Pretty sad that I have to leave this review, but I did try to be patient and see if the business…read morewould get back to prospective customers. (I thought since the reviews were perfect, they might come thru... but instead... nada!) We were considering giving them a pet sitting job for over a month in length. But unfortunately they can't be reached via the phone. I left a vm and waited an entire week and got no call back. Backstory: Ironically I believe there's someone named Shauna who operates the website and Yelp(and does a prompt job responding), but John the caretaker is the one who's phone number is associated with the biz, and he is unable to be reached to line up appointments!! (I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) I'm glad others have good experiences. But that was not ours. ‍

First off, I'd like to say that the thought of leaving our pets at home while we went on vacation…read morewas extremely stressful. But once we met John and Shauna, the owners, we quickly realized our fur babies were in the best hands possible. They were not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly professional. If you're a pet owner looking for a true 10-out-of-10 service, this is the company. Our pet sitter, Karen, was nothing short of amazing--so loving, so attentive, and so patient with our very needy black cat, Jax. She didn't just stop by; she stayed, hung out, and genuinely spent time with him. And even though our gray cat, Dolce, didn't come out very much, she was just as incredible in caring for her and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. Wow... just wow! We were floored by her love for animals. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such great care of the fur babies we love dearly. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. And honestly, anyone leaving anything less than a five-star review? Shame on you! These people love animals and treat your pets as if they were their own. Amazing, amazing, amazing! You'll always be our go-to whenever my wife and I take a vacation.

Cheryl is absolutely one-of-a-kind and was fantastic while looking after my cat, Biscuit, while my…read morehusband and I were away for 2 weeks on our honeymoon. She visited ahead of time to meet our cat and assuaged all of our fears within a few seconds. Our cat has a really hard time trusting humans who are not my husband and myself. She is friendly enough when first greeting someone, but she will not let other people pick her up or come running up to them until trust is built. Not with Cheryl. Cheryl is one of those people who really has a special connection with animals. I was amazed at how quickly Biscuit just came up to her and let Cheryl get close and asked for affection from her. The entire time we were away Cheryl sent us updates every day, with pictures. It really helped me feel better about leaving her alone. Cheryl would even do little things like turn the fan off in a certain room so the cat could get warmer (As she thought it would be more comfortable for her). And she asked to put on some ambient noise for the cat so that it wasn't so quiet in the time between visits. She even sat down with Biscuit and enjoyed her lunches with our cat while visiting, sometimes watching videos of birds with her to get biscuit interested. :) Working with Cheryl was easy, and honestly the best person we could have possibly wound up with. We lucked out finding her I think... I mean sure Rover has options, but none of the sitters seem to focus on cats (solely or primarily). It was important to us that we found someone who could give Biscuit her pills. We did not expect to find someone who could give our cat her pills, and who would gain her trust in such a short period of time. We love Cheryl and are forever grateful for her having looked after our cat during our honeymoon. If she weren't volunteering in Colorado over the next few months, I'd have her look after Biscuit again! Thank you so much Cheryl, from the bottom of our hearts (K, Sean and Biscuit).

At first, I was unsure about an in-home pet sitting service. It's a very trusting concept to give a…read moreperson your keys and have them in your house while you are away; Needless to say, a naturally uneasy feeling for a stranger to be doing it. I approached my search wearily and was careful who I chose to drop in to check on my animals while away on a trip. As I inquired with Cheryl about using her services, she was very warm & friendly. She was approachable with questions, and was an excellent communicator. After our initial conversation about dates and services needed, She scheduled a meet-up with me and my wife at home before we booked anything with her so she could get to know our animals, and communicate with us first-hand about exactly what we needed from her. The meet-up was important, as we got to know each other and I got a feel for her background. She is a semi-retired professional and has decades worth of experience with ALL KINDS of animals. As we gave her a tour and explained exactly what we needed, she took a copious amount of detailed notes: referencing where everything was located, what exact steps were required to feed/water/ clean, areas to avoid in the house, off limit areas for the animals, and even which exact key words served our animals for commands or companionship. While we were away, Cheryl helped clean, feed, water, and spend time with our 2 cats and crested gecko. Every time she came in, she took pictures or videos to keep us updated on how they're doing that day. It was nice to see her interacting with our lonely fur & scale babies and our our minds were out at at ease that they were in good hands. She also helped bring our mail in and make sure things were tidy around the house, assisting with messes the animals may have caused. Recently over Christmas, we had severe winter storm Elliot slam into a majority of the country. Because of this, thousands and thousands of flights were completely cancelled. My flight back home to AZ from CA was no exemption. After reaching out to Cheryl and explaining the last minute situation, she was easily able to fit checking-in on my house and was VERY accommodating! Of all the stresses of being stranded away from home, not exactly sure how long of a wait to get back home, she was such a huge blessing for me to at least not to have to worry about my animals! Cheryl is the exact kind of friendly person you want to have in your house, loving your animals while you are away. She is very people savvy, animal savvy, smart, well organized, and most of all dependable!

WOW! I am not sure where to start. This might get long - but I couldn't decide which valuable info…read moreto leave out to shorten it. What I am about to say here might sound like a "planted" review by a "close friend" but I promise you it is not. I have only known Krissy for several weeks now. I put out a request for someone to come and watch my beloved Fred (my orange Tabby/Maine Coon) while I was to be gone for 1 week. Many answered but the one that really stood out was Krissy. First off...Fred is a sweet, pleasant and loveable little meatball. He is my world since it's only he and I in the house now. He is lost since we lost Ethel last month. She was a Maine Coon and they were inseparable. Same age 1 month apart (only 7 yrs old). Ethel died in my lap from something that overtook her very quickly and I'll never know what it was) Poor Fred still looks for her. Okay - back to the review: Fred is a Scaredie Cat and hides whenever someone comes over. When Krissy came for the introductory meeting, Fred came right out to her (he even bypassed ME!) and immediately warmed up to her and was affectionate on a massive level. I know he could sense the warm, loving and caring quality surrounding and eminating from Krissy. Right away my fears of leaving Fred for a week went away. Krissy also offers something that was invaluable to me. With every visit she took video and pics and would text them to me while I was on my trip. That was sooo great! The bottom line here...Krissy is a kind and gentle soul and the animal world can obviously see that right away on first encounter with her. She gives your precious little four-legged-furry family member total love and kindness and most of all...gives YOU PEACE of MIND while you are away. I apologize if this sounds like a commercial (I used to produce many radio spots in my life-long career as a Professional Musician) - It is a straight-from-the-heart assessment. Krissy takes the worry out of your time away so you can focus on your trip - whether it is pleasure or business. You can enjoy it worry-free and know your little one(s) is/are in GREAT hands! Thank You Krissy!!!
