Grand Reopening!!!!!! The first day of VR opening in the new location and the team crushed it. Yes, it was busy. Yes, we had to wait. But the quality of food and the atmosphere was well worth it. The VR team did a great job! The food is amazing and the new location allows for more people to enjoy more space to spread out. The live band for opening day was a great touch! We've have been driving to Priest River from Sandpoint just to get pizza. It used to be that good. I've decided to not make the drive anymore. 1st the second to my last time I drove from Sandpoint during normal working hours to find them closed with a sign up. Yes, I called first and yes, I checked online to make sure they were open. They didn't answer their phone, but I figured they were busy. It was a big game day. My last time getting pizza the crust was way thicker, not quite the right texture and it didn't even taste like it had the pizza sauce on it. I could see a little at the top of the crust. The toppings were good, but because of the crust and lack of sauce it didn't have much flavor for my about $38 pizza. I hate to leave this review. I'm always excited to find great pizza as it is hard to find these days. read more

We came by here from out-of-town because a local person recommended this place. The food was delicious with fantastic pizza and bread sticks! It was obvious that most, if not everyone there, when we were there, were locals. There was a lot of familiarity, first names, hugs, conversations, etc. BUT, my friend and I are not locals. The gal who took our order needs a serious personality transplant! There were none of the typical pleasantries and politeness one would expect from a business that appreciates their customers and the money I was there to spend. She, a tall-ish, blond-ish woman didn't say a word. She just stared at me like I was supposed to start things. She didn't say a word. Hint: Try this lady: "Hello, what would you like today?". This person represents this business! It was obvious that the atmosphere of this business is much more welcoming to locals. B.S.!! I don't care how great the food is. Have been here a couple of times and it always has been good. Upon walking in there are several tables to choose from if you are dining in. We have had a supreme pizza, combo pizza, Hawaiian, and veggie pizzas. All had perfect amount of toppings and sauce. And the dough is perfect amount of thickness, soft and chewy with a slight crispiness that you want with a crust. This will be our pizza place when we come into the area. read more

We enjoy camping at the Priest River campground and it is about half a mile from this place. We decided to get a pizza and bring it back to camp and we were delighted. Let me start by PRAISING VR's pizza. Great crust, sauce has Flay-Vuh! Baked perfectly. Now here's my old man complaint, and even I acknowledge it's not much of one. On my pizza .... the onions WERE CUT TOO THIN! During baking they became onion shreds, strings, and threads. The sensation was more like having a stray hair in my mouth than a vegetable. See? Good pizza for the area but a little too old school menu for me. If you like the original toppings pizza has come with for 25+ years, you'll be happy. If you're looking for some toppings like goat cheese, salami, serrano's, etc. this will not be one of their options. I like their sauce and the crust is pretty good but the menu and choices of toppings are very limited in my opinion. We'll keep trying them in hopes some new options are offered. read more

Down from our cabin on the river for something different for dinner. Felt like pizza and found this gem! One of the best pizzas we have had in ages. Fresh ingredients and great crust as well. The breadsticks were fantastic with the mix of mozzarella and cheddar and the marinara sauce is so tasty that came with it. We're hoping that the landlord does get the outside part finished so we will be able to sit outside with our dogs next time. We are guaranteed to be back many times every time we will be up at our cabin which is weekly. read more
