We needed a new front quarter panel, two driver-side doors, and a back quarter panel. They told us it would take two weeks, but it took over three weeks. Because of the extra time, we had to pay additional for the rental car since the insurance only covered it for a specific number of weeks. They did an excellent job on the repairs, and the Traverse looks great! They have 11 locations throughout NJ.

The first one was for a minor repair to my car due to a bike rack falling in our garage and damaging the lift gate of my SUV. Their entire process of providing a clear, understandable estimate to booking to completion of work is efficient and professional. The cost was very reasonable, as well. The work was flawless. Most recently, I sent my husband in to see about fixing a spot on his brand new truck after he rubbed against a cement pylon in a parking garage. The folks at Britland gave him an estimate but said he'd probably be better off just letting them buff out the rub marks and putting some clearcoat to ensure no rust would occur since it didn't seem to have gotten down to the metal. And they didn't even charge him for buffing out the marks!! They offered excellent advice that allowed him to make a decision about whether he wanted to repair an adjacent plastic part. I am so impressed with their professionalism and commitment to customer service and doing the right thing. A rare thing these days!!

Advised the insurance carrier and fully expected approval and repairs to take place. Unfortunately this insurance company had other ideas and refused to consider anything other than total loss. But thats my issue, not Chatham Collision. Chatham Collision were absolutely fantastic in assisting me through the entire process. I have had other scrapes and bruises to vehicles in the past and I can wholly swear that I have never been treated with more respect, more professionalism, more thoroughness than given to me by this firm. Their contact man Sergio, was always ready for my phone calls with words of advice and encouragement in handling the claim properly. He never once pressured me to get the issue settled immediately and instead constantly advised me not to worry about the car being on their premises for a period of time and that he would always be there to assist when possible. The end result was the insurance company would not be moved and declared the vehicle a total loss. To this day, I cannot understand how they consider a total loss of $16500. to be a better conclusion than paying for repairs of $10,000. Hopefully I won't have need for Chatham Collision in the future, BUT I would drive a full day, or more, if necessary to have any repairs done to my vehicles by Chatham Collision. At that point, LC was going to charge storage fees of $250/day if they did not do the work. I had to pay several thousand dollars to cover the insurance short fall to get my repaired car back. So, if your insurance company is unlikely to meet the LC estimate, take your car out of the shop (and pay the LC diagnosis cost) until you're sure your insurance company will cover the bill, or go to another body shop.
