My personal favorite (as well as a popular community favorite) is the "Michigan Pothole". It's a creamy rich chocolaty ice cream with small chunks of chocolate and ribbons of sweet chocolate running throughout each scoop. I highly recommend it, and can hardly wait for my next visit! Like most customers, I assumed the tips placed in those jars were going directly to the employees working behind the counter and making drinks during busy rushes. Finding out that employees reportedly do not directly receive those tips feels misleading and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The staff always seem to work incredibly hard, especially during rushes, and customers tip because they want to support THEM. If tip money is being used differently, customers deserve transparency about that. For me personally, this -- combined with other experiences that made me feel unwelcome -- has changed how I view the business entirely. I'll be choosing to support other local businesses moving forward.

Several times I have stopped by when they are supposed to be open and they aren't. It seems like they had an idea and just opened without fully fleshing it all out. They are just figuring it out as they go. I get that this is a small business and not a chain but they should have procedures in place, stick to the hours they post, and simplify menu.
