The dental team, Dr. Taylor and a PA, did their best to get my problem resolved, spent quite a bit of time with me setting up my status for a new, registered patient (Full X-rays and history). Their concern for my comfort was exceptional and unexpected - this practice is NOT like most dental practices that I've been to. I also noted that the entire staff, reception, billing, scheduling, assistant and the DMD herself were all smiling and, it seemed, happy to be working there and so welcoming to a new face. I'm sold. KNOWING my tooth was chipped, with a nerve exposed. They STILL sat me down in the office, overviewed my records, brought up my epilepsy...which they were fully aware of when I walked in, proceeded to take several X-rays, (which involved shoving hard metal into my mouth) ...and then refused to perform the procedure, because "what if you have a seizure on the table" and referring me to an orthodontist instead. Saying, and I quote, they "didn't have a crash cart" and "weren't equipped for these kinds of things". Even though both Florida and federal law states that they have to be. I will be filing a complaint with the DOH, and I've already filed with the Epilepsy Foundation. A Doctor that is so concerned with saving her own behind should know about ADA laws. This place is an insurance scam. Don't bother.

The staff was terrific. The dentist spoke to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. He even argued with me after informing him I had two full hip replacements and was told I would always need to take antibiotics he suggested mouthwash use as a remedy to a throbbing tooth. They were very honest and let me know it was actually something else and not my tooth, which I really appreciated. I ended up having a few visits for other things, including a cleaning, and every single time the staff was very nice and welcoming. I had Dr. Habib, who was absolutely phenomenal. He's very kind, efficient, and clearly knows his stuff, which made me feel really comfortable. The office itself is clean, modern, and has state-of-the-art equipment. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the billing. A few times my insurance got mixed up, and while I was there, I noticed other patients coming in with billing concerns as well. To be fair, that could be more on the insurance side than the office, but it did cause some inconvenience. Overall, I would definitely recommend them and will continue going back!

I went to this dentist years ago and he told me that he wanted to do an "equilibration", which…read morewould straighten my teeth. It was very expensive and I told him I would have this done, but I wanted to pay as we went. He drilled two of my teeth (healthy teeth, just crowded) down to nubs and put crowns on them. Then I started getting bills for things that had not yet been done. Luckily, that put me off using him. They sent my bill (for things that were not done) to a collection agency! I was quickly able to prove I did not owe anything, but it just proves what schysters they are. To make things worse, the two teeth he ground down and crowned only lasted a few years and ended up being pulled because of all the damage underneath! He was about to do the other side when I got the bill I didn't owe, and those teeth are still in great shape! I am in the middle of getting $10K worth of implants now to replace the two teeth he ground down and ruined! STAY AWAY!!! I would give zero stars if this was an option!!!
