Beautiful family oriented place to visit…read more Great place here for dates, kids birthday party, baseball teams to practice their swings(soft and fastball), golfers. Lots of free parking, large space that is well marked, organised and staffed. All events are outside, so dress accordingly to the weather. Inside the main house is the washrooms and food. They serve big scoops of Kawartha Diary with almost all the flavours made. For mini put, there are two courses to try; Shipwreck or the logging theme. Shipwreck is slightly more challenging. Somehow my kids got the par for the course which is labelled on a sign at each hole. They now think they're big shots and want to go pro, meanwhile my ball enjoyed the water features in the Shipwreck course. The batting cages are self explanatory. Sign at each cage tells you what to expect from ball type to speed level. One token gets 15 pitches, just get the 5 special pricing, it doesn't expire. Bring your own helmet and bat as the ones supplied may not be the greatest. This area is either empty or packed with teams going there to meet up and waiting for a certain pitch. It would be better if they could adjust cages depending on needs of the group. Otherwise the wait can be long.

And literally as soon as we were done purchasing the card 1 min later they then said ok you guys are able to start playing. so the timing was off by 34 min. and we were not from the area. came from Montreal. And the games are way over priced when we could go to Playdium around the other side of the building. So we mentioned since we are called up to play we won't play games and asked for a refund they refused even though we said we were from montreal with our ID. and was told. they don't expire. we're not going to drive from Montreal to Whitby to play games. basically told thanks for your money now play your card and shut it. from manager and managers manager on the phone. will not be back to support this place again. donated card to some young man.

I'm playing in a golf tournament next weekend and haven't touched the clubs in about a year…read more Luckily there's a driving range 2 mins from my in-laws place. This driving range is literally right next to the Barrie "airport" (more of an air strip but in any case). There are about 20 grass tees and about a dozen carpet tees off to the left. The place is well maintained and not too busy, even on a beautiful 25 degree sunny day on the May 2-4 weekend. The prices are reasonable (about $11 for a large bucket or $15 for a jumbo ~150 balls). There is a sand trap and a green with 4 holes by the carpet tees to practice your short game. There is also a mini golf but it's in a ditch, the carpet is in pretty bad shape and it looks like it hasn't been used in a few years. All in all, this is a very convenient and affordable driving range if you're living or visiting the north end of Barrie.

Not the best mini golf experience. Up until about the 15th hole, the course was not very exciting,…read morebesides the glow in the dark decor. The staff were super nice and the price wasn't bad at $16 per person for mini golf. There is an arcade at the entrance that is fun but warning, it's very expensive and the credits are consumed very quickly! We went through $80 worth in about 15 minutes, just waiting for our name to be called, despite that we had a reservation (they tell you to go early, now we know why). The other issue was that they didn't space the groups up enough so we spent a lot of time waiting in line for the next hole, and there's not much room so you feel like you're in the way of the course. We really wanted to like this place, especially for a good rainy day activity. Doubtful that we will be back.

I'd recommend this place as somewhere to screw around with your date in you're in the area. But some holes were really creat I didn't try any food or drinks so I can't speak on that but it is loud and dark in the place with strobe lights in certain areas.

The holes are short and gimmicky, making it quick to finish. We tried a variety of food like the deep dish pizza, nachos, and wings, and overall it was decent pub grub: crispy wings, solid pizza slices, nothing standout but good enough to pair with a game and drinks. Fun for groups or a low-key hangout nearby, but not a spot I'd rush back to. Worth a one-time visit if you're in the area.
