Her nose has impeccable sensibility and being able to refill any vessel I choose is wonderful. This lends itself also to her incense. I bought her fast luck oil before a trip to vegas and came out on top of the penny slots, turning 9$ into almost 90$! I live in Boston, and for the prices I see in her store she could get at least 30 - 50% more for the pieces if she sold in Cambridge or Boston. Some of the prices are so low I was wondering if she didn't need money or something. Truly. Sidenote, I'm a sucker for owners of establishment who don't simply tow the line, they actually know what they have and care about things being done well. Haven't had any bad experiences, only when I should've bought but waited too long! Will be back (I always go here when I'm in VT).

Visited the Flying Pig after finding one of their postcard-type flyers in another antique shop…read more Didn't know what to expect, but since were in the area decided to give it a try. Disappointed! They had some interesting items, but not really competitive with other shops like we found in Antique Alley (New Hampshire) or on Route 101 (New Hampshire). Moreover, the goods were seriously overpriced. We have found many better deals and equal or better quality at many of the shops mentioned previously. Being antique dealers we certainly know how to pick. Will return to Route 1 (Maine) and elsewhere for what we need.
