I've wanted to stop at Beanz because I drive by all the time but it's often closed because of the early hours (which I totally understand as it's a coffee shop). Well I finally caught them open on a Friday before 4pm because I was able to leave town early. I ended up chatting with the owner and he's a super nice guy. He's been running the place for almost 7 years and the hours are based on him running the place on his own. If you catch them closed one day, he may have just needed a day off because they are open 7 days a week. I wanted something cold and asked about the iced cafe which he told me had a shot of espresso and that the ice cubes were made of kona coffee so there was no watering down the drink. I was sold. While he put it together I snagged some chocolate chip cookies which were the perfect car snack and some espresso candies that I remember from back in the day. Plus my coffee was great too. I hope that I can connect with them whenever I'm driving that route and will definitely be more inclined to stop if I see them open.

So we've been to the Purr & Pour twice now - both times we've made a point to drive into Georgetown to visit this cat cafe while we're down at the beach. It is located in historic Georgetown in their downtown area right along the river. The building is almost on the corner of Front and Orange Street. There is plenty of street parking. It's recommended you call or book online to reserve a spot in advance just so you are guaranteed maximum scritchy play times with the kitties. All contributions go towards the care of these adoptable cats. Once you check in at the front desk, you are greeted by all the available kittehs who are ready to play. There are plenty of toys for interaction, but also some safe spaces for kittehs who need some quiet time away from socialization. Amazingly this place does not smell like cats or kitty litter. The folks who run this cat cafe are the sweetest peeps and have the biggest hearts for these adoptable fluffies. Pro tip: if you reserve the last spot of the day, you get to stay a little later and help feed the kittehs and talk with the owners. There is also a great gift shop full of fair-priced, pet-themed merchandise. Your reservation also comes with a free beverage to be enjoyed in the gift shop area.

The menu was larger than we expected. The donuts are terrific. They aren't super unique in their creativity or recipes, but they are crafted well and are brioche style, not cake like at all. Very light! They are a real treat and worth the cost. Despite the hiccup in the lobby ordering system and its chaos, we will definitely return to try other donuts we didn't try this first time in.

They mostly have your standard breakfast fare along with some sandwiches. There are only a few tables, but they aren't cramped. You order at the counter and just take a seat, and your food and drinks will be served to you. I'd guess there's only two people working here on a random weekday. Expect your food to take a bit, but it's completely fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were large but balanced. I often can't finish sweet crepes due to getting sugar'd out. This one felt very focused on the fruit and allowing the Nutella to take a passenger, enhancing vibe instead. Omelette was cheese-central. I might ask for lighter cheese next time, but it was ridiculously delicious too. Croissants were SUPER light and fluffy, and they get served warm for you. Really tasty, perfectly baked. Bathroom was a single unisex room and older, but it was clean. Two booths that'll seat four people as well as multiple two-person tables with wooden, no-armed chairs. No stairs, and while it'd be a tight fit, a wheelchair could fit in here. (I don't think the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though.) The guy running the place wasn't super friendly, but he wasn't *unfriendly*, and he was very efficient.
