Our group (4) ordered fish, onion rings, tots, spaghetti salad, crab salad and a turkey club wrap and homemade pies - Dutch apple pie and Peanut butter pie. The Friday night specials included steaks and baked potatoes which looked delicious passing our table. Nothing was greasy, fish, tots, onion rings were crispy. Salads are homemade and yummy. The salad was good however there was one part of the iceberg lettuce that was turning brown. For a drink I had Pepsi in which I thought they may use well water for being so rural. If they did, it didn't matter. The Pepsi was a great mix. If the server caught the lettuce issue, I probably would have given Magpies 5 stars. That doesn't mean I won't go back because I sure will the next time I pass through Hicksville, OH and I highly recommend this restaurant.
