grass but you can't smoke grass here. The Wifi is horrible, they must be giddy every time they disconnect the modem. Don't drink the water in effect, which they never said anything when I booked. Not sure I would be back. They close at 5 pm, you can't get by 5 pm oh well too bad. read more

Lovely campground. Would definitely stay again. Clean, well maintained and the staff are very helpful and accommodating.

This is just an OK place to stay. The worst was parking to check in. The trees in the driveway are a little low for our rig and there are signs to not block the gate. A car could get through the gate for the few minutes we were stopped but we were yelled at by the owner. No one came in while we were there so it seemed excessive and pointless. We are full-time r'vers who usually travel south for the winter but due to COVID and border closure, we are unable to go south. I contacted Milton Heights as to availability for this winter and was advised they have a year restriction, which I cannot find anywhere on their website. We do have an older unit which is in very good condition. During a pandemic, even if they have a restriction for seasonal sites, they could have made an exception for this winter. read more

Not a destination for us ~ but ok for one night while traveling through the area. Most recent stay was 7/01/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Got fairly close to restroom/shower building - the only 1 on site. Had appearance of having been updated with full tile on floors and walls but shower curtains are in need of replacing. Had a bench for seating, no rubber floor mats for your feet when exit showers, no hooks or shelves for your stuff - also none at community sinks area + no paper towels - air dryers only. (towels would have helped to reduce the messy area and campers would use them to keep area cleaner) no convenience items (aside for the nice bench) for campers Showers are adequate and hot Overall park is ok with fairly level paved (cracking asphalt) level sites and paved roadways. Sites close together, but not cramped each with picnic table & fire pit with narrow strip of grass between each - hey this is a rv park after all not like camping at public campgrounds although they have tent sites on the grass and under the trees, however not handy to the restrooms read more

I'm good , been here all winter , yes the owner can be very strict , but as a business myself I understand, he's always willing to help , the office girls are super friendly , the hydro fees are real high would hope for a lower rate , when it snowed he's always here plowing and sanding , his life depends on this business so he has a right to be strict . Yes I would recommend this park , keep to your self keep your site clean and it will be great the manager is real nice and helpful read more

Basic campsite for passing through. New owners. Cost is $40 with Good Sam. Friendly, safe. Sites are long enough for pull through. Limited air tv and slow wifi. Would use again. read more

This campground is one of the worst camp grounds i've ever went too. They kicked me and my family out for being "too loud" but we didn't even make a sound. They kept closing the pool so that we didn't get a chance to swim and they are the most racist people we have ever met. They kicked us out and made us pack all of our stuff and we weren't even ready. We didn't enjoy ourselves and i'm sure u won't ether. I do not recommend this camp ground at all. They keep putting up their prices for more money and didn't give us a chance to swim. We will not be attending this camp ground because of it's low quality I wouldn't even want to rate it but i have to, to post this message read more

I had very bad Experience today September 4th, 2019, over the phone with the owners granddaughter, it's a owned family business, she was so very rude to me on the phone about my storage payments I told her I just mailed out money order today, I know it's due on every 2nd each month, but she didn't had to be so rude to me about the money, I had my trailer at there property, since going back June 3rd, 2017, and she told me to moved my trailer out now, I told her that I don't got hitch now, she told me okay I want you to moved the trailer by October 2nd, 2019, she was nice to me before when I first brought my trailer at Milton Heights Campground but now she's not so nice was so rude to me on the phone I felt nervous the way was talking to me, I know I'm late making payments for storage to store my trailer, but I always pay and they do get there money. But she didn't had to be so rude ignorant about the money and made me nervous and I felt uncomfortable, I did camped at Milton Heights Campground last year summer, it was ok I guess I didn't like the idea the facts that there campground is near the highway and Milton city too, the owner the old guy was ok I guess he seemed nice but I don't know him but looks is Deceiving, and I do know it's a family owned business. If they don't want my business anymore to store my trailer? Then I guess I wouldn't do business going camping in there property no more, no more doing business with them for anything. I was treated very badly on the phone, that's how She treated me talking to me on the phone. and it's the truth I'm not lying about my reviews. Today I did send storage money order payment by mail. To bad this business doesn't except debit bank Visa, because not everyone has a major credit cards, that's what I told the granddaughter, I know I was talking to the granddaughter because another lady transferred me to the granddaughter the grandfather of the granddaughter who I was talking to me on the phone. This campground and area is beautiful. They keep it looking pristine. Only complaint was the occasional smell from the sewer pond. When you get close to the dumpster or office and the wind is blowing it burned my nose. Only an occasional wif at campsite. I hate to complain cause the people are extremely nice and helpful. read more
