Service and food was great. Good family oriented restaurant, love the option you can choose between coal or brick oven . Steak was perfectly cooked and waitress named Sabrina was super cordial and professional read more

This was the first time at Millies, my boyfriend & i decided to go out for dinner in Staten Island and see if the pizza here was really as good as it looked. Upon entering, we were greeted very nice and the wait was about 15 minutes even though it was pretty busy! that's always great. The server was so sweet, very quick and the food arrived. BTW- for $20 each we gad unlimited food pizza and dessert.. doesn't get better than that. We are very picky when it comes to pizza but the pizza was fresh, and delicious! definitely worth 5+ stars!! read more

My kids love the meatballs here. So when they crave for meatballs, we come by here 。 Huge portions for hungry children. Worth it! I ordered arugula salad (before) and today it's Millies huge salad. Huge too and yummy. Beats applebees around the corner. My kids said the it's 5 out of 5 and 10 out of 10. My salad is huge for $12 (I'm in a diet). Good value and tastes good. read more

Food was horrible as was the service..They should close this place down & reopen with a new staff & menu option

Ordered a calzone Can't say it was anything great; can't say it was bad. What I will say is one menu says $14 cheese calzone and another $18. I paid $21+ with tax and a extra filling. So it's either false advertising or a misunderstanding but either way, it wasn't worth what I paid for it. read more

Like most of the pizzas. My favorite is pesto pishasto with sausage. It's an acquired taste but I love it. Like the apps... the crostini is good. Love the Arcadia salad. The Nutella pizza is good too. They need bananas. read more

Great food, especially the meatball mozzarella special; The atmosphere is very cold and not inviting. The service is very good. However, the feel is like you're in a cafeteria. The decor is less desirable with metal tables and metal fixtures. read more

My wife and I were shopping and I decided to wait for her at Millie's. I had never been there before. The hostess greeted me with a smile and when I wanted to go to the bar she lead the way. The bartender was great and I apologize I can't remember his name. I will add it the next time I go back. They had a good selection of tap beer and the one he suggested was excellect. When my wife joined me we decided to order an appetizer. He suggested the Chargrilled Oysters. I love oysters and clams so I was in for something a little different and they far exceeded my expectations. I can not tell you the ingredients but you will want to use the bread to clean up the serving plate. The sauce was excellent. I am looking forward to returning. The restaurant was clean, the service was great and what we ate was outstanding. read more

Great food great service. If you haven't tried the flame roasted oysters, you don't know what you're missing. The meatballs in vodka sauce were awesome. I've tried a few different pies from their extensive selection. All were great read more

Sould have known by the prices on the menu, that this place made its money on the only sandwich it would ever sell you, about double that if the average pizzeria and about 30% less tasty than a school lunch. Even the soda was way overpriced. Should have realized this place was empty for a reason. Definitely will not visit again. read more

Now this is a place that is liable to take over an entire city's Italian cuisine business. I walked into Millie's thinking it was just another all you can eat joint with good prices, good quantity but decent food at best. The food was fantastic; everything from the appetizers to the amazing pizzas. I'm not a meat eater and so I won't review their meatballs, but from what I heard; they are very good. But as a pizza connoisseur I can say that their pizza is some of the best I've ever had and I've been to all of New York City's best pizzerias. Their coal fired clam pie was loaded with clams, mini clams unfortunately, but still loaded. It was topped with an abundance of garlic and scallions and a butter wine sauce. The crust on the coal fired was not as thin as the quintessential NYC slice, it was fluffy, and light, but it was still crispy on the outside. I then ordered a dozen of the char-grilled oysters. Oh my goodness, I am still thinking about them! They are flame fired, topped with butter, herbs and red pepper. Absolutely delicious. I can't end this review without mentioning the great service, and friendly, outgoing waiters and waitresses who really were attentive and engaged in conversation even though they were so busy. I can't wait to go back and try their wood fired authentic Neopolitans and calzones! read more

Had another great dinner at Millies last night. We had the millies signature pizza, It was delicious. Also meatballs with vodka sauce and a sausage and pepper sandwich ( one of the best I ever had) when we left, my car would not start, a young man on Millies staff noticed and tried to help us, I didn't get his name, but thank you! Always a great meal at Millies read more

Tried to make a reservation for 13 people and was told that they would only accept 10 people on the reservation. Very frustrating as we supported the restaurant since it opened and though out the pandemic. Restaurants crying about business and then turning away customers, sorry Millie's but we will never come to your restaurant again. read more

We've been coming here for a long time and it's always been a solid option and great addition to the Charleston area. We've always enjoyed the food, service has always been good, and it's very modern and clean inside. The best thing ever though is the addition of their INCREDIBLE homemade mozzarella sticks. I think about them at least once a day, no joke. read more

Went there specifically to try the Steak menu after hearing so much about it and it was unbelievable! The porterhouse for two truly is the best steak on Staten Island and with a salad and two sides (we got home fries and broccoli rabe) is a great deal. There were several other tables getting the porterhouse and everyone was raving about it. The service was fantastic and we got the meatballs for an app and they were delicious. We will definitely be back and we are telling all our friends about the steak. Next time we will get some pictures LOL read more

Millie's - Coal fired meatball parm vodka - Italian Near Me - Staten Island, New York

Came here Friday with my wife for dinner, and I'm glad we stopped in. I've been wanting to come here since they opened. My wife didn't want to come but I begged her and I got her to go! And she was happy with the service and food as was I. We started with a salad with candied walnuts and a thick slice of bacon on it. It was huge and we took the left overs home! Also we did a special appetizer they had I don't remember the name of it but it was bread with ricotta baked in and on it! It was amazing! Then we did a wood fired pizza of vodka meat ball parm pizza. The pizza was great and huge. It was a great experience all around and the restaurant was so nice and had a great look ! We will be coming here again soon. read more

Wonderful and delicious food along with friendly waitstaff and manager. Would visit again.

$$$$, food was average, cost was high,,,$3.00 for a cup of coffee!! Calazone $19.00, Really!!! The Calazone might be fresh, but a 35 minute wait isn't worth the average quality,,it was a spinach calazone with raw spinach,,,,it would have been nice if it was sauteed in garlic to give some flavor to the calazone,,,but it wasn't...meatballs were just average,,,,I won't be back!!! For 2 the bill was $44.00,,,just a expensive pizza place!!! read more

Decor was aesthetically pleasing, staff seemed pleasant, energetic and pretty. Got seated at 6pm, right next to the register and work station, even though there were only 3 other tables of guests. Didnt want to look like a Karen so I did not complain or ask to be moved. Waitress was nice took our order at 6:10pm 3 sodas 1 grilled chicken salad 1 calzone And 1 special- Small mixed green salad Meatballs in vodka sauce I coal fired personal pie with eggplant 625pm We get our drinks. 640pm one salad comes out ,no grilled chicken 645, second salad comes out 650 calzone and meatballs. The calzone had about 2 lbs of cheese inside, which may be great for some people, but the calzone was brought to the table cut into 3 pieces and the cheese created a soupy soggy mess. The meatballs were pretty bland and they were swimming in a bowl of vodka sauce which wasn't bad and if there was bread on the table, I may have considered dipping it in the sauce, mostly because I was waiting for almost an hour for the pizza that really only takes 5 to 7 minutes to cook if it was really coal fired. 7:05, still no pizza and we asked the waitress about it she said she would check and didnt come back. We had to ask for takeaway containers since my wife and daughter were done eating. I saw an older gentleman who I assumed was the manager and called him over to tell him to cancel the order for the pizza that we had been there for over an hour and everyone else was done eating. He told me to wait a few minutes and it would be right out. I said no thank you, and i will gladly pay for the rest of the meal. Thought we'd get the check but he mumbled angry and walked away. 7:15 still waiting for the check (asked the waitress twice at this point) and a bus bou brings the pizza in a to go box to our table. The pizza was comped we paid the bill and still left a rip because it seemed that our waitress was the only one working. Got home about 20 minutes later and i have to sah the pizza from 7-11 has more flavor. Coal fired...no way. The dough was very thick and chewy, no crisp, no crunch soggy. The sauce was very plain, the mozzarella was chewy and the eggplant was slightly bitter with the skin on. My other older children, who were not with us, tasted the pizza when we got home and thought it was no bueno. Won't be going back there. My suggestion is to try DaddyO's next door or go across the street to Z Two for more authentic italian food from a greek diner. Edit: next day had a bad case of the squirts. read more

Millie's has become one of our very favorite restaurants. On our last trip we started with 2 servings of Arcadian Salad and Arugula Salad, EXCELLENT! I had the coal fired Millie's Signature Pie, my wife had the Sweet Italian Sausage and Broccoli Rabe. EXCELLENT! We finished with the Nutella Pizza for dessert. EXCELLENT! Service was very professional and attentive. Will be back soon! read more

Millie has great meatballs!!!!!! The only bad things I can say is they need to expand their appetizer menu; very limited! It's situated in the of a back parking lot in tottenvillle, and half of their sign on the outside was not lit up! The meatballs were excellent three (3) normal size meatballs in sauce were pricey, However; quite tasty and I highly recommend you try them! The pizza they have a huge selection made to order between coal fire or wood....... we had a vodka pie and a mashed potato pie...... both were excellent. They have a full bar with seating, and the service was attentive but could have been better! Overall it was good I would definitely go back, I just hope it lasts hopefully they will fix their sign so people can see it...... read more

Amazing pizza absolutely love the vodka sauce. The burrata was amazing I love mozzarella and it's homemade which is so awesome

The service was excellent, but it ends there. The salad was not as ordered; the busboy did diligently clean up and set up tables but then would sit in the bar area while the floor was littered with garbage. Please note, there were only 4 tables occupied, 14 people in all. Meatballs were cold. I haven't been here in a while because prior to this experienced the same concerns. Speaking for myself, I don't have these conditions at home so why go out only to bring the leftovers home to be heated and served in a clean environment. Sadly, I am a never to return customer. read more

Decided to try Millie's this afternoon and was wondering if I made a mistake as there was no one there at 1 in the afternoon. We were greeting by a lovely young lady who seated us and immediately took our drink orders... there are 3 different types of pies... coal , wood and both. We decided to try one margarita and a vodka pie after enjoying the very large Millie house salad( enough for 4)... salad was tasty and we all enjoyed the vodka pie more than the margarita but they were both tasty and filled with fresh mozzarella.... by the time we left a few people came in and a few people picked up but I'm hoping that when the movie theatre opens will bring lots of business to keep this business going... worth the visit! read more

The food was ok, decent but had better. They ran out of fresh mozzarella and they could have given more sauce, but food was tasty and it's right by the Regal theater so that's a plus. They had a $20 all you can eat deal, but you couldn't take anything out. read more

We have been hearing about this place for months now, so we decided to try it. It was a long ways travel but it was worth it! The truffle pizza was to die for. The meatballs were perfect! Had a lovely lunch today at Millie's. I'll start by saying the decor is beautiful. Red, black and silver. Modern yet casual. The chain link portrait of who I assume is Millie is amazing. We split the arugula salad, it was delicious. Beautifully presented and the dressing I'll be craving for some time. Next we had the pistachio pesto coal fired pizza. I love the coal fire dough, so airy. The pizza was so good. Very nice place. Oh and there is a full bar!! Always a plus! read more

Ive been to Millie's Restaurant now a handful of times.I hope for the owner the location becomes better once the movie theater opens next door as many people aren't even sure where this parking lot is. I don't blame him for not seeing as much foot traffic as one would think. I see advertisements all over. It's next to Sketchers and TJ Max Folks just look past Target. (I've explained this to numerous friends I've recommend Millie's to). Decor, The floor layout At Millie's has Three sections. Outdoor table seating, indoor main restaurant, and bar. You will see a hostess when you enter. - The main restaurant section has an amazing chain linked Mural. Furnished w/ Red & Silver chairs and tables. You also get a full view of the Coal and Wood fired Ovens. - The Bar has a great selection of drafts on Tap and plenty of TVs to support any sports fanatics life. Bartenders are friendly, courteous and make sure glasses are never empty. -Outside eating great for those Fall, Spring & Summer cool nights. Service, Millie's is working through some early hiccups and this is the only reason for not receiving perfect rating. I will say the owner and manager both corrected issues in timely fashion for mistakes during my visit. I won't get carried away on the service as most new openings run into this. If you have an issue don't be afraid to speak up. Don't just write a review. The management was extremely friendly and apologetic. Menu, A wide variety of Salads, Pizza, Meatballs, Hero's and calzones. If you ask and it's not on menu they sometimes can compromise. To be noted Currently Pasta & Chicken Cutlets are not a menu item. Food I've ordered Main Course All around very good. -Arugula salad can easily serve (4) as an appetizer or (2) if sharing as a meal. This is a big salad. -Chargrilled Oysters, Yes these are a must try. For those who may have had them over salted. I'm one who does not like extra salt or cook w/ salt. I ask for the them to be lightly sprinkled w cheese and get it on the side to add afterwards to your taste. -The Meatballs are great. Excellent flavor. Offered in couple different platters, Ricotta, fresh mozzarella, or prosciutto. The Red Sauce is top notch. For those who want a leaner meatball. Turkey meatballs are on the menu as well. -The Pizza Dough has great flavor. The selections from specialty to original are all worth a try. Select from wood or coal fired. I've tried some the specialties clam, spinach n fig, prosciutto but my favorite is still the classic Margherita pie. -The eggplant platter my fiancée said was delicious. Nice large platter perfectly sized cut eggplant topped w/ melting mozzarella and the sauce. Perfecto. Dessert, you should definitely give the Nutella topped w/ Cannoli Cream a whirl. You will not be disappointed. All in all my experiences at Millies have all been positive overall. I look forward to my next meal here with my friends and family. read more

My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open in months. We finally got a chance to go and we weren't disappointed. The menu is split between wood fire and coal fired pizzas. With a large selection of specialty pies to choose from. Not to mention their famous meatball appetizers and pots. They also sell a wide variety of local and craft beers , plus wine bar. This place is ideal for a family meal or date night. We decided to order one coal and one wood fire pizza. Both were surprisingly delicious and filling, plus the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone I know. Pizzas are off the charts !!!!! read more

Went for the $20 all-you-can- eat menu today. The host wanted to sit us next to the door until we asked for something in the back. He then sat us next to the ovens, which was fine, until we looked to the left and saw chemicals and cleaning supplies right next to us. Since we sat next to the kitchen we noticed flies all around the food which was not very appetizing. As for the food, the meatballs left a strange after taste. A lot of sauce was thrown on top to make up for the taste. We also ordered two small pies but it was over 30 minutes so we canceled. Our waitress seemed preoccupied making the Nutella pies and focused on tables of more than 2 customers. I could have had better service at the Applebee's across the way. The $20 deal is a great premise, however, I will not be returning. Update: I've been suffering from food poisoning for the past 24 hours. The 2 beef meatballs had to be the culprit as it's the only thing I ate in its entirety. Beware of beef sitting out of the fridge for too long. read more

Officially obsessed with Millies. Everything is so indulgent and fresh. I waited for my party to show up and the bartender was super informative with the menu and drink options. If you're a wino (like me), this is the place for you... they have so many wines on tap, and different types of wine. If you're a pizza lover, you gotta come here. The bread pudding is the best I ever had. It comes w a side of caramel iced cream. The different options are amazing. Ask for Nicholas to be your server. He is super attentive, informative and insanely polite. I will certainly be back. read more
