I wanted to share my experience with Miller's Pharmacy because I really haven't seen many reviews about them--and I think they deserve a shout-out! I'm now in month 6 of my weight-loss journey, have been very successful, and I'm officially halfway to my goal. I'll admit, I got caught up for a while in the pharmacy-switching bandwagon. You know the hype: "This pharmacy is better than that pharmacy," or "You have to try this one!" So I tried some different options. What did I learn? Stick with what works for YOU. For me, that has been Miller's. Their compounded tirzepatide has consistently given me the best appetite suppression, even at a relatively low dose, and my experience with their medication has been extremely consistent. I also really appreciate how seriously they seem to take shipping. Miller's ships UPS Next Day Air, and my medication has always arrived properly packaged and cold. I requested a refill through my provider yesterday, it shipped overnight last night, and according to UPS tracking, it will be at my door by noon today. Shipped AND received within 24 hours of my refill request and that is how temperature-sensitive medication should be shipped! After trying other options, I'm going back to what has worked best for me. Miller's has been the most effective pharmacy for me personally, and my plan is to stick with them for the remainder of my journey. There aren't nearly as many reviews out there for Miller's Rx as some of the other pharmacies, so I wanted to share a positive experience. Great appetite suppression, consistent results, careful packaging, and overnight shipping. Sometimes the grass really isn't greener on the other side. Why are your entire pharmacy staff and staffing with people that understand how to deal with human beings instead of being robotic nasty mean and they talk down to people that they have no idea who they're speaking with it seems like it's a task for them to help you when you're trying to get medicine which obviously you need. I will never go back there. I will transfer my medicine to anybody else. Just terrible! When you walk in, you're in a packing warehouse and no one even looks you way. The woman at the front couldn't find my prescription and was walking all over the place looking for someone to help. I was the for over an hour between trying to help the person ahead of me to them running around looking for my medication. I then, stupidly, asked to talk to a pharmacist. SHE COUNLD'T FIND ONE! It's a pharmacy! How can you not find a pharmacist?!?!? AND the place and people were gross. The people packing the boxes to ship to people were licking melted chocolate off their hands and then putting it all over the boxes that were being packed for people! I receive temperature controlled medication monthly from Millers and I just want to say that they always do a great job. My medication is always packaged securely and kept cold. Fast delivery! I usually next it 1-2 days after my MD sends the prescription to them. This last time was the best experience yet because Kathleen from Millers actually sent me a personal text message with a reference number when the package was shipped and then Kathleen sent me a follow up text the day after my package was received to make sure I received it! I have been a client of this pharmacy for a couple of years now and wish I had stumbled upon them sooner! They are unbelievably helpful, understanding and compassionate. The pharmacist actually listen to you and will actually speak to you if you need to, unlike chain pharmacies after an hour on hold an 18 year old kid can't even remember why I am on hold and very few in chain pharmacies are actually knowledgeable about pharmacology. (Which should be a requirement as even over the counter medication can have adverse effects when used in combination or with some prescription medications). Lastly, I don't feel like a number. I don't feel judged because of what I am being prescribed. They protect my privacy at all times and that a quality that shows incredible integrity throughout the staff. Every question I ask is truly heard and if an issue arises they work with me to resolve the issue. I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough. You WILL be treated promptly, met with empathy and most of all, made to feel you matter. James seems to be my point of contact recently and he did a wonderful job troubleshooting an issue that arose unexpectedly. He was kind and empathetic to my issue. He solved the problem in less than 15 minutes and even followed up with me later in the week to ensure everything went smoothly and that I had everything I needed. It was so refreshing and further illustrates how this pharmacy is one of the few good ones left. If you do use a chain pharmacy, I suggest, just once, give them a try. I guarantee you will not regret it and will have a pharmacy where you feel part of a family not a name on a computer screen. I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided by Millers Pharmacy (A Daywel Company) and LifeRx.md. I received a compounded semaglutide prescription that requires strict refrigeration, 36°F to 46°F, to maintain its efficacy. The storage requirements are determined through a combination of FDA guidelines, state pharmacy board regulations, and individual pharmacy stability testing. However, the package lacked any clear labeling indicating the need for refrigeration. As a result, the medication was left in my building's package room for over 24 hours, with the ice packs completely melted and the medication no longer cold. Compounded medications, unlike FDA-approved ones, are more sensitive to temperature variations. This oversight could compromise the medication's effectiveness and, more importantly, patient safety. Both companies have a duty of care to ensure proper handling and clear communication regarding storage requirements. The lack of appropriate labeling and instructions is a serious lapse in responsibility. I cannot recommend these companies due to their negligence in handling temperature-sensitive medications. Update: After an email exchange about my issues with LifeRx.md, that THEY initiated, they GHOSTED ME! So not only have they been negligent, they have demonstrated complete disregard for customer concerns and basic professional courtesy. Their apparent strategy of initiating contact only to disappear when accountability is required speaks volumes about their business ethics. This level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable when dealing with medications that directly impact health outcomes. Patients deserve providers who understand that proper medication handling isn't optional--it's essential. Never in my life have I had such bad service from a pharmacy before. I used their text message system to refill my son's prescription and they never answer. I'd have to send two or three texts day after day to get a response. I also had issues with their prices. Our insurance covered the prescription and should have been $3 each refill. First they would never have the refill done on time which was horrible because my son needed his medication and we'd be scrambling to figure something out while the pharmacy would be refilling it and than at pickup the cost of the prescription would be $25 because they wouldn't contact our insurance for coverage. And now the final straw was they no longer cover compounding prescriptions, which is the only reason we ever even went here. I do not recommend this pharmacy, I would legit go anywhere else. read more

Refuses to give pricing without an RX. Never in my life have I dealt with a pharmacy that was so non-transparent and anti-competitve, and that's saying a lot for a long-time participant in our lovely american healthcare system, isn't it fellow yelpers!? I have a right to have a general idea how much an RX will cost before transferring my RXes to this pharmacy. It's not fair to me, or my dr, to get all RXes sent here, spend "2-3 business days for a turnaround", finally get pricing to know whether the rates are competitive or if I need to shop elsewhere, which would require asking my dr to resend the same RXes again. He is busy and so am I. I read this independent pharmacy was recently sold to new owners, I hope they see this and consider changing their policies because there are other independents nearby who will answer this basic question for cash pay patients. read more

They sent my compounded prescription medication with no documentation, no receipts, and no super bill to submit to my insurance and health savings account for reimbursement. These are prescription medications!! They are required to send information on dosage etc.. The state of New Jersey needs to look at this pharmacy. read more

I have a prescription for a controlled substance that is filled here. I called to see if it was ready for pickup, the woman on the phone was initially very nice. Asked the usual name, DOB. From the info I provided she could clearly look up my prescription and simply say yes or no; however at this point she began to press me "so what do you need again??" "Can you repeat what you need??" What is the name of your medication?" Then, as soon as I said the name, she yelled "NO it's not ready !" And hung up on me! Listen lady, you work at a pharmacy that regularly fills a medication prescribed by MANY doctors, for a legitimate medical condition. We aren't junkies. We follow a PRESCRIBED regimen given to us from a doctor, that the pharmacy YOU work at, provides. If you're not mature enough to work at a place that compounds a substance you feel morally superior to, then you shouldn't be working there. That's Bergen County for you, I guess. I'm giving three stars because their service IS generally quick and their compounding medication IS of highly therapeutic quality. read more

Millers has taken an absolute turn for the WORSE. They have moved to online sales. Customer service is poor and they barely acknowledge your presence when you walk in. It is a shame from the wonderful family pharmacy they use to be. The people in this place are so RUDE and unfriendly it was mind blowing. From the lady who could barely look away from the computer to barely greet me, push me to someone else in "customer service " who was less than personable and made me feel like i was bothering her - (was kind to the man she helped next and smiled at him so clearly she was capable of doing) to the last lady who was neither helpful or nice on subject they deal with!!!!! Gosh, when am I going to remember to check Yelp before using a new pharmacy, doctor, etc.? My first use of Millers Pharmacy was a disaster. I trusted them because of the connection with Costco. Bad decision. I ordered a topical cream that should last at least 30 days, but because the pharmacy bungled the entire order, the cream only arrived today after I paid $13.95 shipping (they claim "2-day free shipping). That was 6 days ago. That means this expensive drug of $70 only lasts 25 days if I am lucky. If I had not called into the pharmacy to find out about the delay in hearing from them, I would not have discovered they were going to send me a 90-day supply for over $100. What?! Would it have only lasted 30 days as well? This pharmacy is not to be trusted. Stay far-far away! read more

Absolutely the worst. Millers was good up until 2014 or 2015 and then started going downhill. The larger companies that bought Miller's have ruined it. I called asking if they had a medication in stock as I was having trouble finding it and they wouldn't answer the question unless I brought in a new Rx. The new staff is horrendous and customer service is about as lousy as humanly possible. Sad that Miller's is now just another corporate pharmacy and everything that made this store good has been lost forever. The fact they also basically abandoned home health care and DME products, or charge insane amounts for the few shower chairs and similar such items for elder care. Shower chair at Miller's was $80+ and the exact same one was $29.99 at CVS. I understand the markup and buying in bulk but Miller's is just plain ripping people off. The compounding lab is an absolute disgrace. Utter chaos. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Prescriptions are never filled on time, prices change day by day depending on who you speak with and the service is just appalling. My family had been using Miller's for decades but stopped around 2016 when the place went to crap and they lost many of their longtime employees. What a disappointment. It seems David prioritizes money and the new fad scams to "stay young" and "wellness support" over running a good independent pharmacy. When they starting selling homeopathic sprays I lost a ton of respect for David and Miller's but now the place is just a joke. Literally unbelievably awful customer service. What a shame. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Took payment info, never heard anything about my prescription, they will not return calls or texts. When we finally got through they said my prescription was awaiting payment, which I had provided days prior. Two weeks and I am still waiting. Avoid at all costs - I desperately need these meds but for a non-life threatening condition. I can only imagine the poor people that have to deal with this nonsense who rely on their medications for survival. I have been a customer of Miller's for many years. Since the place was bought from the old owner David, this place has gone down the tube. What used to be a beautiful mom and pop pharmacy is now just another conglomerate retail store. No personalized help, no answering of the phones, no automatic refills, and certainly no one on one care and concerns. It's a shame! It looks like the pharmacy is simply a side job while they are trying to promote Jilly's personal botox, facials, fillers, etc.... You only can speak with customer service representatives who are very difficult to understand. I have had to dive to Millers to obtain an answer to a question. As literally the only participating compounding pharmacy for Caremark, I am stuck with them in NJ. Not sure if this is nation-wide for Caremark for compounded prescriptions, but it's disgusting we are forced to deal with people 3000 miles away or more and red tape when trying to fill a medical prescription. My family have been a customer of David Miller for over 25 years. Great guy who watches out for his customers health. Since the pharmacy has been sold it has exponentially gone down hill. If you call the pharmacy you are usually put on hold and forgotten about. There is an endless amount of mistakes and misplaced prescriptions. The staff is poorly trained. No one on staff knows what they are doing. They regularly give incorrect information. Sadly this was always one of the most highly respected pharmacies in Bergen county now I would vote it one of the worst. The bee owner hasn't a clue how badly it is being run.
