Livers are hard to find, and really good ones even harder. Tender and good flavor. One day I'll try the chicken!

Very good chicken, and consistent too. Cozy atmosphere with cold sides and sodas available. Affordable and fresh.

This is good ole fashioned Catholic family fried chicken, all the classic sides too. Delicious, nostalgic, satisfying.

Best fried chicken in Ohio easily. Local place that has been there forever and is often overlooked by students. Hidden gem!!

Not cheap but good pizza. But not good enough to go uptown to get one. Just when I get psyched up…read morefor Mexican pizza they bailed out. "Townes" eat pizza top

Where to start? We pulled in and immediately discussed whether it was open or not ... it was dead,…read moreno lights on outside, the windows were dark and there was only one car in the parking lot during dinner hours on a Sunday. That should have told us something but we went ahead inside. We were told cavalierly to sit wherever we please since the place was almost deserted. We received our menus, and they looked okay (we did notice the prices were higher). We ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and meatballs for appetisers, an Italian and veggie sub, and a white pizza "to go" for later snacking. What a costly mistake! The meatballs were large and watery and the sauce so thick it wouldn't spread. The mozzarella cheese was passable for something out of the microwave. The salad arrived, very chintzy for the price. The subs were inedible. The bread practically cut our mouths- it had to be a few days old and very cheap. Made me think about the most affordable bread you can get for subs, but just warmed up in the microwave after it's become stale. The Italian was completely inedible - all the ingredients tasted cheap, bland and kinda "off." The veggie sub was mainly all cheap bread and a few sliced veggies, hardly any cheese or condiments. The place remained empty and we felt bad our waitress because we think she knew how bad the food was. $90 later (!!) we left feeling cheated and still hungry. Later that night, when we opened the "white" pizza, it was so bad it was funny. We expected creamy Alfredo goodness with spinach or artichokes, but in the end, it was a deflated pizza crust (paper-thin but somehow still greasy) that hurt your mouth, with the thinnest layer of cheese melted and tasting mainly like salt. We will obviously never go back and we can't not let people know! We're hoping this place closes soon so another, better restaurant will move in. We traded Lamb's Garden for this?

One friend ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and got a fruity vinaigrette instead. Another friend ordered a burger and they forgot the bacon. A third friend asked for his burger well-done, but it came out medium, also with no bacon. When he asked the server if it looked well-done, she said she didn't know what well-done looks like. He asked if she could get a new one so he wouldn't get sick, and she said she'd check with the kitchen. No apology. It took 25 minutes for the new burger to come out, and by then we had been there for over an hour and a half. When she finally brought it out, she asked if he wanted a box to take it home. Still no bacon on the burger. Also, no apology again. Overall, not a great experience. Will not be back.

This brew pub strikes a great balance between laid-back charm and quality offerings. The atmosphere…read moreis cozy and intimate, with dim lighting that adds warmth and character to the space. The wrap-around bar gives it a welcoming, communal feel--perfect for grabbing a seat solo or catching up with friends. The beer selection is limited, but what they do have is decent, albeit a little on the heavier side. It's the kind of place where you don't need a massive tap list--just a few good options done right. What really surprised me were the wings. Locally sourced and noticeably larger than your average bar wings, they were absolutely packed with flavor--easily some of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with the perfect amount of dry rub. Worth the visit for those alone. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with great food, good beer, and a neighborhood-pub kind of feel, this place delivers.
