Somehow I've never really been tempted by Millies Cookies. Not that I'm not a cookie person, just that if I'm going to have one it's usually when I sit down in a cafe with a coffee. If I'm on the go and I want a coffee and something to take away it's probably breakfast time and I want a croissant, not a cookie. Probably I'm not really the target market here.
However, I did find myself in the St Enoch Centre, doing a little shopping and feeling a craving for something sweet. They had no queue so I decided to finally give them a shot and bought a milk chocolate cookie. The person serving highlighted a few offers and I get the impression that there's usually a few of these in rotation.
It wasn't a huge cookie, but it was good. Sweet, slightly cripsy, slightly chewy. A standard American style cookie and a size that meant I didn't feel gross after eating it. I'm not sure I'll be running back to order hundreds more, but I'd definitely think about getting one if I needed a sugar boost on the go and I happened to be passing. read more
