Thank you Brewed Awakening for a delicious breakfast and great cup of coffee! Friendliest staff and good place to eat.

Stopped for lunch on our way to Myrtle Beach. We prefer small locally owned places that are quaint and hospitable. Brewed Awakening did not disappoint. The atmosphere was just what we anticipated. A friendly server jumped up from a nearby booth where she was polishing silverware to greet us and escort us to a table. My husband ate a salad while I had a club sandwich, that was huge. Several people came in to get coffee to go. It was a popular spot. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Fantastic food. We walked in and it's a little spot. We sat down and you could smell the croissants. So of course I had to have a breakfast sandwich to try the croissants. You get 2 eggs and I went with sausage 2 sausage patties. I also got a side of hash browns. The food was delicious. My wife got an omelette with bacon and peppers. They do not skimp on portions you will get your moneys worth. Everything was terrific if you are in Georgetown definitely a great little spot to stop. Service was great as well. You won't be disappointed.

Deliciousness. The sausage links and bacon is the way to go.

Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Meal 5/5 We're just passing through town but this would be our regular breakfast stop if we were local. Very good!

When in Georgetown we always like to make a quick stop here. I am a huge fan of the egg white and cheese on either a croissant or a brioche bun. The lemonade I purchased today was just ok. Definitely fountain lemonade vs fresh squeezed. The service was also ok. I brought my sweet golden retriever whom everyone loves and the girl flat out ignored her. No offer for a pup cup either. If you don't like pups, I don't like you and wont be supporting your business.

Loved this small breakfast cafe!! Service was great and the food was cooked to order and came out pretty quick for being so busy!! We would definitely make the hour drive to come back!!

Headed over to this wonderful coffee shop morning after our wedding day. I ordered a vanilla cafe latte that was absolutely delicious. The smoked salmon Benedict with hash-browns was an absolute 11/10 order. The service was wonderful as well. So glad we stumbled upon this gem!

So we've been to the Purr & Pour twice now - both times we've made a point to drive into Georgetown to visit this cat cafe while we're down at the beach. It is located in historic Georgetown in their downtown area right along the river. The building is almost on the corner of Front and Orange Street. There is plenty of street parking. It's recommended you call or book online to reserve a spot in advance just so you are guaranteed maximum scritchy play times with the kitties. All contributions go towards the care of these adoptable cats. Once you check in at the front desk, you are greeted by all the available kittehs who are ready to play. There are plenty of toys for interaction, but also some safe spaces for kittehs who need some quiet time away from socialization. Amazingly this place does not smell like cats or kitty litter. The folks who run this cat cafe are the sweetest peeps and have the biggest hearts for these adoptable fluffies. Pro tip: if you reserve the last spot of the day, you get to stay a little later and help feed the kittehs and talk with the owners. There is also a great gift shop full of fair-priced, pet-themed merchandise. Your reservation also comes with a free beverage to be enjoyed in the gift shop area.

There are only a few tables, but they aren't cramped. You order at the counter and just take a seat, and your food and drinks will be served to you. I'd guess there's only two people working here on a random weekday. Expect your food to take a bit, but it's completely fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were large but balanced. I often can't finish sweet crepes due to getting sugar'd out. This one felt very focused on the fruit and allowing the Nutella to take a passenger, enhancing vibe instead. Omelette was cheese-central. I might ask for lighter cheese next time, but it was ridiculously delicious too. Croissants were SUPER light and fluffy, and they get served warm for you. Really tasty, perfectly baked. Bathroom was a single unisex room and older, but it was clean. Two booths that'll seat four people as well as multiple two-person tables with wooden, no-armed chairs. No stairs, and while it'd be a tight fit, a wheelchair could fit in here. (I don't think the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though.) The guy running the place wasn't super friendly, but he wasn't *unfriendly*, and he was very efficient. He also popped in to see if we needed things and was there to deliver silverware and other things before we asked for them. If staff reads this: please replace/update the folded, faded paper signs on the outside of the building. That's part of why we haven't given this place a try in so long - and I'm sad we hadn't!
