I LOVE Millstone! This was my first visit to this location and it did not disappoint. I love how cozy and cute it is inside, and the bar seating. I ordered the Gravy Chicken Biscuit with Buffalo chicken - gamechanger! Outstanding bite. Their biscuits are the best around. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Our order was ready super quick. A must try in this area! read more

Millstone Biscuit Co. - Gravy Buffalo Chicken Biscuit - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Pawleys Island, South Carolina

I absolutely love this treasure of a restaurant in Pawleys island. It is in the same area as Fresh Market PI Everyone there is so special and cares about providing the best service. Parking is right by the front door. There is such a variety of sandwiches. The food is delicious no matter what you get. I am partial to their Bacon Egg biscuit. And orange juice and coffee. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The restaurant is clean with big front windows to let the natural light in. I've never was disappointed with any meal I got there. Check this out yourself and tell them Willie sent you. read more

Millstone Biscuit Co. - Me heading out early for a mill biscuit sandwich for after my swim. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Pawleys Island, South Carolina

Such a great spot for breakfast and lunch! We enjoyed everything, but their country fried steak is so tender and flavorful. Will absolutely make this a staple any time we are visiting Pawley's! read more

My son and I needed a quick breakfast on our way back home from vacation and stopped here because it was close to our hotel. I ordered a sausage, egg & cheese biscuit sandwich and my son got bacon and toast. We didn't have to wait at all for our food to arrive. My biscuit sandwich was delicious! The biscuit was so nice a fluffy and with the cheddar cheese tasted amazing. I can't say enough about the biscuit. It's one of the best I've ever had. My son enjoyed his toast and bacon. The bacon was cooked exactly how he likes it. The service was wonderful and it's so cute inside. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to come back next summer! read more

I stopped in for the first time on August 25, 2026, to get breakfast to go. As soon as I walked inside I was met with warm greetings of "welcome in" and " good morning" from the friendly staff. I was provided the menu and ordered the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with a side of sausage gravy along with a side of fried apples and a coffee. One of the staff members, Elizabeth ,chatted with me about their early bird discount if you arrive before 8:00 a.m. and talked about their menu and helped me with my coffee. I felt like I was a regular guest already! Thank you Elizabeth and the staff for making me feel at home. The biscuit was homemade fluffy goodness and the sausage gravy and fried apples were delicious! I have added this to one of my favorite places when visiting the area. I will be back! read more

Want to feed the family without breaking the bank? Millstone Biscuit Co. has got great prices for great food, and no tipping necessary! The interior is decorated well, but you seat yourself, order yourself, and fill up your water/coffee yourself so there's no one to tip! This style of service isn't for everyone, but for those looking for something budget friendly, it's a great option. The biscuits are huge and taste great! They also have a drive-through for those needing breakfast/coffee on the go. We were skeptical on the Gravy Chicken Biscuit, but it ended up being everyone's favorite and worth the price! I would recommend the Small Plate ($7.99) as it has a little of everything for a good price! read more

Wow--so glad we found this friendly place. I am a biscuit nut and these are some of the best ever. Flaky, light, and home made. Delicious. And every type of preparation you can imagine. Lots of biscuit dishes and sandwiches. The bayou biscuit with added chicken was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Amazing! Super reasonable prices and very friendly staff--don't hesitate coming here, you'll be happy you did! read more

Nice lol family run spot with good food; great service and a reason to come back! It's small but packs a punch! The biscuits are huge, soft and fluffy! They definitely know how to cook an over medium egg and the breakfast potatoes were cooked just right with a smidge of seasoning and by adding the grilled onions they were GREAT! They have community coffee bar with assorted mugs and coffee that I think is from a local roaster! Oh and their fried apples are the bomb they peel them and it was not too much cinnamon as I prefer and just the perfect sweet! The chef (possible owner) asked how we enjoyed it and the young lady who took our order checked on us several times! We will definitely add this to our places to stop while in town! read more

I happened upon the Millstone Biscuit Co in Murrell's Inlet three years ago, and left a 5 star review. This rating is no different for the Pawley's Island location. They truly offer up delicious food, especially their biscuits. This time I ordered the Greek Yogurt bowl and was pleased with it. Well....truth be told, I was sad because my tummy's desire would have been a chicken biscuit, but, dietary restrictions encouraged me to go with a healthier option. No worries, though! Everyone else in our party ordered a variety of their famous biscuit sandwiches, and not one bad review in the crowd. Everyone was pleased! I did sneak a bite of my sister's chicken biscuit and vow to be in better dietary condition the next time we visit, as to indulge in the fluffy biscuit deliciousness!! Great, friendly staff and a good amount of tables give this place a great beach town vibe! read more

Great new find in PI. Gotta get the bologna egg and cheese on the fluffiest biscuit you'll ever find. The breakfast burritos are also good but must have a biscuit on the side read more

Great breakfast/lunch spot! There is decent seating arrangement within the small venue and there are an additional 4 tables outside. The service was quick as you place your order and also pay before you take a seat (you can pick your own spot as well). All the staff were very friendly, quick to ensure you have everything you need, and that the quality of the food is where it should be. The food was out in about 5 minutes. I ordered the country breakfast: 2 over easy eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1 bowl of grits, and a biscuit. In my life, most biscuits I have are dry and lack taste but not the case here. The biscuit was large, moist and full of flavor. The grits, eggs and bacon were great as well! Planning to come back tomorrow! read more

Great food and excellent service. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was so good! We will go again soon.

Great people and awesome food, quick and hearty. If I lived closer I would eat here every morning.

I was headed to the donut shop and turned in the wrong driveway when I saw Millstone biscuit company. It looked appealing so I decided to change my mind and go to Millstone instead I'm glad I did. Service was quick at the counter. You help yourself to coffee here and they have real mugs. I decided to sit outside. I enjoyed sitting outside and eating an awesome biscuit sandwich. It was perfect! might be a regular if I lived here. I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast sandwich. They are a little pricey but now everything is it seems. Very filling. Delicious! read more

Cute little breakfast shop. Ordered bacon, egg and cheese biscuit to go. The biscuit was very bready more like a bun than a biscuit and the egg and bacon was cold. It was wrapped in tinfoil which seemed they were attempting to keep it warm but it was more like they had it pre done and did not attempt to warm it up. read more

Ordered three biscuits and have been waiting over an hour without food. Only 15 people in the restaurant with 6 employees. The cook is making one single egg at a time. They said the delay was due to made when ordered only but breakfast biscuits taking an hour+ is ridiculous. read more

Does this look like a $10 bacon & cheese biscuit to you? And how about those "hash browns" masquerading as a potato cake? Nope, this is not McDonalds. Had to stop at Mc D's on way home because this place had no fresh ice tea (what, a southern inspired restaurant with only bottled tea?). The biscuit was good & the service friendly, although they messed up my simple order. read more

Wish there were more than 5 stars. Scratch biscuits make that breakfast, brunch or lunch betrter, right? Fresh, warm, really tasty topped with bacon, egg, avocado and tomato. This was second visit. First time it was (fried) chicken cordon bleu - just like it sounds, only better because of the biscuit. Family owned, service is welcoming and prompt. Outside seating - coffee is self-serve. Way up on the list for us breakfast connoisseurs. read more

The whole package! Swung in here on a bit of a lark and will certainly be back. Great atmosphere, very friendly and unassuming. There are certainly regulars whom the staff know by name, but they don't make first timers feel like outsiders. Food was tasty and as advertised. My wife was only going to "have a taste" of her apple biscuit and ended up eating the entire thing. Certainly somewhere we will be returning to shortly! read more

Nice, cozy breakfast/brunch spot. The ONLY negative to this establishment in my eyes is the fact that you have to get your own water out of a water jug in the corner and no fountain drinks. The food though... they somehow managed to take biscuits and gravy and send it to another atmosphere with their Open Face Chicken and Gravy biscuit. Best biscuits and gravy I've had in my life. The biscuits are the size of a newborn's head. The staff was incredibly friendly and greeted everyone with a smile! Very convenient location. read more

Our first time in today ... not affiliated in any way. The food was very good. The biscuits were unbelievable and thus their name! Ordered the their Millstone breakfast of eggs, biscuit, gravy, bacon, potatoes and apples. Scrambled eggs were very nice, not dry or mushy. Food was nice a warm ... the guy cooking it delivered straight from kitchen. Not too crowded at 10am but steady anyway. The young lady at the front is very personable but business like . The restaurant itself was new and pleasant... only downside is Diet Pepsi vs Coke (but they may have a stash in the back if you ask;) read more
