I cannot say enough phenomenal things about Lily and Pick of the Litter! This was my first time…read moreever leaving my corgi with someone, and I honestly thought I was going to feel so anxious. But from the moment I left, Lily made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. Lily followed Butters' routine PERFECTLY, was incredibly sweet and professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire stay with thoughtful texts, videos, and pictures. It meant so much knowing Butters was not only being well taken care of, but genuinely loved and treated like her own. I am officially a huge fan of Pick of the Litter and would recommend Lily to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their furry loved one. I really appreciate the pride and care Pick of the Litter puts into choosing the people who look after our little loved ones. We will absolutely be back!

Susie is very loving and responsible. My dogs adore her! We typically book her for live-in stays, but on occasion we also use her for drop in care. I always receive updates with photos and my dogs always appear relaxed and happy. It makes such a difference having the same person care for my pets, and gives me so much peace of mind. Lisa, the owner, is in tune with all her caregivers. Recently, our flight kept getting delayed and we ended up having to ask Susie to stay longer than anticipated. Once we landed, I let Susie know she could leave as we would be home soon. Before we got home I received an email from Lisa asking me to let her know we made it home so as our dogs were not left without care in the event something delayed us further. We had used other sitters before we found Pick of the Litter, and nothing compares to the care and communication we receive from them. I highly recommend!

How would they know what to do if they had never been to my apartment before? Randy (the owner) came to my apartment before the first visit and took copious notes about what to do. He asked that I buy a lock box on Amazon and place it somewhere in the garage of my building with my keys inside for the pet sitter. I'm used to giving my keys to my pet sitters, but this is actually pretty convenient because it means that I can get my key back right away when I come home. There have been a couple pet sitters who have been to my place, but Anna has been there the most. All of them post updates with photos that appear on the app that you can download on your smartphone (you also get an email copy of this as well). I feel like Anna has really gotten to know my kitty and I appreciate that she really seems to enjoy spending time with her. The other convenient thing about this pet sitter is that you can request the dates of your pet sits online and also you can pay for them with credit card afterwards.

Four woofs for Paw Play! After our French Bulldog son became an only child we enrolled him at Paw…read morePlay to breakup his alone time during the work week and to help with his social skills. Before Paw Play, he spent all his time at home and would get really overwhelmed and anxious in public - especially with other dogs. We'd dread seeing other dogs during walks because he'd let out a high-pitched squeal that had neighbors running outside to see what the heck was going on. After just a few months in Paw Play, we noticed his anxiety had dramatically decreased. He'll still get excited to see other dogs but is much more tolerant and will often just sniff and keep on walking. It's a miracle! We know he loves it and we love having a super tired pooch at the end of the day - clearly he's getting lots of exercise. Hunter gets excited when we pull into the parking lot and especially when he sees "Miss Barbara" his "teacher" at Paw Play. Barbara is super sweet, easy to work with and really responsive via phone and e-mail. We receive emailed photos once in a while of Hunter playing and he even came home with a Christmas Candy Cane over the holidays. Paw Play would get a "Pawfect 10" if the hours were a little more work friendly. The closing hours range from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. which is tough if you don't live and work nearby. An extra bonus would be a webcam we could dial into to see the pups at play.

Our cats were calmer and completely settled into their new home despite us only being together for 5 days before we left. I don't think that amazing level of calm and happiness could have happened without Gigi. We already planned 4 more trips with her and I know the boys are looking forward to spending time with her.
