Friends invited me out to dinner here, as they make wonderful French onion soup. We all ordered it and I had a beet salad. The beet salad was large with lots of candied walnuts too and a great balsamic dressing. The soup was piping hot and small in portion. The chunks of onions were tough and undercooked. The cheese on top was baked with a golden crust. We had extra bread with olive oil and garlic cloves. The issue was the lack of service. My friend went over and got napkins off the server's preparation counter, as none were provided, as we had gotten soup spoons only with our soup. No napkins. I had to ask her for utensils to eat the salad, as no setups were provided for our table. Someone else from the kitchen had brought out my salad and I had to flag her down 5 minutes after I had gotten the salad to ask for something to eat it with. My friends were a bit chagrined about our lack of service, as they wanted to show me the best of their home town. There were only 4 occupied tables , and she was too busy talking to other people to check in on us , and do her basic role.

We came here after a day trip to Lake Mead. Let start with the menu, only 4 items for the lunch. I thought that the food is going to be great because they only have 4 items to keep their quality at a very high level and everything will be fresh and will taste amazing. However, the food was definitely below the average and they charge $20 for a Panini which doesn't taste good. The location is very nice but I wont back here next time. I didn't try any wine there and can't make any comment on that. I wanted to give them 2 stars but once I saw they have surcharges on any amount, decided to go with one star. Hopefully they will see their recent reviews and will work to improve their quality and fix their mismanagement.

Milo's Cellar has been a Boulder City gem since long before I lived around the corner / back when I visited here as a tourist, coming thru in winter on my annual hot springs road trips (see Arizona or Gold Strike hot springs if here in winter, chow down here after hiking out). Now that I've moved here, it's where I walk on a whim when I cannot be bothered to turn on my own stove at home in triple-digit summer heat, and a place I can count on to host large groups: they have a lovely private room and always take excellent care of us. They have a fantastic wine selection; I usually let them suggest for me but am partial to a crisp Sauvignon Blanc this time of year. And the caprese salad to cut through this heat. In winter I hunker down with French onion soup. Thank you to Milo, Aurora and the whole staff for hosting our Dam Proud group on Friday, we had a blast!

We stopped here after a day trip (hike) to Boulder City. The ambience is very nice. You could sit either inside or outside. The service was fantastic. We enjoyed the ahi tartare that was very tasty. It had a wasabi sauce, that was excellent. We also had the chicken caesar wraps. The special was the salmon salad. The salmon was over cooked slightly. We will come back again for the wine!

The Mrs. and I drove out to Boulder City today to have lunch at Milo's Cellar. I have been to Milo's several times over the years. The last time was probably well over a decade ago. Even though it was over a hundred degrees, we decided to sit outside. Milo's has misters on the patio which helped lower the temperature. To start things off, the Mrs. and I enjoyed a wine flight. Three generous pours for $15. For lunch, we order a cheese board, hummus, and and salmon carpaccio. The carpaccio was probably the best. Very refreshing on a hot day. As an after lunch drink, we enjoyed a glass of Merlot. The service was great as well. Aurora took really good care of us. Aside from being a café, Milo's is also a great wine shop. P.S. While I understand Nevada is an "open carry" state, why do you need to bring a loaded weapon to restaurant? You know what they say about little men who love their guns.

I've heard so many great things about here but it was just okay. Server was nice. Inside and outside seating. The crab and shrimp(lobster) roll was okay. I didn't think it was lobster but I think the menu might have said it. The side salad Cous cous I had was hard and starchy. My husband had the same roll but a macaroni salad that was also hard and starchy. The tuna tartare was also just okay. It was basically a poke. Each item was basically $20. Service was okay but this was during Art in the Park so it's understandable that our waters were never refilled.

We were traveling and decided to put stop in Boulder City, so glad we did because we found this gem The food was on point. If I lived near hear I would make it a weekly stop.

We have wanted to check out Milo's for a while but it is always so busy that... well on this beautiful afternoon we scored an outside table! So glad we did! The weather was amazing and the service was tops! We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon as we sat and nibbled and drank! Our server never rushed us but was right there when we needed him! There is quite the extensive wine selection available by the glass or bottle, and is moderately priced! We plan a return trip to try out the delicious choices on their dinner menu!

We went for a date night last night with the in laws for some wine and fun. Our hostess was Amy. She also treated us like we belonged to the family. She was prompt about our wine list selection and request. We got up and choose our wine from the cellar. Gave her our bottle and she very selectively laid out our 4 glasses and poured our wine. St Frances 2016 Cabernet 30$. I am not sure there was even a corkage fee. Later my In laws picked their bottle to share with us. Amy accommodated us with an over whelming personality and pure joy to go I to Milos. We will be returning because obviously Henderson doesn't have anything exciting happening. Now i am adding to my review. We (husband and I) went to Milos to eat and taste wine last night. 1/4/2020. Did our usual picked our wine. 2013 Humble Pie Cab Sav. Oh my was it the best. Raspberry's, oak flavor with a hint of smoke. Very tasty. We actually at (first time). I have a Greek salad and my husband had Saturday night special. Mash potatoes and toast. Wow. I am not a meat eater. But I tasted this delicious dish. The meat needed absolutely fabulous. The meat was tender inside and crispy on the out. The carrots were sweet and just enough of them. My Greek salad was very large for the price. The biggest tomatoes I have ever seen for small tomatoes. The chef came out as we requested. We both complimented him on a meal well prepared. He immediately took our compliments with gracious humbles. I don't want to share this awesome hot spot because We want it all to ourselves. Lol

Not usually. Sometimes on Friday or Saturday nights or if there's an event in town it gets busy, but usually you can be seated right away.

The bar is located in the new Atwell Suites Henderson, next to The Pass Casino on Water Street. It is an intimate space, but there is also seating available outside. There is live music every Friday & Saturday from 6pm-9pm out on the patio, but they pipe the music inside as well, which is a nice feature. They have a pretty extensive drink menu and the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the wine. I asked for a red that wasn't too dry and he recommended a delightful wine that was more on the sweet side and not too dry. My friend ordered a very dirty martini and she said it was perfect. They have a small selection of food including a Charcuterie Plate, Baked Brie & Fig Preserves, Mixed Nuts & Marinated Olives, Caprese Salad, 3 types of pizza, and Chocolate Lava Cake to satisfy a sweet tooth. We ordered the Charcuterie Plate and were not disappointed. The only downside to this space is that it is a little confined inside, and once it is full of people, it gets a little noisy. Other than that, great place for a casual drink or two and a snack.

From the moment you sit down, you feel like a regular -- even if it's your first time in. Today John was at the bar. He has a real talent for reading the room. Busy night? We had a confirmed reservation for Friday, December 19, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a party of seven. The reservation was made online, accepted, and confirmed by email. I even received an email the day before asking me to confirm that we would be there, which I did. On top of that, I called the night before with questions about the menu. Although there is no direct phone line to The Wine Cellar, I was connected to a concierge who, while not fully familiar with every detail, took the time to review the website and menu with me. At no point was there any indication that the wine cellar would be closed. Everything showed as open, normal hours, reservations active. We arrived on time for our reservation and found the place completely closed. This was not a casual drop-in. It took effort to get this group together. We had friends in town visiting who Ubered to the location from The Strip, we drove in from North Summerlin, and others came from Henderson. We dressed up in holiday attire and planned this as a special night out leading into Christmas. It mattered to us. Instead, we were left standing there confused and disappointed, and ended up spending the rest of the evening sitting at another bar in the casino eating nachos. Not exactly the Napa-inspired wine experience we were excited about. If a business is closed, it should not be accepting online reservations, sending confirmation emails, or asking guests to reconfirm their attendance. Employees and concierge staff should be aware of closures. And if something truly unexpected happened, a facility issue or last-minute closure, then someone should be contacting guests with confirmed reservations. That would not have been difficult. We relocated to Las Vegas from Northern California years ago and were genuinely excited to visit a Napa inspired Wine Cellar because we miss that wine culture and wanted to share it with friends. As locals, it is incredibly disappointing to see a business handled this way. I want to support places where I live, but this experience left us frustrated and upset. This was a big letdown and, honestly, a shame.

I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.

You can choose between having wine by the glass (red and white wine available) or you can try their tasting flights. We were given a food and wine menu to start off with. Lots of wine choices, but limited food choices. For food, we decided on their 12" cheese pizza and their Charcuterie table. For our wine choices, I had the Sauvignon Blanc dry white wine, my mom had the Mist Muscat Canelli white wine, and my dad had the Whimscal Semi-Dry Riesling white wine. While my parents only had one glass each, I decided to have two glasses of my own because it was just so good! The Sauvignon Blanc had that fruity flavor to it with just a hint of green apple and grapefruit. While I didn't get the chance to try the Charcuterie table, which had numerous amounts of meat and cheese on it, the pizza was excellent, cheesy, and shareable.
