I need to get one more filling on back molar, and I had a sore throat, that's my my tonsils are inflamed lol.

Great place great dentist, my dentist was very nice Valentina Ayala, she was very nice put me at ease, found out she loves sweet potatoes. I'm very happy with her and all the staff at millhopper family dentistry, they were honest upfront and saw me right away, I got two fillings x-rays an exam and tooth cleaning for $850. Which is not bad. Other dentists had quoted me a lot more, I'm very happy with my fillings and she spent a lot of time on my fillings, they were molars and she had to remove old amalgam fillings. I'll come here every 6 months for my teeth cleanings, my wife also loves millhopper dentistry, they have a great attitude and are always friendly. A+++. I highly recommend millhopper dentistry.

Luckily after getting a second opinion I did not need root canals before getting crowns placed.

The staff has gone above and beyond to assist me before leaving on a trip, to ensure I had what I needed while away. They are top notch, and I am grateful for them. Doc Ward was professional, along with all the other employees, but also very caring. She was willing and receptive to answering any questions I had. The other Doc, whom I can't remember his name, was efficient and quick, payed attention to detail during an exam, and also very responsive to any questions I had. I've been three times for cleanings and twice for simple dental work. I highly recommend this place, and have sent my family and co-workers here!

KNOWING my tooth was chipped, with a nerve exposed. They STILL sat me down in the office, overviewed my records, brought up my epilepsy...which they were fully aware of when I walked in, proceeded to take several X-rays, (which involved shoving hard metal into my mouth) ...and then refused to perform the procedure, because "what if you have a seizure on the table" and referring me to an orthodontist instead. Saying, and I quote, they "didn't have a crash cart" and "weren't equipped for these kinds of things". Even though both Florida and federal law states that they have to be. I will be filing a complaint with the DOH, and I've already filed with the Epilepsy Foundation. A Doctor that is so concerned with saving her own behind should know about ADA laws. This place is an insurance scam. Don't bother.

Doctor (emoji clap hands) Van (emoji clap hands) Dyke (emoji clap hands)…read more I called in late-ish one evening to see if they could fit me in the next morning, even though I wasn't a patient. I had some horribly painful new fillings from another dentist in town (*cough* hack job), and they were causing jaw discomfort. They were not smooth at all, and the fillings were too high, causing issues with my bite. I'd been back three times to have assorted messed-up fillings fixed, to no avail. Dr. Van Dyke's team was super sympathetic and found a small window of time for me the next morning. I came in with my nerves totally shot and feeling a little gaslit, like maybe I didn't actually have problems with my teeth, but I was imagining them at this point. Dr. Van Dyke sat me down, took a look and completely agreed with me. He took what little time he had and fixed my bite, and smoothed out another filling that was bothering me because it was left rough. He noted that the high filling he fixed had left one of my molars loose (!!!!!!!!!) and asked me to come back for a follow up a month later to see if it would "tighten up". All told, he made me feel better that I wasn't crazy AND he fixed the problem for me. I left feeling vindicated, much happier and more at peace with my mouth in general. His staff was so sweet, patient and kind and the office itself is nicely appointed. It's clean and quiet, which is very soothing. Many people fear the dentist, but Dr. Van Dyke is gentle and kind and I would recommend him to anyone. PS I went back a month later and the molar is fine now :)
