The manager, Crickett, treated us horribly. We were told a 30 min wait for a party of 6. We waited 50 minutes. A party of 8 came in behind us and was seated within 15 minutes. When our buzzer finally went off, she rudely told us that we had to be split into 2 tables. I responded that we had already waited longer than we were told and that a larger party who came in after us had already been seated. She rudely told me "well we are busy". When I made a comment that she as was speaking rudely to us, she snapped the buzzer out of my hand and told us to leave that we were no longer eating there. read more

Just had the most appalling experience at Millie's -- I'm still in shock. We were sat outside with our family (2 adults, 6 kids) and ordered 3 pizzas, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and one Diet Coke. Simple enough, right? But when we went to settle the bill, I noticed a charge that hadn't been there earlier -- for a beer we never ordered. Earlier, while waiting for our food, the kids were playing beach volleyball and accidentally knocked over a man's half-drunk beer. I immediately apologized, grabbed the bottle, and asked our waitress if she could just top it off -- trying to be courteous and avoid a scene. When the bill came (from the owner, not our waitress), that beer was mysteriously added. I asked why, and she said, "Because you ordered a beer." I explained it wasn't for us -- it was an attempt to do right by a customer who happened to be near a family-friendly game. Her response? "Well, he probably would've come to us angry." What came next was truly unbelievable. She told me that everyone at the restaurant had a problem with our table. She actually said: "Even the bartender didn't want to deal with you the entire time!" Interesting, considering we don't even drink -- one Diet Coke, one refill. That's it. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said, "I am the manager. F* off."** I was stunned and asked, "Excuse me?" To which she doubled down: "Get the f* out of here!"** Absolutely vile behavior. I've never in my life been spoken to like that in any restaurant -- especially not in a small-town place that should pride itself on hospitality. And we weren't the only ones. Another table nearby shared they had a horrible run-in with the same owner that night. If kids aren't welcome, post a sign. If customers are a burden, maybe reconsider running a business at all. This was beyond bad service -- it was hostile, unhinged, and frankly disgusting. I will never be back. And if you're thinking of bringing your family here -- I'd think twice. read more

The service was very good and friendly. The establishment was great, with a cozy bar/grill scene inside and a fun park like scene outside. The food is not very good. The Woodfired pizza was Digirnios level at best. The house salad was wilted and sprinkled with frozen cheese. The chilli burger had canned chilli on it. If you are going to serve shoestring fries, don't overcook them. Everyone at our table of eight had rock hard French fries. I don't mind overpriced food as long as it at least seems like they tried, but I didn't see that here. A fun place to get drinks or hangout with fun atmosphere but horrible place to eat. The owner is a nightmare. All of our food was wrong and she slammed my husbands order down on the table in front of him. She acts like she is doing you a favor by letting you eat there. We don't go to Priest Lake much so we did not know that this restaurant had been purchased and updated by a new owner...and she is doing a great job! We were staying at Hills and there is almost nothing in the area that is open in the winter. We visited Mille's for lunch and saw she was having a band Saturday night. Fun place to go with a good wine list. We ordered the pretzel bites with a beer cheese sauce (pretty good), prime rib sliders (not very good as it was just small chunks of beef with little taste), a Caesar salad (fine), pepperoni pizza (quite a bit of sauce but still tasty), and steelhead (yummy) with risotto (they substituted red potatoes as they ran out of risotto - disappointing). NOT COVID Concerned. Sign posted at entrance regarding masks etal. We specifically asked to have a table outside and away from others as we had an elderly guest. Also specifically asked the waitress if she wouldn't mind wearing her mask at our table. Best she did was under her nose. Mostly though it was on her chin. Shame food was great. Location was great. Three in our party ordered the Copper River Salmon, which was to be served with a mango sauce, a vegetable, and rice. The salmon was dry and tasteless, the mango sauce did't add anything to the taste, the vegetable was overcooked and hard-as-rocks Brussel sprouts. Even the rice lacked flavor. For a $28 entree, this was simply awful; none of us liked it. We weren't convinced the salmon was actually Copper River. Millie's needs to stick to what it does best---really good bar food. Ok this was the place to go back in the day... When Betty Boop ran it they had awesome food especially the mexican nights... A friend used to bartend so the drinks were good to go. Now not so sure its been about a year or two since I have been back. There must have been a recent change in ownership as previous reviews paint a picture of a two-but redneck bar in North Idaho with dogs roaming around and less then stellar food. We stopped in while passing through town in March while exploring Priest Lake. The bar had a few kind folks sitting and watching the boys basketball. NCAA playoffs they were nice, friendly and respectful. The bar has a nice selection of food on the menu, we were too early for the salad bar Saturday night special. We tried the nachos and took a brick oven pizza to go. The nachos, we picked to have shredded beef. Here's while the bar did not earn 5 stars. The serving included a huge pile of tortilla chips (not sure if these are shipped in or made in house) and scant amounts of melted shredded cheese & toppings. The shredded beef wasn't seasoned with any taco style seasonings therefore the plate was bland for my tastes. Less chips or more cheese would be a place to improve. The salsa wasn't horrible, nice flavor and it was tasty. The BBQ chicken pizza was piping hot with a nicely crunchy thin crust. Not too bed for the middle of nowhere Idaho :) read more

There is now a NEW owner, as of November, 2013. The Mexican food is back as well as 10" brick oven pizza. Very clean and friendly.
