Attentive, thorough, professional, and thoughtful service. They are a Honda-certified shop but they repair other makes.

Nick was fantastic…read more I showed interest in one of his used cars that he was selling and he immediately responded. He even ran around the day prior to me meeting him to make sure the cars title was up to date. I had to drive about an hour away to get to him, but it was absolutely worth it. Nick left the car on the lift specifically so I could take a look under the car and he gladly popped the hood. He was very courteous and understanding. He disclosed anything and everything - I didn't have to question his honesty at all. He is very upfront. He allowed for me to take a test drive around the area and during the test drive he explained all of the details of the car - he also disclosed all of the improvements he had done to the car in the last month to get it ready to be sold. He provided a list as well and documentation as proof. I accepted the offer and Nick was patient enough to wait for me to go and grab a check from the bank. When I came back we had a brief talk about how to transfer the car, get a new registration and plates. This was the smoothest experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car. Nick makes it simple, and easy. He did this all on his day off - I am so thankful to him. Nick just got a customer. Anytime I have an issue with my car, I will be going to Nick.

I tried to use this place earlier this year. I found them after I was told that they specialize in…read moreGerman cars such as Porsche. Their website is very confusing because it seems like they focus mostly on trucks, but then there are some small sections that say they do specialize on German cars too. I called them about an issue that I had and they told me that they could handle it. The day that I set up for my car to be taken there, they told me that they couldn't handle what I needed.

I highly recommend this place! Ive come here before and always had great service but today they…read morewent above and beyond! I pulled in with a completely flat tire right at 5pm as they were closing. They helped me change it to the spare so I could get home. I am so glad I didn't have to change it myself or wait for AAA and my dog thanks them too. Thank you so much!!! I'll be in tomorrow for a new tire. You guys are the BEST!

I went in to change the tires on my BMW m240i from 2017…read more 1st: I took the car back and all 4 tires' pressure was off. Around 37psi in the front and 28psi in the back, which are completely wrong considering that on the side of the door it says 35psi front and 40psi back. I talked with a mechanic there and he said to come back another day because the mechanic that installed my tires wasn't there. I told him I had to take a flight and he said it wasn't a problem and i could have come back a later day. 2nd: The vin number said the tires are staggered but i showed the mechanic that my rims and old tires weren't staggered, and he agreed with me and made me buy all 4 new tires the same size. Problem: When I called back complaining about my back left tire being COMPLETELY FLAT he said first that it was because my tires were staggered (he agreed with me that they weren't before the tire change) and then that my rim was bent. I requested the time of exit of the vehicle from the shop and the time of re-entry of the mechanic into the shop so to exclude any joy ride. They tried to change subject multiple times and ultimately told me that they wouldn't have provided it to me. Legal actions have been started to resolve this issue and i will update my review as soon as the verdict comes out. PS: from their responses, I felt like i wasn't the first and only one with this problem, so, after talking with friends that already brought their cars there and further research online, I found out I'm not the only one that had this issue with this particular Malvis store. This store has a long history of joy rides in faster cars so DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE.

Last week I dropped off our car for a safety check and oil change. I did not have an appointment…read more Ramon, who was working in the "front of the house" welcomed me, gave me his full attention while speaking to me and answered my questions patiently, in spite of the shop being busy on the phone and with other "walk in" customers. My visit was positive in every way, in large part thanks to Ramon. I am thankful to the technician, as well. The car was ready ahead of the scheduled time for picking it up. I recommend this Firestone dealer to everyone. Their mission of keeping older cars running safely and efficiently is demonstrated each time I visit.

Very disappointed with my experience at Firestone in Springfield, NJ on 6/20/2025…read more I went in for an oil change and was told my DieHard Gold battery (installed by them in 4/18/2024) had an acid leak. I was told it was under warranty and I'd only pay $35 for installation. When I went to check out, I was suddenly charged $82.98 due to a "prorated" fee, something that was never mentioned before the work was done. When I questioned it, the person at the counter was rude and dismissive, saying "What do you want me to do, take the battery out?" That's not a real option, it felt like pressure. He gave a fake apology and blamed me for a "misunderstanding," but I was clearly misled. I later confirmed the battery has a 36-month free replacement warranty, and Firestone failed to honor it. On top of that, their attitude was completely unprofessional.

I usually write reviews for restaurants, food is my thing. Not Cars, but my recent experience here…read moreat The Midas is Sunmit was such a breath of Fresh air, I wanted to express my Gratitude. It's NEVER fun dealing with car troubles, NEVER, but from the phone call I made of "when am I come in?", to the service, to the short wait time, to the affordability, I have to say, it was actually a great experience. I was taken care of by Michelle, the Manager, and when you are someone like me who knows next to nothing about cars, it's so reassuring when someone takes the time to explain things to you. It just goes to show, it's about the people you deal with and not just the product you get. I ' m glad I called and will continue to service my car problems. Here.

Get a second opinion on upsell attempts!!!!!!…read more I went back in May of for an oil change and was told by the service manager that my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced - even though my car had just over 30k miles on it. He said that the pads were worn to the screws and were digging into the rotors and that it was a real safety issue. As I drive mostly on the highway, this didn't make sense to me - so I didn't get it done. Three months later, I had to get a new tire (went to a different shop - not Midas) and asked them to check all the brakes ---- they said they were fine. Then this week, I had to take the car to the dealer for a software update - and they also inspected the brakes and said they were fine (added a pic of the evaluation from their report). So either they don't know how to diagnose brake issues - or (at least in this instance) they mislead customers in order to upsell unnecessary services. I would recommend getting a second opinion on any "strongly suggested" additional service recommendations.
